I took My daughter down for Spring Break with girlfriends and the accomodations were perfect.
The bed was comfortable, although we did have to
move that sofa to watch the TV. The Majestic is Great Place to stay and I have always felt safe in their resort with my girls by myself with the their security at the front/back doors monitoring the bands and who comes in/out. The rate was good and its even better if wait to book 10 days within your stay you get a 30% discount, but you always risk not getting the room want. -

The beach was absolutely beautiful as always. However, when we arrived our key code was not in the lock box as promised. We spent several phone calls to every number we had and the operator who was very nice called every number she had. Finally we got the key code over the phone . This process took almost an hour.
the mattress in the condo was very used, really bad back support and made for miserable sleeping; it really needed replacing.
Our fire alarm went off after business hours and we could get any one at the Majestic Towers to do anything at all. We called Southern Rentals and they told us to take out the battery, Thankfully my husband was able to do this or it would have gone off all night.
Upon checking out we could not get the phone to check us out, as we were suppose to do.
The 12th floor view was spectacular which made up for much of the downside; but Southern Rentals needs communication capabilities to make it comparable to the view. We probably would not go thru Southern Rentals again, but would rent directly from the condo assoc. in order to have some in house service support.Response from Southern Vacation Rentals - 12/06/2012

Southern takes every opportunity to ensure that are guests have everything they need for their arrival to their well deserved vacation. We prepared all of our arrivals that were scheduled to arrive on Thanksgiving Day on Wednesday since our office was closed for the holiday. We did call the phone number listed on your reservation to ensure you had your keyless entry code to enter the condo upon your arrival. When the number was called, we did not receive a voicemail to leave a message. I do apologize if we may have had the incorrect contact information to speak with you. We also take all measures to maintenance our smoke detectors, but unfortunately they may need a battery replacement at the most inconvenient time. We did receive your request for the batteries and our maintenance team member was promptly there less than 24 hours of receiving the request to install batteries and remount the detector on the wall. Thank you for bringing to our attention of the mattress and we will certainly have that assessed to see if it may be time for a replacement.
We do hope that you will give Southern an opportunity to regain your goodwill and stay with us again on your next vacation.

overall a great vacation, just wish internet was included. Room was great. It's listed as a one bedroom, but really is studio. (I didn't pay attention to the pictures)however it was a great room for just me and me husband. Great views and great service. Hope to come back next year.

stayed other times was pleased with condos #1313 but #1208 needs some improvement and housekeeping. all amenities were good except hot tub out back did not work mentioned 4 times 3 different days to different staff people and issue was never addressed hope it gets fixed soon as many people were complaining about it.

this room was very clean and really nice. we really enjoyed our stay here the atmosphere is fun yet clean and secure. the only thing that we didn't like was the wristbands you have to have one for everybody coming into the hotel so if you have friends or bring a girl back to the hotel they wont be able to get in. this posed a problem for us because we had friends staying in another hotel so we couldn't really have them over for dinner or drinks because we couldn't get them past security. however all staff is really nice and helpful i would come back and stay again just not during spring break time.

Beach front and ocean view from the 12th floor of tower 1 was awesome. Sunsets from the balcony is a perfect stay for 2. We are planing a return stay in the spring.

Initially, we had problems with the door. The code given was incorrect, but we called and the code was reset by the rep. The unit itself was nice and comfortable but there were some issues. A cabinet in the kitchen was broken. The blankets were not clean, the top blanket on the bed was stained! The extra blanket in the closet smelled of urine! That was the most disappointing thing. The small sofa should be replaced because you sink into it. With such a nice unit, a better patio set would be nice as well. Other than those things, we were comfortable and the unit was nice. Oh and please fix the captioning on the TV, we could not remove it because the remote was a universal and watching TV with the captioning was very annoying. With these things corrected, I would highly recommend staying here to anyone and we wouldn't think twice of returning :)

The condo was so overpopulated and very noisy. We got very little rest, information, or service. The front desk employees were very rude. This was our first trip to the area, upon arrival, we approached the front desk and ask what direction we needed to take to get to our room. We were told to call our owners. We did not even know where to park and had traveled 14 hrs. We had no internet service, very little in the lobby, and very little after we paid for a day of internet. We had no cell phone service at all. The cabinets in the kitchen were falling off the hinges when we tried to open them. The noisy was horrible, we were up all night with very little sleep. The first day we arrived there, after 14hrs of travel, we had to pull all of our luggage through two buildings and a walkway, then to the elevator. The elevator area had a line of people waiting to board, no air in that area by the way. We waited for 45 minutes to get on the elevator. Our room was on the 12th floor, we had to ride elbow to elbow with other people in the elevator, and luggage, and no air inside the elevator. Needless to say, this was not an enjoyable stay for us and probably will not stay there again.

