SPLASH is a one of a kind beach resort on over 400 feet of pristine gulf front on the west end of Panama City Beach, Florida. Enjoy shopping at Dillards, JC Penney and other specialty shops at the premier shopping complex at PIER PARK, see a movie at Grand Theatre or dine at one of the large selection of restaurants such as Back Porch Seafood or Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville.

With over 27 miles of award-winning beaches, Panama City Beach Florida's beaches earn awards year after year from many sources including the Travel Channel, Southern Living, Expedia, and even Dr. Beach as one... of the top US beach destinations. Panama City Beach's unique crystal white sand beaches and sparkling emerald green water are striking and many say the stretch of beach from Destin to Panama City Beach rival the world famous Caribbean beaches in their beauty. Throw in the pleasant year round temperatures and an average of over 319 days of sunshine per year, it is easy to see why Panama City Beach is a sun and fun seeker's dream.

The brand new Panama City Beach International Airport (ECP) opened, 2 years ago, provides an easy access to the condo. It is just 15 minutes away.

Accommodations: Condominium, 3 Bedrooms (KING, KING, QUEEN/QUEEN BUNK, QUEEN SLEEPER SOFA) and 3 full baths. That is room for 10! And, what makes this condo stands out from all others is that each bedroom has its own balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico!

This ocean front condo has the perfect set up for one big family or two regular size families. The décor is upscale that gives you the feeling of home being away from home. There is plenty of space for all your beach stuff - but that is not why you will pick this condo. You pick it because of the views – yes, the spectacular view of the emerald green ocean and sugar white sand and sunrises and sunsets from the living room, dining room and the balcony of every bedroom. You will find this is just the place to enjoy your morning coffee, listen to the sound of the surf, smell the sea or catch the dolphins playing in the Gulf.

The LIVING ROOM sofa opens up into a queen sleeper. There are great seating and a large screen TV so that you can relax and enjoy a little entertainment when you are not at the beach, at the pool, or at Pier Park shopping and dining. The TV has all the cable channels. There is a DVD player that lets you play movies when you are “beached out� or the high speed wireless to let you stay connected.

The KITCHEN is open and has everything that you need, so no matter whether you are cooking your specialty or just fixing grilled cheese sandwiches. The kitchen bar has bar chairs so you can grab a quick bite before you hit the beach.

The DINING AREA has a big table so everyone can have a seat at the table. And, of course you will be able to gaze at the beach while you share stories of the day’s adventure.

The MASTER SUITE has a KING SIZE BED with its own private bath . You get great views and access to the balcony right here. There is another TV with a DVD player and the same cable package.

THE 2ND MASTER SUITE is a “lock out� that also has a KING SIZE BED and its own private bath. It has a little kitchenette so that if you bring along grandma and grandpa, they will have their own private space.

The THIRD BEDROOM has a QUEEN OVER QUEEN BUNK BED. That is plenty of room for the kids or you can put mom and dad on the bottom and the kids on top. It works either way. And, of course, there is a full bath for this bedroom too.

The LAUNDRY area is located within easy access to help keeping everyone in clean clothes as easy as a breeze.

  We liked the unit however there are some areas of improvement for splash. They are
  1. The riptide pool cafe open sporadically
  2. The mini bowling alley was out of order
  3. The lazy river and water park temperature was very cold
  4. The attached wildlife did concern my family a great deal
  5. There was a domestic violence incident while we were there that required police to be involved. Not a good thing for my children to see.
  Next time we will probably look at another location. This is not reflective of the unit so that is clear.

  Splash is an outstanding family vacation resort that caters to the guests. The staff and management were extremely attentive to the needs of the guests. The resort provided a safe, beautiful and enjoyable environment in which to spend a vacation of a week, a month or more. We know we want to be back for two months next year because one month wasn't enough.

  My family enjoyed our stay at Splash. I have only a few comments---The lamp in the apt was broken in two. I touched it and it fell apart. There were several overhead lights out. Especially the one in the entrance made it difficult when entering after dark. The cook ware needs to be replaced. The large skillet was well worn and there was only one skillet. Other than just a few small things we had a wonderful time and will be back next year.

  air broke when we checked in, management company that takes care of condo def needs to be replaced. owner contacted us, very nice

  The only thing that I didnt like about our unit was... The washer made to much noise, & the heating element was going out on the dryer. It took about an hour & half to dry clothes. Also, the bunk bed needs new plywood for the top mattress. Everytime that our child turned over we thought she was going to fall down on us.

  Disappointed for the price and the fact that there is no refund

  We had a late arrival time because the carpet had to b shampooed due to last tenents spilling spaghetti sauce. Carpets still wet and slippery. Drapes hanging from rod in living room, broken end. The only three frying pans had no teflon left and in very bad shape.
  We did contact the property manager upon arrival, however the drapes were never fixed and just hung half off the rod. A maintence person came and delivered a new cook pot and 1 frying pan, which did help, but I returned 3 frying pans and it took some jugling to have only one pan for a week. The furniture had seen better days also, not the cleanest. Overall, the location is good and the end unit was a benefit, but for the cost and the issues going on, this was a disapointment. I would stay at Splash again, just not this unit.

  We enjoyed our stay there.We love the west coast of Fl. The only disappointments we had were the indoor water park , which is open to the ocean. When we arrived it was overcast and the wind blowing in from the ocean made it too cool for the children to play in the water park. A huge bucket in the play area that fills with water about every 30 seconds and then dumps on the kids below could be dangerous to small children.
