We stayed in this unit for three months this winter and enjoyed it as much as we did in 2012. The kitchen is fully equipped, the view fantastic and ever changing and the amenities such as the hot tub and exercise room are great. The unit was freshly painted five months ago. The washing machine was a bit of a headache and the carpets could use a deep clean. But Southern Resorts staff were very responsive to our calls for repairs. The location of this building can't be beat. Pier Park shopping mall, Target and Walmart are all within walking distance along with a plethora of restaurant choices. We'll be back :)

Aqua 907 is a beautiful unit! Perfect amount of space & it felt like home. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! On the downside, the washing machine broke 2 days into our vacation:( This caused a major inconvenience for the 6 of us in the unit, although, Southern Vacation Rentals helped us very quickly! The washing machine didn't end up getting fixed during our stay because it needed to be replaced, but Southern Vacation Rentals hooked us up with a full service laundry. They reimbursed us for this inconvenience which was greatly appreciated. Also, note: The beach chairs and boogie board in the pictures and details were not available to use. A bummer about the aqua stay in general was the weather left alot to be desired ( the upper 60's during Spring Break) and they only had the indoor pool heated. This left most children crammed inside a small pool during most of their swim time and a parent had to stay inside with them to supervise if less than 12 yrs of age - due to no lifeguard. We didn't want to get no sun during spring break and be left inside watching the kids swim. Also, the condo ( Aqua) only being rented to adults was a plus for us, as we were vacationing during Spring Break with our young children. It was very nice on the grounds to not have any interference with the wild crowd, although, the streets were wild during the night, with loud music being heard when the kids were tucked in at night and lots of yelling and obscenities being heard. Mardi gras beads being thrown to the willing ladies ready to bare their chests. Believe me, this is hard to explain to my young chilren as we are walking to a nearby restaurant for supper. This happened right outside aqua and all the way down the beach in either direction ( including towards Pier Park). We would consider coming back at a different time of year next time, hoping the weather and atmosphere would be more desirable.

A scheduling problem (outside the control of Southern Vacation Rentals) with a local vendor tasked with repairing a faulty washing machine resulted in a clothing dilemma for our eight family members. One of the Southern Vacation Rental employees, Dina, went above and beyond by personally getting the job done... The condo is great, the view spectacular, the beds comfortable, but the number on reason we will come back is Dina.

We received good service from Southern Resorts during our 3 month stay. We liked the unit - it has a fully equipped kitchen and a very cosy feel overall. The location was ideal, virtually across the street from Pier Park and overlooking the beach and ocean. The unit is a bit tired and in need of sprucing up - ie carpets need cleaning, walls could use new paint and some furniture (coffee table) should be replaced. On the whole we had a great time. The facilities such as hot tub, indoor pool, steam room and fitness area were great. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed at aqua 907 and had a wonderful time. The condo was wonderful and the balcony had a great view of the beach and the Pier. Great location and the girls at the desk gave us some great tips on where to go. Wish we could have stayed all month.

Our stay was enjoyable. The furniture was comfortable and a well stocked kitchen, The location was great, close to Pier Park. However, we could not get the DVD player to work in the living room. The King size bed sloped down on the sides so you felt like you were going to fall out of bed. There was no stopper in the sink on the side with the disposal. The vent piece to the microwave fell off and would not stay on. The furnace/AC vents needed to be cleaned. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

(1)surprised that shower/tub did not have safety bars/or handholds-(2)four(4)coat hanger in total condo-(3)used table extender & not only did we have dust-bunnies but dust-hares-(4) one(1) kitchen towel-(5) very dirty floors/carpet-other items,but this is enough! in spite of these items we had a good time-location -& facility.

Aqua is a great place to stay. I went with family(which included 3 adults and 2 children under the age of 4) and everyone had a great time. We had a two bedroom with a den that had an extra bed and a sofa that lets out to a queen bed. The room was neat and spacious. It felt like home away from home. The pools and gym were clean. I went the week after labor day so there was hardly anyone on the property or beach which was great! The beach area was clean. However to rent chairs and a umbrella it would cost $25/day. Some other properties would include it in their price, ours didnt.
Overall the stay was great. walking distance to pier park(a great place to shop). The only bad thing was the wi-fi which didnt work while we were there. We requested service but no one came to fix it. I had to go to the pool area to use the internet instead of my room. That became annoying. Excellent place to stay. Clothes Washer leaked water all over the bathroom floor. It was not fixed during our stay so washing clothes was not available. Problem must have been know already since the washer and dryer were pulled out of the closet when we arrived.

We rented Aqua 907 through Southern Resorts. Everything was well managed and taken care of with no problems. One night we had trouble with the air conditioning shutting off in the unit. Southern Resorts resolved the problem quickly. One problem with the unit - master bed mattress needs to be replaced. Good mattresses are so important to travelers. Aqua is gorgeous - best building on the beach and loved the walking distance to Pier Park. I would use Southern Resorts again.

I enjoyed my stay at the aqua however we did have a couple issues such as not recieving the code to get in the parking garage, burn marks in the carpet, ice maker was frozen and air conditioner was not working. But otherwise the place was beautiful. We had a great time and would come back to the Aqua.
