indianaPerfect beach front stress reliever
Left on 06/08/2010 for a stay in May 2010
My son, daughter, son-in-law and their children (ages 1 and 3) stayed here for a week. The 2 bedrooms upstairs and one down worked perfectly for some privacy for all. The screened in porch was wonderful as it allowed the 1 and 3 yr old boys to view the water but not get in without supervision. Saw stingray, dolphins and lots of interesting fish when out in the water. The balcony on the upper floor was also relaxing to sit on. The beds were nice looking but not comfortable. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints.

SO nice! The house was comfortable and cozy, the neighborhood was quiet,
and the beach felt like it was ours alone.
WHAT a great way to spend a week! -

I have been traveling to the gulf every year for almost 20 years, and this is my favorite place on the beach. The house is spacious and tastefully decorated. It has all the amenities you need and what they do not have you can purchase within a few miles at fabulous shops.
One of the highlights is havng the sound of the fire crackling in the fireplace and hearing the ocean roar at the same time. The house is so close to the beach you can hear the ocean even if the french doors opening to the screened in porch are closed. You also can start each day sipping a cup of coffee on the porch looking out on to what appears to by your private beach. The walks on the beach to Rosemary or Alys in the afternoon are also a highlight.
The service at Garrett has always been great over the years. The only disappointment is not being able to bring our dog. -

TexasDriftaway was a good location
Left on 07/22/2009 for a stay in July 2009
The service a check in was good and the home was clean. The location is hard to beat. It was great to be right on the beach in a low traffic area.
Improvements to the process would be to enable door key code locks so I don't have to waste 30 minutes on my 10 hour trip home to drop off a key in the drop box. Many of the condos we rent have this feature and it is a real time saver. I also don't like all the nasty signs all over the house treating fines if I don't do this or that. Just put all this in the agreement when I check in. -

Cincinnati, OhioHome away from home
Left on 04/09/2009 for a stay in August 2008
We've stayed at Driftaway about 6 years, I believe, and keep going back because it felt like home the first time we rented this property. It seems to fit our family perfectly.
Unfortunately, we won't be renting this year. My wife and I are retired in our sixties, and our children have vacation limitations with new jobs. I tried to convince my wife to rent the place for the two of us for2-3 weeks or longer, but she doesn't want to go without the kids!! Will continue to try to convince her, but she doesn't want to spend the money if they can't be with us!
Thanks for the good times we've spent in the past, and hope to be back soon! -

Atlanta, GAGreat Thanksgiving Getaway
Left on 04/09/2009 for a stay in November 2008
This was our first roadtrip with our baby, we had a great time just getting out of Atlanta for a few days. My sister's family was with us as well and everyone really enjoyed themselves. We have rented several homes over the Thanksgiving week on the panhandle and this was a great one! House was clean, well equipped, and perfect for our group. Great location because you can walk to Rosemary Beach shops and restaurants fairly quick. The house sits very close to the water too which we all loved. We'd defintely go back!

My girls loved Sebastian!! ( the neighborhood Cat). My husbaand and
I rented this house along with two others right down the beach. Our
wedding was down the street within walking distance and beautiful
Inlet Beach as a backdrop was more than we could ask for. This house
is reallly just steps from putting your toes in the water, and loved the
chabby chic decor! -

I really enjoyed the quiet, uncrowded neighborhood. The house was comfortable with a very laid back decor. It was showing a little wear, but still nice enough to relax in. The screened porch and fire place were my favorite features. We had a crab boil dinner one night and ate at the picknik table on the porch. That was lots of fun with the sounds of the ocean as a backdrop. I would love to go back again!

Left on 03/30/2009 for a stay in July 2008
It was a beautiful home with a beautiful view, with the Gulf as your backyard. Just miles away from shopping in Panama, I know that was a highlight of my trip!! When I go on vacation again I will be giving Garrett Reality a call.

marietta, GAExcellent for kids
Left on 03/30/2009 for a stay in June 2008
Close to the beach, porch is screened it so kids cannot fall off, kids love this facility, you can leave items on the beach without fear of being taken. Very clean facility. Have rented 2 times so far and will rent again. Only one instance where the outside grill did not work. 2 hours later it was back in operation by excellent service from Garrett Realty.
