The Morrison's
Gadsden, AlabamaVery nice and very clean!
Left on 06/27/2012 for a stay in June 2012
This was a great trip! We loved the room. Excellent location on the 2nd floor. Very easy access to the parking deck and the beach. Only had to use the elevator maybe twice during our entire stay. I loved the cleanliness of the room. It was also nice to be able to check in early. Thank you to Scott ( I think this is the name of our booking agent) for being so very helpful and offering the early check in.

In Need of a Vacation
Birmingham, ALExperience the Beautiful Beach with a Fantastic Ocean View!
Left on 08/05/2011 for a stay in July 2011
Tidewater Beach Resort is one of the first condos on the west end of the strip. After our five-hour drive, it was a welcome sight. Having a parking deck prevented our vehicle from baking in the sun. Since we stayed on the second floor, access to the beach and parking deck took little effort. The condo was nicely furnished. The kitchen was adequately stocked with utensils and cooking items. It was a great place to relax! Overall, we had a wonderful time. Although the internet code was not difficult to obtain, it would have been nice to have that provided in the arrival paperwork instead of having to call for it. Other than that, we found a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beach. Being close to Pier Park was an added perk!

Remington InGreat weather and beach, a little disappointed with the condo.
Left on 04/28/2011 for a stay in March 2011
We had stayed at a condo from Southern Resorts last March, the weather wasn't good but the condo was beautiful and the hotel was awesome. This year was the opposite, the weather was great the condo and the hotel were a little disappointing. When we first arrived the floors were dirty and sticky. The room smelled too. The worst part was the building was being painted on the outside and more than one afternoon when I came up to go to the bacolny to look out I had painters on our balcony. I did not like that one bit. The decor wasn't real great either. The hotel wasn't as nice as the Emerald where we stayed last year. The location was nice, close to the mall and other stores. The beach was pretty but much more crowded then our experience last year. Tons of wild college kids some days were out there. I thought they advertised family vacation spots? Overall we had a wonderful week because of the weather and the beautiful beach, I just wish we would have been told about he painting. We would have chose another hotel. It was a big inconvenience, and we are repeat customers and that should count for something.

Door County, WisconsinCondo Nice but Repairs to Building and Pool
Left on 03/13/2011 for a stay in March 2011
The condo was nice, but no king sized bed, that was disappointing. They were doing repairs to the front of the building so we had scaffolding going up and down in front of the balcony every day. Also the air conditioning venting was right outside of the bedroom so we had constant humming all day and night. Missed having a bedroom that looked over the gulf and a separate tub and shower. Overall though was a good value for the price. Next time may want something higher to get away from the air conditioning hum. Also one of the pools was closed due to the constsruction. Would have been nice to know about the repairs/construction going on.

We had a great vacation while staying at The Tidewater. The resort is very nice and is in a great location. Tracy Gaston, with Southern Resorts does the best job in locating a property that fits your wants and needs. I have already booked my 3rd trip to PCB this year through her!! Thanks for a job well done!!

We really had a great time staying in room 204 at Tidewater Resort. This one bedroom 2 bath was very spacious and the view of the beach and ocean were spectacular. It has a great location with shopping and restaurants close by.
We will be staying there on our next trip to Panama City Beach. -

Since we are a couple way beyond the college partying scene we were a little weary when we saw the many college guests coming in with their coolers and what not. But we were pleasantly surprised in the way this buildings security kept the partying and noise levels controlled, even through the celebration on St Pats Day.

Cullman, ALLoved the Tidewater!
Left on 11/12/2009 for a stay in October 2009
We loved the Tidewater Beach Resort! It has 2 separate large outdoor pools with a big hot tub at each pool. The indoor pool was nice and heated. The fitness area was well equipped. By the fitness area was 2 Roman mineral spas that felt good. There is also a steam room and sauna in each of the restrooms in the fitness area. The roman spa and fitness area are for people 18yrs and older. There is a theatre where they played a movie for free on Saturday nights. We did not try the restaurant at the Tidewater, but it looked very reasonable and had live entertainment on some nights. There was plenty of luggage carriers and even some grocery buggies to carry stuff to our room. The elevators seemed pretty fast and there were several of them. The location was great. We were close to Winn Dixie and Pier Park. We walked to the pier almost everyday. The room was very nice. It had a well supplied kitchen. The condo was on the same floor as the walkway from the parking deck. Which was great because we didn't have to take an elevator. We had an small problem that Southern Resorts came and fixed quick. So overall we had a wonderful relaxing 2 week trip and can't wait to go back. Also if you are looking for a good restaurant we recommend Montego Bay. It was very reasonable and so good. We ate there 5 times.

Knoxville, TennesseeHome like feel
Left on 10/29/2009 for a stay in October 2009
We enjoyed this condo very much. It was very comfortable and had a home like feel. The convenience of having the condo on the same level as the parking cross over was a plus. The pools and hot tubs were very large and clean. What I liked least was the expense of the beach chairs and umbrellas. It would have been nice to utilize those, but we felt they were too expensive. The service we received from Southern Resorts Vacation Rentals was excellent.

Left on 10/26/2009 for a stay in October 2009
My wife and I stayed there over Fall Break. We were very impressed with the view of the ocean from the living room. The condo basically sits right on top of the ocean. The sand in Panama City was as white as I've seen on the Gulf Coast. Great stay, easy to find, and hard to leave!

Left on 10/23/2009 for a stay in October 2009
We have waited all year for our vacation to Southern Resorts at Panama City Beach. If you love that beautiful blue-green gulf water, this is the place for you! Just to sit and listen to the ocean is so restful and getting in is even better, water is still warm in October. Right on the beach too.
We will be back next year!
Thanks,

we appreciated the delightful accommodations. staff was very responsive to our one maintenance call regarding the shower in the small bathroom.
living room carpet was somewhat stained but that didn't hamper the good times.
the condo was what was presented on-line. no disappointments or surprises.
local was not in the heart of the panama city beach chaos and very family oriented. -

Macon, GAGreat location, great view, great time
Left on 07/22/2009 for a stay in July 2009
The condo was very tastefully decorated, not too fancy. The location was great being on the 2nd floor because the elevators were constantly full, very slow and always in use. It was so easy for us to just take the stairs instead of standing around waiting for the elevator. Also, being on the same floor as the walk-over to the parking garage was convenient as well. We really enjoyed the view from our room. The condo was convenient to shopping and restaurants, though not right in the middle of the strip and all the hustle and bustle. The only things that would have made our trip better was if the bed in the sleeper sofa had been more comfortable, and if rental of the beach chairs and umbrellas had been included in our room rate.
