We had a fantastic stay in the "Lucky Sun" we were to capacity 16 and we weren't crowded at all. Everyone had a bed (some shared) but no one had to be on the floor or couch. The kitchen was very well stocked it was nothing we needed that wasnt there. our group ranged in ages from 60 to 4 and everyone had fun. If your stay includes a Thursday night you are in a great location to get to the Palm Springs Street Fair which is lots of fun.

The service provided by the property management was exceptional. Very friendly and professional. Only reason I didn't give chek-in 5 stars is because when we got there (right at check-in) the house was still being cleaned. She didn't finish until almost 2 hours after we got there. So, we had to walk around her to put away groceries. It was 114 degrees outside and didn't want to leave them out in the sun. We tried to keep out of her way as much as possible but it's kind of hard with 16 people all wanting to get in their bathing suits and into the pool. Walking in to find trash bags, dirty kitchen and floors and a vaccum in the doorway, did put a little damper in the "wow" factor.
However, that was only a small glitch in a wonderful weekend. We loved the place so much and had so much fun, the incident was soon forgotten.
I've concluded that this house was built for my family! There were 16 of us divided into the 6 rooms (11 beds). We never felt crowded and it was nice and cool and comfortable.
It was close to grocery stores, a casino and spa and downtown. It really was a perfect location.
We celebrated my 41st birthday and the only thing on our agenda was fun in the sun and that we had. Some of us did go out to the Casino at night and a few checked out Downtown, while the rest stayed home and watched a movie exhausted from all the swimming and "cannonbaaalls".
I definitely recommend it to families with children as well as to groups of friends who just want to kick back, grill, swim and enjoy an ice cold drink soaking up the sun.
Look forward to turning 42 at the Lucky Sun next year! -

As the Chair for a branch of student government at a private university, I needed to find a place to house and entertain 16 young men and women while still having a place to do business. Lucky Sun gave us everything we could have expected and more. The location was convenient, the house was amazing and check in was a breeze! The only complaint I received was that the jacuzzi wasn't big enough for all of us, but we still managed to fit 5 or 6 people in it rubbing shoulders and everyone was more than happy with the pool. Portia communicated amazingly through the entire reservation process and I ended up leaving with a complement regarding the location from each of my members. I am recommending that future Presidents return to this location for future retreats! A+

Great space...good pool, small-but good jacuzzi (pictures a little mis-leading). Excellent cevtral location.
