New OrleansQuaint, comfortable, but be careful
Left on 04/12/2012 for a stay in April 2012
The location is quiet and really nice while the house is a bit smaller and more worn than the neighbors which makes it stick out it was plenty of room and comfortable. The TVs are new and the other appliances and glassware worked fine. Our biggest problem was the pool was not heated even though we followed up to make sure it would be and they couldn't get anyone out to take care of it until the day before we left. Since we pretty much chose this house because of the heated pool (since we were vacationing a bit early in the year) we were very displeased with the service provided as we were limited to using the pool from about 1-4pm. Also there were no good quality pans or non-stick pans which made it almost impossible to make pancakes or anything that sticks. Having stairs in back to avoid going down the front and walking around the house would have been nice as well.

ArkansasSuper great location!!
Left on 05/30/2010 for a stay in May 2010
My husband and I and our 3 kids stayed for a week long visit and we loved the access to the beach and the private pool.
The beach was so close, only a short walk and was so close to Panama City Beach that we loved too!
My only complaint was that they could use some new, non stick pans and the check in should have been reversed.
early check in and a later check out.
Other than that I would totally recommend a week or even two week stay here!

Mattoon, IllinoisIt was great!

Overall, loved the house, the pool, and the location. It was very cute with all the "beachy" things, and we appreciated that. It was convenient to just walk across the street to go down to the beach....views of the gulf were good.
The house was clean overall, but could have used a little updating and a little more cleaning. There were no blankets available for the beds; bedding was dated; needed more pots and pans; traffic was noisier than expected at night. Would definitely stay there again, but would bring a few things along. Thanks for the replacement can opener which you brought so quickly! The pool was clean and wonderful! Your service was great! We would rent it again (and rent from Garett again). -

We loved the location (right across from the
beach) and the private pool. Watch out because
in the afternoon the sun can hide behind the
house and make it cooler in the spring.
The only complaint was the lack of seating. With
3 bedrooms sleeping up to 6 plus a sleeper sofa I
expected more than 1 chair and small sofa. Even
after the kids went to bed we didn't have comfy
seating for everyone. Overall, the house was well
kept and attractive. Thanks for an enjoyable time -
seeing the dolphins at the beach right across from
the house was a special treat! -

Long Grove, ILGreat house!

The house was very comfortable. Right across the street from the beach which was great with small kids. I thought being that close too 30-A would make me nervous but the house sits back from the road and was not an issue for us. The heated pool was great too but was not ready until Monday morning. But we thoroughly enjoyed it! Kitchen was nicely supplied with the necessities. We would stay there again!

We were very excited about this trip to this house. The location was great with easy beach access. The house however was in bad need of repair. The kitchen and bathrooms badly need updating. The outdoor furniture was all peeling and in bad repair. The TV and DVD player did not work and need updated. We did enjoy the pool which was well maintained but there was a terrible ant problem. We would not choose to stay there again.

Peachtree City, GAGreat location!
Left on 08/07/2009 for a stay in July 2009
The home was nice for the price; amenities were adequate. The location was ideal and it was great to have a pool in the backyard! We really enjoyed the view from the decks and the location. For the price we got, it was a great deal! The things I wish would have been different:
more cooking utensils, pots & pans, kitchenware
better washing machine and dryer
more mirrors... bedrooms could use mirrors
We did have an intruder come into our home while children were in the home, but the manager was so nurturing and sweet, she made it all better.

Atlanta, GACharming little cottage with a fabulous beach experience
Left on 07/16/2009 for a stay in July 2009
Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. For the price this place has it all! Pool, beach location, and charming accomodations along the style of an old florida beach cottage.
We enjoyed the friendliness of our neighbors, the beautiful water and the nearby places to visit.
The pathway provided a place to walk everyday nearby Seaside and Rosemary Beach afforded interesting places to visit and eat!
Definitely a keeper on the list of places to return! -

We have stayed at this house three different times and love it, it is across the street from the beach, but it is a super short walk and you have a view from the upstairs porch. the pool is perfect size and plenty of privacy. would really recomend this house!!!
