The somewhat rocky 1/2 mi. drive is often a wildlife viewing experience. At the end you will find a 3500 Sq. ft. newly completed rustic log home with all modern fixtures.including HOT tub, pool table, foosball table. flat screen TV with 75+ channels, 2 jetted tubs and a firepit with wood provided. The 4 bedrooms plus daybeds in the basement and the loft will handle 8 people with ease
The home is 12 miles from Hampden Sydney College, 18 miles from Longwood University and about 40 miles from Lynchburg schools.
The 100 acre property insures privacy so you can have as much noise or quiet as you desire.

Secluded location in the middle of history. Let the 1/2 mile drive take you a million miles from Monday. Deer turkeys, birds, squirrel, foxes, coyote, and a very rare bear inhabit the 100 A. property. If outside activities are your choice, you are 3 miles from the Western end of the High Bridge Trail leading through Farmville to the treetop bridge over the Appomattox River. Appomattox Court House where our Civil War ended is about 15 miles in the other direction with daily presentations provided by the National Park service and a nearby new display of Civil war relics.
Green Front Funiture in Farmville provides 850,000 sq. ft of furniture from around the world and draws shoppers from around the country, Numerous Antique shops dot the area.
You will need a car and parking at the cabin is no problem.
