      Good

Left on 03/04/2013 for a stay in February 2013

Harborside Resort was very nice. My only complaint is they need to work on their customer service skills. We called two times for extra blankets and pillows for the pull out couch and they never brought them. We had to go and pick up the blankets ourself and they were horrible!!! They were unbelievably rough and scratchy. They really need to buy some new blankets. We were very disappointed. The blender was not working and we called to inquire about getting another one and it took 3 hours to get one. Everyone at the resort was extremely nice, however, they really need to work on their response time with problems. Customer Service should be their number one priority in the resort business. One last thing was Wi-fi. There was a $19.95 per day charge to use their Wi-fi. This really should be included with your stay.

      Atlantis Resort without the crowd

Left on 07/11/2012 for a stay in May 2012

Harborside provides great access to atlantisResort with the benefit of being able to get away from the resort crowd when you have had enough fun. Atlantis Resort is a vast property that offers a lot to a lot of people. The ability to get in and out of the resort is great when you want to have some quiet time. Harborside also allows you to eat in and get a little relief from resort prices. We exclusively ate breakfast in our villa. Access to the ferry is great when you want to go to downtown Nassau, Don't forget to check out the "Fish Fry" just a few minutes from downtown. $20 for a really fresh lobster dinner. $6 for a Bahama Mama. Yummm

      Great family trip

Left on 06/28/2012 for a stay in June 2012

No reason to leave the atlantis property. The resort has everything you need to relax or have fun. Great for kids of allages with numerous pools, water slides, lazy river and the "raging rapids." Great fun for adults too with a comedy club, activities, and the casino. When there you must eat at Virgils BBQ trust me on this one...Get the Brisket...

      Overpriced!

Left on 01/19/2012 for a stay in December 2011

The villa we rented was nice but for the amount of money we paid, it should have been awesome! The gentleman we rented this time share from couldn't have been nicer and more helpful! But when you pay that kind of money, you shouldnt have pull out mattresses with springs sticking out and bathrooms that aren't spotless! And what was most irritating was the extra $14.99 per day for internet service! Really? Couldn't have been free like most hotels?! You could use the hotels internet in the lobby for a max of 15 minutes per day if you wanted but because only one computer was working the whole time, it was impossible to use! And the time I went 5 minutes before computer use began and was told no, couldn't use it yet, was very annoying! I did love the walk to Harbor Village each day though! The yachts were amazing!

First time visit, won't be our last!

Left on 06/28/2011 for a stay in October 2010

Went as guests of friends who own time here. What a gorgeous place! Friendly staff, gorgeous setting, w/ comfortable accommodations. Restaurants are mostly pricey and high-end, but kitchens are fully stocked so we prepared most breakfasts and a few dinners on our own to save $$. The lazy river lagoon is sooo relaxing and yet exciting! Lines for slides were not short, but if you arrived early enough in the morning, it was a breeze. The ambiance and design of atlantis is stunning. Posh and opulent were words that kept springing to mind. We took in the comedy club one nite and were not disappointed. We'll have to save up for the next time, but we will definitely go back!

      Best Vacation Destination

Left on 06/27/2011 for a stay in June 2011

My family and I stayed at the 1 bedroom Deluxe Villa with a balcony from June 18-25. We had stayed in Building 5 3rd floor with a balcony. Was spacious villa and view of the ocean from the balcony. Building 5 is right by the swimming poll so for our 3 1/2 year old it was great since she absolutely loved the pools and beaches. There is a shuttle that takes your from the Harborside to all the towers. The Royal Towers have the best pools and The Cove is the nicest beach. We had dinner the first night at The Marketplace which is a buffet. But we were not entirely found of the food they served. The only thing worth eating was the stir fry that they make fresh for you and then the desserts and ice cream. So not worth $46.00 per person for just that. We also ate at Cafe D'Angelo, Marina Pizzeria, Carmine's and the Delicatessen which is at Marina Village. We highly recommend Carmine's so make your reservation for this restaurant at the beginning of your stay since it is family style portions so you will have leftovers for the next day. My husband and I walked downtown one day, but not worth it if all you want to get is souvenirs. We did the Dolphin Encounter at Blue Lagoon Island which was $98 per person versus the $148 at Dolphin Cay at The atlantis. Also, our daughter got her hair braided at Blue Lagoon and they did a great job and only $2.00 per braid. There are kayak and row boat rentals next to the Reef Tower which are very fun to do and kids love them. There are a few souvenir stands on the beach by The Royal Towers which you can negotiate prices for dresses and jewelry. The aura nightclub is awesome and one of the pools by The Royal Towers has a DJ playing so the atmosphere is pumping. Basically we spent alot of time by The Harborside pool or The Royal Towers. We are looking forward to going back since it is a resort for all ages. Enjoy your trip!

A wonderful place to take the family!

Left on 06/23/2011 for a stay in June 2011

This was our second trip to the atlantis. On our previous visit, we stayed in one of the towers. This time, we decided to try Harborside. There are 5 people in my family. My children range from age 7 to 19. Having a kitchen, and a washer/dryer made it feel like home. We stopped by the store on our way to the property. Picked up water, cereal, muffins, etc. We had breakfast in every morning except for one. The rest of the time, we ate pool side, or in one of the many restaurants. Know that coming to the islands, you will be paying quite a bit for meals. We were prepared for this. So much at the atlantis for the whole family! We all had a wonderful time! Can't wait to go back!

Wow, Luv the Harborside & Luv the atlantis!!

Left on 05/11/2011 for a stay in April 2011

We just took our 2 boys (12&14) and stayed at the Harborside thanks to a generous gift from my husband's family for his 50th birthday. My husband read several reviews from your site and we took with us some great advice. It turned out to be such a fantastic trip all I find myself doing now is plotting to go next year. We packed a small rolling ice chest full of dry goods with us that was such great advice. Our first day we walked over the bridge about 2 miles to the market, it was a beautiful day and after being stuck in airports and on planes it was just a perfect way to start our first day. Yes, the prices in the market were higher than in the USa but not much higher than I have see in some markets when on vacation in California or Hawaii. After shopping we took a taxi back and that worked out great. We had an end unit condo with great views of the Harbor and boats. We ate breakfast and had our coffee at the condo every day and cooked 3 dinners to save some money for our adventures. We went to the gym on property twice while we were there and found it to be nicely equipped. The pool, poolside bar and restaurant were nice.

The atlantis was awesome, the art work, waterpark, staff, aquarium, food options and tons of fun to be had. I love water parks and had so much fun with my family going down the slides, the Leap of Faith rocks! We took our ice chest in every time we went over and no one said anything to us. We spent the extra money and snorkled in the aquarium and loved every minute of it, the only problem was it was not long enough for this snorkleing family, so we also headed to the Lagoon with our own snorkle gear.

The next great adventure that my husband booked was on Power Boat adventures out to the Exumas, a little pricey but worth every penny. From feeding iguanas and sting rays to watching staff feed the sharks, snorkeling the reef and a fantastic healthy lunch, I just didn't want to leave. We brought our own snorkle gear and were able to get into the water right away. The staff was awesome and the beverages (that were included) were cold.

At first we said this would be a once in a lifetime trip but now we want to makes sure it is not once in a lifetime!! Can't wait to go back and really want to stay back at the Haborside.
