Lovely, quiet west end of the Panama City Beach area. The cottage is 5 houses from the beach. Beach view from the cottage is not blocked by high rises....you can see the beach from the street! 2 short blocks away from Thomas' Donuts, 6 short blocks away from the Carousel Market. Back Beach Road (Highway 98) is 3 blocks to the north. Highway 79 is about 2 miles away to the east. Great little neighborhood and lovely neighbors! You will love it here!

Enjoyed every moment in the cottage. There is no detail in the cottage left to chance. Never knew that an older, concrete house could be so very inviting, cozy, quaint and comfortable! And, the location of the cottage is perfect for a stroll to the beach...which is not crowded...and the gulf water is breathtaking! No place in the country has more beautiful beaches! All in all, highly recommend this cottage for the single looking for peace and quiet with convenience, or the couple who want to reconnect during an anniversary or birthday. Will definitely be back and look forward to seeing the owner, Dee, again! She's delightful!

We totally enjoyed our relaxing, quiet get-away in the hide-away cottage. It had everything we needed. The cottage is small but it lives large. We used the kitchen for breakfast and some evening meals. It worked very well for us. We also spent a great deal of time on the porch and on the deck. It was easy to walk to the beach and to Thomas Donuts. We met and talked with Denise, the owner. She is a delightful person. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in March and this vacation just topped off the celebration. I would recommend this cottage to any couple.

Enjoyed the time we spent at this rental. It was very well designed for such a small place and had everything we needed. Location was great and felt like we had the beach to ourselves most of the time. Loved all the little touches that was put into this place and it was very clean. Would stay here again.

My wife and I travel to PCB to visit family and stayed at Miss Denise's Hideaway cottage. What a great decision! A wonderful location with the cottage exactly how it is described. We wanted to be close to everything but without the traffic and neon and this was it. The cottage has all the charm of old style Florida with all the conveniences of today. We wanted for nothing. And we had the opportunity to meet Miss Denise, such a lovely lady with the greatest smile, so warm and accommodating. The landscaping with functional firepit was great and hats off to the housekeeping folks as the place looked as if it were built yesterday. We had the greatest time. Thanks.

My wife and I traveled to Laguna Beach in early October to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. The Hideaway Cottage was a perfect retreat before meeting up with a large extended family gathering in nearby blue mountain beach.
Denise's hospitality was evident throughout and the check-in/out process couldn't have been any easier. We were delighted with the beach proximity and the relative seclusion that the nearest access provided. We were so thankful to have a such an exquisitely crafted place to stay. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed and we felt like we were staying in a private suite at a luxurious contemporary hotel.
We stay in hotels regularly for work and were thankful to have the compliments of a full kitchen. The kitchen echoed the terrific design savvy exhibited throughout the cottage. I wouldn't change a single thing about the cottage or our stay.

We give Hideaway Cottage a rating of a+. This is a great place for two people. Whether you are newly weds or retirees married for fifty years, Hideaway cottage is just right for you. So often in searching the internet for vacation property you find 3 bedroom sites that sleep 8 or 4 bedroom places that sleep 12. But who needs all that space and the high price that goes with them when you are only a couple!
Hideaway cottage is a cozy 500, or thereabouts, square feet but it seems like so much more because it is so well laid out. Very few owners of vacation rental property would put into their places the high end amenities offered at Hideaway. Jen air cooktop and convection/microwave wall oven. Built in Sub Zero refrigerator with two freezer drawers and a Bosch dishwasher, Toto bathroom fixtures, a huge shower and two large wall mounted flat screen TVs. Oh, and don't forget the WiFi hookup. All of this for a very reasonable price, so much better than a cramped one room motel room that will charge almost the same price.
It is so easy to cook a good meal in this kitchen and there are four stools to belly up to the big island.
As senior citizens we really enjoyed this cottage because it was all on the ground floor, no stairs ! And not only was every attention to detail provided on the inside but also the outside with a screened in porch and a huge side deck with a BBQ. The yard is professionally landscaped and offers a fire pit.
Set back off the road the cottage is very peaceful and quiet and a quick walk to the beach. And if you have not yet experienced the beautiful white sand beaches of Gulf beaches you need to come see what you have been missing! All the action is just down the street so you can get the best of both worlds.
This is a place we will come back to year after year. So should you.

1st we must commend the craftsmanship, high-end finishes & great attention to detail into the remodel of this cottage. Its some of the best work I've seen in awhile. The deck, the porch and wonderful landscape (w/fire pit), made the outside, just as beautiful as the inside of the cottage.
Perfect spot from the beach, shops, and restaurants.
It's private, it's cozy, it's clean and we loved it!
Thanks for such a wonderful experience Denise!
Our only wish is that the weather was as hospitable as your cottage!!

My husband and I spent our anniversary at Denise's beach cottage, and all we can say is Thank You Denise! The cottage was even more beautiful than we could've imagined! From relaxing on the porch swing at night to enjoying the nearby beach in the morning- it was a blissful stay. We truly appreciated Denise's hospitality and her willingness to help make our stay perfect! We'll be back to enjoy this gem again very soon!

Hard to describe in words. Wonderful location. Beautiful setting. Perfect luxury. The cottage was the perfect getaway for my daughter and me to enjoy lazy summer days on the beach, walking distance to eateries and market, but away from the enormous crowds. Screened in porch or outdoor patio, unique and ideal kitchen to indulge if needed, updated with modern technology-able to maintain work and play with ease. Owner added personal recommendations to our stay with unique and perfectly suggested dining and shopping experiences. We struggled to leave but have found the perfect place to return for more wonderful memories.

We loved staying at the cottage. It was tastefully decorated and just the right size for the 2 of us. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and swing; along with the landscaping. Also, the beach was just a short walk away. When we were inside, we were impressed with the high tech kitchen appliances & decor. The best part was the quietness and seclusion from the crowds. We would stay here again and recommend to our friends and family.

I had a wonderful time at the cottage! It's walking distance to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet. Short driving distance to tourist attractions. Very beautiful beach & the cottage is sooo cozy!! I loved it!

Our stay at Hideaway Cottage was one of the best vacations my husband and I have had. The cottage was perfect - tastefully decorated with every amenity we needed. We wanted for nothing! The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the deck and screened front porch were well-appointed and private. The location was ideal - just a few houses back from the beach. But what really set our experience apart was the personal service we received from the owner, Denise. She was a true pleasure, answering our questions about the area, making excellent recommendations of local eateries and markets. And calling during our stay to make sure we were enjoying our vacation. We are definitely planning a return trip!
