"Island Drum" is a beautiful, 3 bedroom 3 bath deluxe end unit in Tower I of Calypso Resort Towers. The views from almost every room will amaze you morning, noon or night. Pride of ownership is obvious throughout "Island Drum" Enjoy alfrsco dining by "the world's most beautiful beach" , sunbathe in the privacy or share magical moments with family and friends as the sunsets with amazing hues of gold, pink and violet on your private corner balcony. As the stars come our and the moon reflects upon the Gulf, you can almost hear the beat of an island drum. Pier Park (just across the street from Calypso) presents a fireworks show every Saturd...ay night during the summer. Relax on the balcony of "Island Drum" for the show, you've got a perfect seat.

The open design family room is special. The front of the living room is glass windows and sliders with perfect beach view, the east side and the dining room have several floor to ceiling windows to enhance the open, airy feeling. Thewalnut dining table and large granite breakfast bar proive comfortable seating for 10. There is also a wet bar in the dining room. The attracive and well furnished kitchen has plenty of storage, including a reach in pantry, granite counter tops and an inverted tray ceiling with dome lighting. The open design allows the cook to create famliy favorites without being separated from the rest of the family during preparation time.

The king size master suite has floor to ceiling glass with awe inspiring views of the Gulf of Mexico, a flat screen television with dvd player, a walk in closet and an on suite bath.

The 2nd bedroom, on the other side of the family room is a queen size bedroom with its own flat screen television and on suite bathroom. Futher down the hall, guests will enjoy having two beautiful adult size twin beds with yet another flat screen television. The third four piece bathroom is next to the Twin room and across the hall from the laundry room with full size washer and dryer. "Island Drum" has wifi service.

Calypso Resort Towers is a nice family resort, directly across the street from Pier Park

and the resort closest to the east side of the County Pier. Additional amenities are:

Additional Location Information

"Island Drum" is across the street from Pier Park and less than a mile from Frank Brown Park. There is a gated, parking garage with pedestrican bridge across the street from the resort. Public Transportation, Bay Town Trolley, is available on Front Beach Road in front of Calypso.
