Sandacre Estate is one of the grande dames of the Movie Colony neighborhood. The stately Spanish hacienda, where Marilyn Monroe was rumored to have been a frequent guest, has 5 bedrooms and 5 ½ bathrooms.
Upon entering through the 15-ft. high Spanish wood gates and cobblestone motorcourt, one can only imagine the Hollywood glamour and luxury impressed on this estate. The hacienda is surrounded by stucco walls, lush with fruit trees and greenery and vast lawns, behind which the San Jacinto Mountains rise. I was concerned when we were handed over to another company on the ground in Palm Springs. I would give Homesrun a score of 3 on a scale of 5. There were a number of problems with the house - flood, master shower head didn\'t work properly, a misrepresentation of one of the bedrooms (One large bedroom was a converted garage room that you could only enter through another bedroom). This is NOT mentioned in the literature. Main conceriege for our house went on vacation and we were left with a guy who had only been on the job for a few months. Does not know much about Palm Springs. Very nice however, found our granddaughters necklace and mailed it back to her which was very nice. Generally speaking, the interior of Sandacre could use an update. It is really a 3 bedroom house. The garage bedroom has a huge gap running along the bottom of the garage door that can allow critters in the house. The kitchen appliances are great. - Lynn G., New York, USA
