Man is this place cool. You're really going to enjoy your condo. It's got all the bells and whistles! And there's plenty of room for your stuff. But that's only the beginning. The first thing you'll notice is that this is a really upscale place. All decked out for a great vacation. Lot’s of neat stuff. Let me tell you about it.

The LIVING ROOM is a gathering place for everyone that features a comfortable sofa that opens into a queen sleeper. It’s a neat sectional that’ll seat 6 comfortably. There’s really neat decorator lamps that create a warm glow in the room. A great place to kick back and watch the 35” flat screen TV. There's surround sound too! Can you dig it?!? The remote that can switch channels from anywhere in the room. And there’s a DVD so you can play your favorite movies. Or if you like, surf the web on the high speed wireless internet that’s available. But why would you want to do that when you can look out at a specatular view of the beach and the gulf. Floor to ceiling sliding doors. How about that!?!

The MASTER BEDROOM features luxurious KING size bed and private bath. This room is something else. The bed’s really comfortable. I checked it out. Almost fell asleep. There’s great art on the walls. An oversize dresser. Another flat panel TV. There’s plenty of space to store your beachwear in the spacious walk-in closets. You can even surf the net from in here on the wireless. You’re really going to enjoy zoning out in here after a day of “beaching.” Here’s the cool part. You’ve got floor to ceiling sliding doors for an incredible view from here!

The SECOND MASTER is equally well appointed with a great big QUEEN-size bed and plenty of space for everything you’ve brought to the beach. This large bedroom is a great hideaway because it not only offers a place to catch up on your favorite book. And you can log on to the wireless from here too! This bedroom has an adjacent oversize bath with tub and shower. It’s tiled so that cleaning up is easy.

The THIRD BEDROOM has double QUEEN-sized bunks and is a kid or adult friendly suite that allows plenty of room for sleeping and playing.

The open gourmet KITCHEN area looks out over the water and features beautiful granite counter tops with attractive cabinets and appliances. It’s fully stocked so no matter whether you’re cooking your specialty or just fixing grill cheese sandwiches you’ve got everything you need to please the family. Bar seating makes it easy for everyone to grab a quick snack or a full meal.

The DINING AREA comfortable comfortably seats six, so the family can share meals and trade their favorite part of their days at the beach.

The LAUNDRY makes keeping everyone in clean clothes a breeze.

These bedrooms along with a pull out sleeper sofa in the living room allow the unit to sleep 10 comfortably including 3 complete baths.

  This is our 3rd stay at the Calypso.Right across street from Pier Park (restaurants, shopping, movies) & next to the Pier make this my fave place to stay. I love this location, not as crazy as la Vela area. The resort itself is very clean, safe, beautiful,... The pool is strict on having your bands to get in & this is a good thing. It keeps the drifters from the beach using our amenities. There is a large tiki bar too!....This is first time renting from this company. Room in need of a good cleaning...could not turn on fan in one bedroom because of dust piled up & hanging off blades,ripped bedspread in another room,pink mildew in corners of bathrooms,underneath beds were not vacuumed. Not sure why check in is @ 4pm since the room was cleaned so quickly.I would stay in this condo again if they guaranteed it to be cleaner.

  After driving 15 hours we went to the unit at 4:05 the unit. Was not cleaned yet. So we called the office and where told they would get on it and call us when it was ready. At 5:30 the unit still was not touched. We called and left messages for them to call us and no call back. Finely they started cleaning and we got in unit at 7:30pm. The units carpet is dirty and the units needs a GOOD cleaning! If unit is not going to ready at check in a call to let you know would be nice.

  We checked in and found a couple of things that needed attention. Everything was taken care of right away. If You are looking for a condo in this area this is it. Beatufil view clean and well taken care of units. We have already booked again for next year. You can walk to Pier Park for places to eat or shop and so many good places to eat right in this area. If you like to fish the Peir is a short block away. We had some friends visit and they are booking next year. Would recomed booking early if you want a beatufil place to stay.

  Facilities nice, location great, but no WiFi in unit???

  We rented two three bedroom units for our extended family of 10. We had plenty of space considering we had both condos. We came to PCB for the new years celebration. We live in atlanta and have our own beach house on Florida's atlantic Coast, but Pier Park and the variety of close activities made us choose this area. The building is a great location is you wish to walk to Pier Park. We wanted to see the early New Years Beach Balls drop at 8:00 pm for the younger kids and then have a good view of the midnight fireworks from the balconies. The teens liked the freedom of walking to Pier Park and seeing the large beach ball drop. We were able to easily walk back and forth to Pier Park - I would not recommend walking to Target or other stores further west though. It is a convenient to walk to the east boardwalk shops. Overall PCB and the general area were not too crowded. There were plenty of chairs at the pool - however it was January. I can see how if the building was fully occupied in the spring or summer that it could be an issue. There are not many chairs around the pool considering the number of units in the buildings. Having an end unit is worth the extra money - for us. We like the wrap around balcony. It feels (and is) more spacious. The rate was very reasonable but I do not think we would pay the spring and summer rates to come here. I think it would be extremely overcrowded and the units themselves are just not that nice. The builder cut corners when building these - considering at one time they sold in the 600 - 700's. Both of our units had inexpensive white tile in the foyer and kitchen, Furnishings were nice and beds comfortable. Both kitchens had standard 2cm granite and really inexpensive stock appliances. The cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms were about the least expensive you can buy. All the bathrooms had the frefab fplastic fake marble showers and tubs. Biggest issue with both units - no Wifi??? Seriously??? We failed to realize that they did not have it. We rent many houses throughout the year - Abaco Bahamas in the summer, Blue Ridge Mountains in the Fall and Spring, Napa Valley in the Fall, Beaver Creek in the Spring...For the last couple years we have never not had wireless available in our unit. Now I know to look and make sure wireless is available. The teenagers were complaining because they use their phones for practically all information these days. I bring my laptop everywhere to stay in touch with family, do banking, online shopping. It was really inconvenient to not have the information that I am used to on a daily basis. The owner needs to get up to speed with technology and offer wireless in the unit. Overall the building was nice, it was convenient to park across the street with the third floor walkover, location was great for proximity to Pier Park.

  The kitchen department gets an F. Lacking in utensils , beverage pitchers, pots and pans...don't expect to cook. The outdoor furniture is old pot metal and needs replacing. It is dangerous. The kitchen barstools are in need of replacement. The sleeper sofa is terrible to sleep on - like sleeping on a thin spring. The carpet needed cleaning.

  We were very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness in our room, considering the high price we paid for it. There were food crumbs in the couch and on the floor. There were also roaches in the room. The shower in the master bath had black junk all around the door which washed onto your feet during every shower. In one of the bedrooms the light in the ceiling would only work if you took the cover off of it and when we called to have someone to fix it they acted like it wouldn't be a priority even though there was no light in the room. We requested more towels because there were only enough for each guest to shower for one day so we were having to do laundry everyday, but no one ever brought us any. I was told by Best Beach Getaways that they would charge us $10.00 for any car passes over 2, but the management at Calypso told us that there was no charge for them and we could have as many as we wanted FREE. As far as Calypso as a whole, we were fairly pleased....especially with the location. However, the pools are too small and don't open until 9am. And it seemed that the tiki bar next to the pool stayed closed a lot more than it stayed open. I would probably stay at Calypso again, but will not rent through Best Beach Getaways nor will I rent this particular room.
