Just returned home from a wonderful 5 night stay in 208 Mainsail and wow...we will definitely be returning! Absolutely beautiful 3 bedroom villa with gorgeous views and the utmost privacy which was very surprising for a condo style unit.
The villa is appointed with everything that you need to cook at "home" and whip up a gourmet meal. The beds were all very comfy. The linens are very nice. The bathrooms in the 2 suites are massive and so well laid out that a family of 5 could easily all get ready in 1 bathroom all at the same time. The walk in closets are so huge we were able to place our babies crib in it and there was still tons and tons room around the crib. The furnishings are 5 star luxury quality and are so inviting and comfortable. The screened in porch was our favorite spot in the villa and we even sat out in a thunderstorm and stayed perfectly dry.
The location of the villa is perfect too. So close to everything (restaurants, groceries, shopping) and the direct centre view of the harbour is wonderful for watching the massive yachts come in and go out.
A short walk around the corner takes you to nightly entertainment for children and my 4 year old daughter had a blast singing on stage.
Sherry was excellent to deal with and made us feel so at home. Emails were answered very quickly and Sherry's customer service is second to none. We travel quite a lot and this is by far one of our favorite spots to date.
The island is well known for its many golf courses and we were afraid that the game of golf was going to be so "in your face" at every turn but we were so happy to find that unless you are searching for "everything golf", we really didn't even notice or see it as we are not golfers. There are so many different activities and things to do on the island.
Our only complaint...our stay was much to short!! -

My husband and I have been coming to Hilton Head for several years and have stayed at MainSail numerous times. This is the first time we stayed in Sherry's villa and we can't say enough good things about it. The screened porch seated several people comfortably with comfortable furniture. The den area also was convenient for comfort. There were lots of special touches: baskets of books, devotional readings, WiFi, games, beautiful furnishings, large crockpot. Some units are set up to look nice - this villa is set up to be comfortable and look nice. We had 2 rainy days and survived with two-year old twins!
Shelter Cove offers the Dune Buggy which takes you to the beach, the grocery store, shops or anywhere on their route. Some of our family chartered a boat for shark fishing and some of us went kayaking, right out of the harbor. Don't miss Shannon Tanner. He is the biggest entertainment for all ages and performs nightly in Shelter Cove.
Shelter Cove offers so much for everyone. Mainsail is the best place to stay - we love the covered parking and everything else is in walking distance, by Dune Buggy or bicycle. Sherry's villa is the absolute best! You won't be disappointed.

We have been coming to Hilton Head for many years. This was our best experience yet. The villa is spacious and beautifully decorated. The two porches provide a beautiful view of the Shelter Cove marina. Three large bedrooms with their own baths provide plenty of privacy. The covered parking was so convenient. The location makes driving or biking to the beach and restaurants easy. Definitely a 5 Star experience. The villa provided us with a great week of peace, renewal, and fun.

We have been to HH many times. We always stayed on the beach side but have converted to Shelter Cove. Love the area! Great for watching boats, walking, shopping, eating, etc. This condo is great! Kitchen has everything anyone needs! Villa is very clean! Great layout, each bedroom has lots of privacy. The best place in the villa is the screen porch and the open porch! Comfortable furniture, etc. Shery is great to work with, always available if needed. We will be back!

This spacious, one-level, comfortable villa is beautifully furnished and well maintained. It was the first rental in many, many years of comting to HHI that was perfect. There were absolutely no problems or concerns. Sherry even called during our stay to make sure everything was going well. The mid-island location is wonderful, and there is so much to do for all. We have family who live near Shelter Cove and who have a yacht in the marina, so this condo was the perfect location for us. The view from the balcony was spectacular and so relaxing! I appreciated the wi-fi/internet access to be able to do "some" work from here. We were pleased to find an iron and ironing board in the condo. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. I love how organized everything was. Also I practically had the pool and spa to myself. We typically rent a home in Palmetto Dunes, but this condo was so wonderful that we will definitely want to stay here in the future. Thank you so much Sherry and John for sharing this villa. It made our week in Hilton Head perfect.

This Villa was a wonderful way to spend Thanksgiving. It had everything we wanted and greatly exceeded my expectations. My mid 80 plus parents loved the facilities and the view - especially watching the kayaks, big and little fishing boats, and dolphin cruise boat come and go from the dock. My 20 plus daughter and her boyfriend loved the beach, shops and restaurants - same can be said for my sister and her husband. Carol and I enjoyed the tennis courts, bike trails and beach walks. You can easily bike to the beach and shops. From all the activity, it was nice to come back to a beautiful place and just hang out with my dad and watch some football. I know this is a little like comparing apples and oranges but I just got back from Sandals in antigua and I preferred this Villa in Hilton Head.

We rented this condo in early March--the quiet time of the year--and it was truly wonderful. You have a terrific view of the harbor from your choice of open or screened porches, both of which are very large and well appointed. No cheap plastic chairs here! The inside is elegant but comfortable--looks like a magazine cover. You can walk to a different restaurant every day, and shop along the way. The central location makes driving times to other spots easy as well. The unit is very large and well planned to let multiple parties stay without conflicts. Gated/covered parking is nice as well. 5 stars for sure!
