The Cottage is the newest addition to Rose Ridge Vacation Chalets. Located near our Chalet (which is also listed here on Flipkey), the Cottage features the same panoramic view south to the mountain ranges circling the Mat-Su Valley. On 10 wooded acres 7 miles from downtown Palmer at the base of Hatcher Pass State Recreation Area. Furnished with leather furniture and stainless steel appliances, this unit is open, spacious and bright. A deck with BBQ and eating area facing the view and landscaping make it complete.

The cottage was a wonderful surprise. We have rented from the internet before and they weren,t as nice. The Roses' were close if needed. The cottage was sooo clean, nicely decorated and made you feel at home the moment you walked in. Out in the country, but not too far from the town. When we make the trip, we will definitely stay there again. Thanks so much to the owners.

This house is gorgeous! The setting is so peaceful, and the hosts are wonderful. It is the perfect base spot for exploring Hatcher Pass. The house has all the conveniences of home, which made it perfect for our traveling family with young children. We are leaving today and will definitely miss this spot.

This is the nicest place you will ever stay at if you are in the Palmer-Wasilla area of alaska!!! Price is very reasonable for all you get, it's better than you'd ever expect!! Just beautiful inside and just completed last September so everything is sparkling new. If I was ever to compare it with any other place I have stayed at, nothing would compare to this place, and I've done a lot of travelling, B&B;'s, Lodges, Cabins, B&B;'s abroad and Guest Houses etc. The owners, Dave & Diane Rose are some of the most wonderful people you would ever want to meet!! I would highly recommend this place to stay as you won't be disappointed!! Out in the country, with peace and quiet.

What a beautiful place! We only wished we could have stayed longer--perhaps all summer! The cottage was just completed last October by David and Diane, and they have put so much thought and love into creating a lovely hideaway in the mountains. The wall of windows in the living/dining area affords fantastic views of the surrounding forest and Matanuska Mtns in the distance. The cottage is beautifully decorated and spotlessly maintained; the kitchen is very modern with the latest appliances, and the ceramic tile in the bath/shower is beautiful. The Rose Ridge property is located about 7 miles from Palmer on several secluded wooded acres, which affords much peace and quiet for a very relaxing stay. But we also had high speed internet and satellite reception on the wide screen tv, all the comforts of home--if not more so! Diane was very helpful and accommodating to us weary travelers who were desperate for a good night's rest! Thank you so much for rescuing us from the road!
