We have 4 villas at Sunrise Beach. We are located on the beach, steps away at end of pool to reach a powdery sand and see an aquamarine ocean. You are visiting Flipkey because you want an affordable, comfortable holiday without the pricing that comes with a hotel. You are visiting a tropically located home and you have choice here! Choose 9A 2 bedroom second floor, overlooking the pool and ocean, tropical inspired. Pick 12A 2 bedroom second floor, again overlooking the pool and ocean, Indonesian-Balinese inspired. Or stay at 12 2 bedroom, ground floor just next to pool with ocean steps away with Indian inspired decor. Your other option or you may want to combine is to pick 2 storey stand alone villa, alongside the same pool, with 3 bedrooms. All are listed on Flipkey and you can pay for your stay with

credit cards online. Simply send your requested dates in. Please ask for 10% discount off nightly rate if you book 2 or more at the same time. All villas have LCD TVs, unlimited no cost calling back to North America, router and wifi internet at no extra cost. 2 bedrooms have 1 King and 2 twins and pull out sofa bed. 3 bedroom has 1 King, 1 Queen and 2 twins. You have fully equipped kitchens and wonderful clean showers. All villas have been updated and renovated. We have a manager that looks after guests needs. You will be visiting a hybrid location. There is a hotel that is imbedded at the same property.

Our rates are lower than hotels naturally , because we do not utilize front office staff but our own manager. This is your tropical escape, the place to celebrate, get closer as a family, propose, have a wedding, renew and refresh yourself. Please contact us in case your selected time is not available.

We have other choices. There is an onsite bar and restaurant called Violas which provides great food and entertainment. There is no need to rent a car. You are minutes walk to Atlantis You can order groceries online or got to the Rui next door for snacks, wine , beer or liquor in their store.

You can snorkel, scuba dive, visit historic sites, do an escape day trip to a dolphin encounter or visit another island with Pink sand. However as you explore Atlantis you will be enthralled.

We are renewing on an ongoing basis and I spoke directly to the occupants of both villas personally that preceded your arrival and actually was inside with them. I asked specifically about any issues or concerned and they spoke highly of the amenities and presentation. We are always renewing and refreshing and your comment on issues that need attention is very helpful. During your stay a power outage affected the hot water heating system in 9A - that was notified to us a few days after by you . We acted promptly with our electrician who attended I believe 3 times, once to turn back a breaker for the AC , lights to ensure were functioning which they were - directed to switch and arrived back at 1130pm on Saturday night with 30mins notice to deal with the AC specifically. He had AC operational within 2 minutes as he called me personally to update status and I can see if it is functioning as I can read temps and know if wifi is working remotely. This all pertained to 9A. We have attentive dedicated staff who want to know any issue, minor or major as soon as it is detected so we can address it. This helps ensure the comfort of all guests. I agree food costs are high in the Bahamas-thanks to most being shipped and imported. However to eat out is easily double what it is back home and you have a mandatory gratuity of 15% and tax of 7.5%. Having a villa where you can prepare meals as an option presents great savings. Not having to pay for internet at $11 per day which the hotel charges is a bonus, On top of that free long distance to N.America is a big advantage. Our internet speeds are excellent because the router is in the villa itself. No condos provide loungers for the beach- we looked into that as an association , risk of them "walking away" is too high. We have fresh poolside loungers and umbrellas that are a positive impact. We do ongoing basic maintenance ,which is done on an ongoing basis. There are a large variety of condos at Sunrise and we pride ourselves on having very presentable and well decorated villas. This is proven by repeat visitors who selectively request the same place year after year. I am sorry the short power outage triggered the disruption you experienced at 9A and I regret your children were exposed to those wanting to sell drugs to them. We anticipate because public access to the beach is being closed as we speak at Sunrise that these incidents will fall dramatically and the beach itself will become more peaceful from this change. The new access is very much further from Sunrise itself. We have a very safe environment at Sunrise and there is a small gate from the beach area, which is unlocked for convenience reasons. If someone tries to traverse the grounds from the beach the interior gates curb interest in accessing the area as a shortcut, Because the villas surround the pool like a U shape coming from the beach when not staying at Sunrise ensures people in general do not come up and intrude. Normally people would use the property to get somewhere, not loiter in the pool area -hence not an issue. The drawer at 12A simply needed to be placed on their rollers and operated perfectly fine. We stayed at 12A very recently and it is one of our personal favourites! There were 2 pull knobs that took 2 seconds to reconnect at 9A which happens easily in any home as an item to repair. Some people use varnish on screws to stop them unwinding. That was fixed on notification. These are irritating issues and all of our locations have been completely renovated from the original with walk in showers , as well as all new kitchens. All floorings have been redone. Value wise peak holiday time is expensive at hotels or private rentals and certainly going at these times commands a higher cost from airfare and a place to stay. I personally find airfare prohibitive at Christmas , unless booked well on in advance. We reckon we pride ourselves on a quick response to issues, available by viber, what's app, cell and email. For repeat visitors we offer a 10% discount off nightly rates and if you have read the above review and read our response you can be assured you will be in good hands. Please mention having read our response when communicating about booking as we like to address any prospective inquiries so that they will know issues will be corrected. We don't take short cuts and a brand new hot water tank is in place and we have great plans for 2016 which we would love to have incoming visitors experience. We value comments and we love to get the challenge of concerns to keep us on our toes and never become complacent and value the frank concerns that are presented. We have 4 condos on site and they are all unique in design and presentation-Indonesian, Balinese , Indian influence, pastel tropical to darker tropical. We welcome future visitors to stay with us and we value you entrusting us in our resolve to ensure a comfortable relaxing stay at Sunrise Beach Resort.
