Adelaide, AustraliaCosy but with everything we needed
Left on 11/03/2012 for a stay in October 2012
Beds were comfy, including the pull out bed for our second child with good facilities (although the washing machine is very confusing) and in a fairly quiet location in a residential street. You are in walking distance (5 mins) tto local shopping/ restaurant strip and about 7 minutes to either Louve or metro station and there is a little bakery and supermarket at the end of the street. There was lots of information about Paris in the flat and it was lovely to come home to. The stairs are quite steep for older people (and luggage!) and ringing when we arrived was challenging as we had phone issues (can get around this by being sent the key in advance which we couldnt do as we were travelling for 2 weeks prior). Great place to stay and Vacation in Paris were very helpful and professional.

Winnipeg, CanadaGreat apartment for young children
Left on 03/07/2011 for a stay in February 2011
A good location near a market street and playground, restaurants and bakeries. We were travelling with children aged 2 and 4, and the apartment was quiet, clean and pleasant. Easy access to Metro, RER train (we went to Paris Disneyland one day), the Louvre.

TorontoAmazing!

We loved the appartment. We stayed there for one week. It is quiet, well situated, close to everything. Appartment rental is the way to go when one goes to Paris. There was a least 30 guide books, maps, magazines about the city in the appartment, lots of dishes, towels ect. It was very nice to come back "home" after a day of museums and shopping.

Near the Louvre and Place des Victoires
Pittsburgh, PACentral, quiet location
Left on 08/05/2010 for a stay in July 2010
Our family of five stayed here for four or five nights, arriving by plane and then taxi. The rooms enabled my husband and I to sleep separately from the children, with the younger children in the twin beds and the older one on the sofa-bed. In this location, we could get a good night's sleep and bring in fresh cool air from the windows on both courtyard and street sides of the apartment (it was summer, and the apartment was not air-conditioned as far as we could tell). We could walk and quickly arrive at the Louvre for a visit or to use the metro station there. In the evening, my husband and I could have a good meal out together just a block away from the apartment while our older child babysat the younger ones. So, the central location was really great. The kitchen and bath facilities were adequate for our needs (e.g., simple breakfast and dinner) and clean. We only had to go up one flight of stairs. The security system seemed new and very good, although the door-locks to the apartment itself could use some updating. We liked the ease and reliability of the rental service (payments, keys, etc) and the quiet and central location. We feel that the single most important update is to add Wi-Fi for smart-phone and laptop users.

LOVED this flat. While it's small, it has everything you need. The location is great. Takes no time to walk to the open market. Great upscale shops - nice area. I was with my 70+ mother and she felt very safe. To the owner: A working radio would be nice, and maybe a DVD player not a VHS. However, we did not spend that much time awake in the flat! Warning: there is no number on the door of the building. We asked the nice man at the electronic shop next door and he helped. I would reccomend this without any hesitation. Did I mention we LOVED it!!

Sydney, AustraliaVery comfortable apt in a great location
Left on 11/12/2009 for a stay in October 2009
The apartment was very quite with double glazed windows. The kitchen was small but very cleverly thought out and we were able to cook very nice meals. The apartment is in a fabulous location and has every thing you need to have a great holiday in a wonderful city. The TV is almost non existant so if you have little children take a laptop and your own DVD's. This apt is great value for money. It was also surprisingly roomy for such a small apt, once again very clever use of space.

We absolutely love love loved our stay in this Paris apartment. It was within easy walking distance to so many sights and the Metro, which we took frequently. Very quiet at night, and every morning we walked around the corner to the bakery to get our fresh coissants and coffee. "Vacation in Paris" was a pleasure to work with; we will be booking this apartment on our next stay. Merci!

Chicago, ILLove the service!!!

Before I get into the apt., I cannot say enough good things about VACATIONS IN PARIS. THEY WERE GREAT!!! Very professional and provided great instructions and support. I would use the service again!!!! I've since recommended them to friends who have also enjoyed their services.
Now, for the apt....
Good points first... If you know Paris then this is a convenient location. It's a few blocks off the beaten path however once on a main road you're central to everything. Close to the Louvre and a couple of blocks away in one direction is a lovely street market on the weekend and in the other direction is the restaurant Le Grand Colbert (in the movie Something's Gotta Give). There's a "corner" market and a couple of little cafes w/in a block as well.
Fair points.... The apartment is a nice size and in relatively good condition by European standards.
Some issues....The apartment is not as big as it looks or as described. With two adults and one grown child it was a tight fit. I would not recommend more than four persons. Lastly, the apt. was "clean" however, detailed dusting, etc., had not been done in years (as evidenced by a very heavy layer of dust on the silk plants, drapes, etc.), and the upholstery on the loveseat had not been cleaned in a long time. Also, figuring out the heating in bathroom was a little tricky at first.
Overall, I was very disappointed at first with the location and the apt., BUT after a couple of days the place began to grow on me. I'm not sure I would rent that same unit again however I will definitely be using VACTIONS IN PARIS/Flipkey.
