Charming apartment in a superb - and very safe - neighborhood within walking distance of Musee D'Orsay, The Louvre, Musee Rodin, Notre Dame, Tour Eiffel, The Seine, The Marais and wonderful restaurants, a boulangerie, fromagerie, and other wonderful shops.

We enjoyed the Paris apartment. It was a great location, as so much was within walking distance. Staying in an apartment was a wonderful parisian experience, very different from a hotel, and much more economical.

Spent a week here, including New Years Eve. With a 12 year old and a 14 year old we wanted to be able to eat some meals in and have the ability to do laundry. Beautiful, safe neighborhood; quick walk to Metro, Musee d'Orsay, Eric Kayser bakery (staff was very good with the kids, who were assigned the task of ordering breakfast each day), Monoprix (for groceries and cheap souvenirs like lotions, soaps, spices, etc), Deyrolles, BNP Paribas aTM, Laduree and the Louvre. Fully equipped kitchen made cooking easy. Washer and dryer meant we packed light. Comforters kept us nice and cozy on the cold winter nights (for summer travelers - no air conditioner tho). Could not ask for better amenities or a better location. Vip very easy to work with.

The location is ideal - not particularly because of Musee d'Orsay's proximity but because of the Eric Kayer bakery on the corner as well as the cheese shop and "epicerie fine." There were also a number of small restaurants, although these were mostly closed for the Christmas holiday. We had one problem with phone/internet/tv and it was miraculously resolved the day before Christmas. Notebooks of exhaustive instructions were very important to using appliances and understanding the nuances of the apartment's features. The one drawback is the size. It looks far bigger in the photo than it is, and although there are two bedrooms the living room and kitchen are tiny. There were three of us and we managed. Four would have been tight and I cannot imagine six people in this space.

We had a fantastic time in Paris! Your apartment was in an ideal location because we could walk to many of the places we wish to visit. It was very close to the Seine and we could easily catch the Hop-on-hop-off Bus and Bateau if we wished to go further afield. There was a fabulous little bakery and a small convenience store nearby. The apartment itself was quite satisfactory for our needs. It was fine for four adults but might be a bit crowded for six. The bottle of wine was a nice touch! We enjoyed the Impressionist prints that were displayed in the rooms. I would not hesitate to recommend your apartment at 56 rue Verneuil. We thorougly enjoyed the ambiance.
Can't wait to come back to Paris! Would definitely
stay in your apartment again.

If you enjoy walking to take in the sights, this is the perfect place for
you. Surrounded by magnificent architecture, museums, gardens,
great restaurants and shopping this makes for an easy, hassle free
holiday. We stayed with 2 children (one a newborn) and found the
place comfortable if not small. We spent so little time there it didn't
really matter. I had forgotten how bad the water pressure can be in
European apartments, especially once you are off the ground floor.
This was the only disappointing feature. Vacation in Paris were
delightful to deal with and made our bookings hassle free.

My husband and I stayed here with our daughter and another couple (five total). The apartment was perfect and it felt like a home, complete with books on the shelves. It was so nice to relax on the sofa while the baby slept in the next room - definitely impossible to do in a hotel room. The location was awesome! Not only were we steps away from the D'Orsay, but the local shops and restaurants made us feel part of a neighborhood.

This apartment was very well located on the Left Bank, next to Musee d'Orsay. It was very compact, but we fit 3 adults and 2 kids (they slept on pullout couch) without too much trouble. One flight of stairs only. They were fairly strict about noise in the info but we didn't get any complaints. We felt like we were living in a real french apartment in the centre of town, not a commercial hotel and we liked that.

Perfect location!! Clean and neat. We were 2 adults and 2 children. We walked and took buses everywhere. The bakery and cheese shop right across the street were an added bonus!! The cheeses were amazing and I don't think I've ever had a better raspberry tart in my life! Apartment was not large, but more than adequate since. The free phone calls were AWESOME as well to keep in touch with family!! Don't recall a DVD player which might have been beneficial. My converter plugs didn't work, but luckily there was a hairdryer. The service was excellent as well and there were people to contact in case you needed something.
