The room was not clean and you have to wait 30 mins to just get down to the beach other then that I had a good time...

The view was beautiful but we had issues that were not addressed. Broken refrigerator, dirty condo, bugs, flickering lights, and construction next door. We paid for late departure but key code changed at 10 am. Will not stay at Tidewater again and may not rebook with Southern. I don't blame the condo owners they have a beautiful home but agency not taking care of it.
Can't wait to return!

The condo was large and well laid out. The location is great-walking distance to Pier Park and other establishments. Read more

Review of our winter condo
Left on 04/08/2013 for a stay in January 2013 | Tom & Linda
The girls at the Southern desk were very helpful & friendly. The condo we rented was a huge disappointment. The carpet was dirty, there were broken tiles, the lamps & overhead lighting was not bright enough. The cleaning company did a terrible job of getting the condo ready. The queen bed have double sheets on it. There was black mold in the tub & showers of all 3 bathrooms. All the woodwork was dirty. All the wastebaskets were dirty inside & out. They went ahead & put a liner in them anyway. One looked like someone threw up in it. The vacuum cleaner was dirty & the dirt cup & heppa filter was full of dirt. Kitchen cabinets were dirty on the inside. So were all the vanities. Because of that we had to wash everything in the cabinets. All the ceiling fans had dirt wrapped around the blades. The mirrors were dirty. Pot holders were dirty. Could feel soap scum on the shower walls. Paint was splattered on top of the fridge, cabinets & microwave. The list goes on. You could see daylight under the entry door. When the wind blew it whistled. Had to put a bath towel there to stop the noise. We would not rent from Southern Vacation Rentals again. Shame on you for having one of your employees check what the cleaning company did & approve it!!! We liked what the Tidewater offered & provided for us. The location was great!! Read more

Thank you for taking the time to leave your thoughts on your winter stay with us. We do value our guests opinion and take this opportunity to learn and grow to be able to meet and exceed our guests expectations. I am saddened to hear that you felt the condo was not cleaned as it should have been. After reviewing your reservation, it does appear that once you reported that the condo did not meet your expectations that we sent a cleaner out to address these concerns. We also did have the seal on the front door repaired as well. Again, we thank you for sharing your feedback. We feel honored that you have rebooked your winter stay with us next year and look foreward to seeing you! Warm regards, Southern Panama City Beach Team

It was my grandsons first vacation. Our family had a wonderful time. The room was big, it was clean. Very nice place to stay. I do recommend Tidewater to everyone.
Stay was OK...

We enjoyed our stay at Tidewater for spring break. The condos were smaller than anticipated. Parking was not guest friendly. Especially when it came to the scooter that we rented for the day. Wished the pools stayed open later. Overall the kids and I enjoyed our spring break.
Great Place to stay but..

We had a great time on our vacation and the condo was very nice. The resort company didnt provide enough towels and then they were very rude when we called to get more. Also durring this week we experienced heavy rain almost everyday and the front door had no weather stripping under it and water flooded through the hallway. Over all it was a great place to stay it wasnt packed, but I sugest bringing an ez up so that you dont have to rent a beach chair because they are a mess.

Pros: Condo was comfortable for 5 adults and one toddler. It has 2 bedrooms and one bunk bed area. On the bunkbed area there is a door between the bathroom and beds and then another door to close between the hall. That is a plus. Most other condos just had a curtain. Since an adult was sleeping in there it was great and there was enough room in the adjoining bathroom to put up a pak and play for toddler. The other rooms were sufficient just not enough closet space. Amenities were good. Missed having a bedroom on the gulf side. All on the hall side.
Cons: We rented these condos mainly because they had an indoor "heated" pool in case of rain. The pool was not heated enough. Granted it was much warmer then the outside pools but still too cold to be comfortable in. A lot of people complained about that.
The condo seemed clean enough by looks, the only thing was the floors or carpets were not. Our socks would get very dirty walking around the condo. Not sure if it was carpets or tile. And on the beds they just had sheets and a quilted top bedspread. A small blanket in between that might that be washed everytime would be good.
We don't usually go the beach in the winter but the weather was in the high 60's. Enough to sit on the beach with a good book but not play in the water.
There was a lot of updating going on around the condos but didn't seem to hamper getting around. The Hot tub was good and very hot for the adults. Heard the ones in the gym were nice but didn't get there.
The view was nice and had beautiful sunsets every evening.
This condo is on the west side of the beach, close to "Pier Park" and shopping. A lot of the activities for teens and children are on the east side of the beach but only a 5 - 10 minute ride down the beach but might take longer in summer.
We didn't do much cooking so can't say if it had enough cooking supplies. We just ate cereal and sandwiches during day and went out for supper.
A very nice trip

We really enjoyed the facility, the beach was beautiful - the rooms could stand a little more cleaning, ex: the master bath had rust stains in the toliet, and the carpet needed to be shampooed. It also would be nice to have a few extra towels, bathroom tissue - Overall, we had a great time & would come again.

I am always afraid of staying somewhere new when traveling. I have to tell you this was the easiest check in and out we've have ever had. The room and location was great. It was conveint to shopping and resturants.. Thanks for taking the hassle out our vacation. We will definatly be back. We travel to PCB a few times a year and I am sure we will frequent at Tidewater more often. Thank again. Tracy H.
It was awesome, and very relaxing.

The condo was great. It had plenty of space for us, our daughter and two
grandchildren. The furnishings were very attractive and comfortable. The
beach was well maintained and we had great fun with beach side activities. We
had two items we disliked with the complex. The outdoor pools were not
heated. We were there the first week in April and they were not warm enough
for the grandkids to swim. There is an indoor heated pool did use. Since we
were on the 26 floor, we had length waits for an elevator especially at busy
times. Perhaps being the week after Easter the complex may of been busier

Had a great time and hope to return soon.
Everything was great. Could use a few more pots and pans for those of us that enjoy cooking in instead of eating out. Had to cook breakfast for 3 of us in a 4-5" skillet. But that was the only negative!!

I spent a week with my Grand-Daughters and had a fabulous time, will go back again next year. Our Condo and the view of the Gulf was just fantastic!
