Paris Fan!!
Atlanta Ga USAGreat location in 7th District with Rue Cler around the corner
Left on 11/18/2012 for a stay in November 2012
This is a very good deal for the money. The Eiffel tower is right down the street about 3 blocks. The 7th district is a very safe old district made up of mostly well to do residential. There were two features of this apartment that were frustrating. The first was the bathroom, it is so so small and hard to navigate the toilet. The second is the initial shock of a one person elevator. I have never seen nor used a small one person elevator before, little claustrophobic. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is good.
There are two security doors in the lobby downstairs with a key and code for security. The apartment has a solid steel door with a heavy duty lock.
The Metro station is right around the corner along with a taxi stand. As I said before Rue Cler is a block away. This is a great street with wonderful cafes and shops.
The instruction book the manager leaves you with is confusing to use. The directions for the safe are incorrect. I had to get the instruction manual and read how to reset and program the safe. The wifi works after you try 9 or 10 times to understand the handwritten password that is so so long. Hint use capital letters. I will not be going back to this apartment but will recommend to others looking for good deal in great district. Next time I will spend more and move up the Paris apartment chain.

Left on 07/02/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We stayed for the full month of June. We found the room to be good in all categories. The bed was very comfortable. The pull out sofa bed had a very solid mattress so our guest slept very comfortably. The location is perfect. We walked to Rue Cler for most of our shopping. Metro nearby. The inner courtyard was very quiet. We found ourselves walking light in the room and talking low. We slept soundly. The thunder storms did offer some excitement. The gas oven was a little tricky in that it measured heat in Celcius. The combo washer/dryer worked OK but guaranteed very wrinkly clothes. We did have an iron. The triple door lock security made us feel burglar proof. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pans and small appliances. The bathroom worked fine. Plenty of hot water. The toilet is separate from the shower in a narrow stall near the door. Nice fixture with powerful flushing. The room was bright with large windows that opened into the courtyard. It is on the 5th floor. The elevator is very small (typical for Europe). The apartment felt large and roomy. We would definitely rent it again.

Jacksonville, FloridaAn outstanding property in a great location!
Left on 05/26/2012 for a stay in April 2012
Very nice apartment. No issues to report. Very comfortable bed and furnishings. Thankful for the elevator, even though my wife walked off the food and wine by using the stairs everytime. This is our 3rd rental from Vacation in Paris and all have been delightful. The entire process with them works like clockwork! Great bakeries, markets and restaurants very close. La Tour Marbourg metro station is half a block away and you can get almost anywhere in the core of Paris in 15 or 20 minutes by metro.

Our stay was complete with the comfort of home in our VIP apartment. The location couldn't have been any better. We were not only close to the Metro but to all the fantastic markets to help supply our very usable and quaint kitchen. It was wonderful to have such a soft spot to come back to after a day of walking and touring such a fantastic city. The manager Morgan was there from the start to make sure we had arrived okay and was only a call away if anything came up. We even became quite used to the tight elevator and stairway. Thank you for the bottle of wine to start us off and for being such a great rental agency to deal with. We will most certainly return!

Booking over the net was very easy. The staff responded to my emails very quickly.
They were especially helpful when our original apartment was withdrawn.
As we emerged from the nearby underground staton of Latour Marbourg a very short walk from the apartment, we were greeted by the sight of the Eiffel Tower light up in the evening.
We read about the elevator in the building being small, but still laughed when the door opened and we saw just how small it was. But a few trips later and the use of the stairs and we were ready to enter our home for the next week.
The apartment was wonderful. Everything you could need was there. We loved the bottle of wine and the French music CD. Once settled we headed to the nearby Rue Cler markets. The markets are only a few hundred metres from the apartment.
We tried and bought a variety of cheeses, breads, croissants and wine. And of course the usual food requirements.
The apartment is in a very good location being close to underground stations, The Eiffel tower, Invalides, Ecole Militaire, shops, banks and restaurants.
Our adult daughter was with us and said the sofa bed was fine, although we all would have like fatter pillows.
The bed in the main bedroom was very comfy.
Our week stay was fabulous, and I would recommend both the apartment and the Vacation in Paris staff.

Left on 05/22/2009 for a stay in January 2007
We stayed at 7 Ave de la Motte Piquet on our first visit to Paris and it was perfect. The apartment was very modern, tastefully and elegantly furnished, and beautifully equipped for our every need. It was a perfect location from which to come and go each day and to experience the beauty and culture of this vibrant and historic city from the perspective of living as the locals do.
We walked daily to the nearby rue Cler market to buy our bread, cheese, wine and other delectable goodies. We lunched with the Parisians at the tiny patio restaurants. We walked to the Eiffel Tower and the Invalides and we used the convenience of the Big Red Bus to see more distant sights. Rather than dine out at night we were always delighted to come back to our chic apartment and relax; it was "our home" in Paris.
Our experience was one that we often talk about, have talked to our friends about, and will always have treasured memories of.
It was a pleasure to deal with the representatives from Vacation in Paris. The keys to 7 Avenue de la Motte Piquet were shipped to us prior to leaving on our trip and all we had to do was arrive at the apartment, open the door and settle in. The bottle of wine and fresh flowers on the kitchen table were a lovely touch. The welcome call from the local manager to say that he was only a phone call away if we needed anything was appreciated.
Thank you Vacation in Paris. We give you the highest recommendation for your efficiency, excellent communication and first class service.

Left on 05/22/2009 for a stay in September 2006
My two girlfriends and I stayed at the quaint and wonderful apartment. The location is great and we really felt like we were "living in Paris" not just visiting. The bed was fabulous, so comfortable and cozy. The free phone calls to the states were such a plus for my friends as they were visiting from the states. We got such kick out of the tiny elevator. Lots of laughs and a spectaculor time!

Brisbane, AustraliaConvenient Paris Apartment
Left on 05/14/2009 for a stay in August 2007
We enjoyed a week in this apartment, which is close to two Metro stations and the local markets. The apartment is compact but well-organised and very comfortable for a couple. It would be a bit cramped with an extra person. The facilities are modern and adequate, although the saucepans were rather small. A bonus is air-conditioning for hot summers, but we did not need to use it. We arranged to telephone the manager/owner before our arrival, and he met us there with the keys - very convenient.
Don't expect the downstairs restaurant to be open if you go in the French summer holidays!
Would be very happy to stay there again. Much better and more economical than a hotel.

Sydney AustraliaThe Real Paris Experience
Left on 05/12/2009 for a stay in December 2007
Our family of 4 spent 5 nights in this lovely apartment during our 6 week European holiday. We felt it gave us a real Paris experience and was much more enjoyable than staying in a hotel. It truly was the highlight of our trip. Each morning we walked 2 minutes down the road to the Boulangerie and bought our breakfast to take back to the apartment.
The apartment was tiny but clean, modern and welcoming. The children loved the tiny elevator. We had an easy walk to the Eiffel Tower, Seine,Rue Cler & Les Invalides and caught the metro- 2 minutes from the door- if we went further afield and small legs were tired.
We were nervous about receiving the keys the week before travel by post but they arrived as promised. Equally nerve racking was return posting the keys in an unfamiliar language and postal system - it took a patient postal worker, English/French dictionary & about 20 minutes, but they were successfully returned.
We would chose to stay here again and have recommended it to friends.