This was a fantastic vacation for both me and my now fiance(we got engaged during this stay)!!! The room being located directly on the beach and the constant sound of waves made it ever better. We love the beach, it is our favorite place to be! Thank so much for all your help in making this one of the most special memories we will always have!!

This was a girl trip and there were just two of us so the room was perfect!! My friend that went with me is planning on renting the same place again when she takes her son and his friend. Probably wouldn't try to fit more than 4 people.

This condo was perfect for a couple. The view was amazing. We had searched for weeks trying to find the best value in PCB or Destin, and this was hands down the best value we could find. The only complaint I can think of would be that the TV remote didn't work, but we didnt come to Florida to watch tv.

I sent my Daughter and her new husband to Panama City Beach for their honeymoon, after we stayed there 2 years ago. Renting the condo was very simple and the price is great. They had a wonderful time and the room was perfect for a new couple! The only thing that they were not very happy with was the patio furniture. They thought it could have been a better quality. But over all was a wonderful week for them and within walking distance to everything!

I was mistaken when on review it said that you don't rent to any one under 25 without parent. That didn't mean the that the whole place didn't. The condo was nice. I felt we couln't use hot tub. mabey the gaurds could be by elevators. As there was people actually vomiting and screaming foul language.

The room we stayed in was nice, clean, and just the right size for the two of us. We had a great view of the beach and fantastic sunsets. Location was great as well, close to Walmart, local bars, restaurants, and attractions and just minutes from Pier Park. We enjoyed running along the beach and roadside daily with all the beautiful scenery as well. Majestic Towers was a great place, the people were all very helpful to suggest places to eat (since we went in December a lot of places were closed) and visit. The only down fall I have with the condo was the fact that we had to pay 7.00 a day for the workout facilities, as well as for wireless internet (unless we were down at the Starbucks) and the hot tub wasn't open.But overall we had a great time and we hated leaving, especially the views we had every morning :)

My wife and I enjoyed this room for 4 nights. The room was clean, which is always important. It had everything you would need for an extended stay. If you are looking for a great room for two, I would recommend this to you. There are bunk beds in the hallway to the bathroom if you have "little ones" with you. The view was terrific, the wall facing the gulf was all glass from floor to ceiling and had a large sliding door for the balcony.

We loved the room. It was really nice. The rules, like no drinks near the hot tub and hot tub closing at 10:00 pm are crazy! My wife and I were without kids for the first time in years and wanted to unwind. The weather wasn't good for basically the whole trip and the hot tub was really the only way to be in the water and relax. I would suggest keeping an eye on the hot tub, but not treat grown adults like they are minors. One couple in the hot tub was told they couldn't cuddle and kiss by security. It was beyond ridiculous!

What I didn't like was the cabana's on the beach were way too expensive for daily rental.. I think in this economy, they should drop the rental. It was outrageous.
Also, at the pool, there really should be a lifeguard. It is so crowded all the time. And a bank of out of state newspapers such as the Atlanta Journal for sale every morning would be greatly appreciated.
We loved the little poolside restaurant. The food was tasty and the service friendly. The front lobby was always cool and clean and the desk people helpful. We never had to wait long for elevators and the security guard in the parking deck was most kind helping me locate my car one day. I forgot where I parked and he walked all over several decks with me until we found it (right where I left it the night before)
The exercise room was well equipped. The location is very central to everything.

Very nice place to stay! My only complaints about the condo: smelled of
smoke, there was a table that was broken when we got there but they picked it
up immediately after I called the leasing office. I wish that the bar was open
later for a light dinner poolside. When I booked the condo amenities listed
were the gym and internet access. Both are available for fees, not free! -

Since we did not own the condo or rent it through Majestic; we were treated like outsiders. We were not allowed to use some of the facilities; such as the work out facility. The staff was rude and catered to braty teenagers (owners kids) before they cared about us. We had a van with a cargo carrier on top and could not find a place to park. The staff told us to park a few blocks away and walk!! There was a big group of kids making a ton of noise on our floor and they tried to blame me and my 2 kids. They even threated to throw us out!! I asked for an explanation and they would not provide me with one. I would never recommend this place to anyone and will definitely never go back. The pool was so crowed there was not even room to swim; just enough room to stand in the water...The condo itself was tiny. It was called a one bedroom, but that was actually the living room. The couch was only big enough for 2 kids and the bunkbeds were tiny...

We are very sorry the on site staff at the resort treated you unfairly. Unfortunately they are not employed by us but we have approached the Homeowner's Association to immediately address your concerns so this does not happen again. The fitness center is available at a charge to each guest, no matter which rental company you rent through. If you had needed assistance, a call to the Southern Resorts Office would have alerted us and we may have been able to help. We list this condo as a studio on our website but are sorry if this was not made clear to you. This condo is perfect for the couple traveling with one or two small children. With regard to the pool being crowded, this is a very popular resort and during peak season some of pools may be crowded at times but there are several other pools on site to choose from.
