Very chic, nicely renovated Paris holiday rental apartment that features a large private patio with lots of greenery! There is even a showcase glass enclosed "green aquarium" inside the flat, with more green garden type plants, to make you feel "surrounded" with nature… This apartment was renovated with ultra-chic and tasteful decoration, sure to please all! The Marais area is full of specialty shops and restaurants and this is a prime location directly in front of the famous St. Paul Church, commissioned by Louis XIII and completed by 1641. This church i...s one of the oldest examples of Jesuit architecture in Paris.

This is a very quiet, off the street- on the back side, 32 m 2 Paris vacation apartment (@342 ft 2 ) with an additional 9 m 2 (@100 ft 2 ) on the outdoor wooden terrace. It has a separate bedroom which includes a double size bed, a kitchen with several appliances, modern style shower with ‘rain water’ or a normal jet water flow, and ingenuous ‘in closet’ sink, plus the WC is separate for easy use by all. There are large floor to ceiling glass partitions/windows, which allow the green terrace area ‘into the house’, plus they open up the complete living area. If this were not enough, the property owners have even put in skylights, which allow more light and openness into this vacation home in Paris! There is a comfortable sofa sleeper for 2 adults in the living room, for a total of up to 4 people that can share this beautiful apartment. There are enough chairs inside or outside to enjoy your meals or just relaxing to share stories about your Paris adventures.

You can cook in the small kitchen, or just bring items to reheat or store cold in the refrigerator. Purchased all new in May 2008 is a microwave oven, double burner stove top, coffee maker and kettle, plus all the dishes and cutlery you will need.

Enjoy this special area, so close to many attractions like the shopping district of rue de Rivoli, the Marais and Place des Vosges neighborhoods. Plus, you are just a few minutes stroll to the banks of the Seine and the 2 small islands in the river, where you can visit Notre Dame Cathedral. The apartment building is conveniently located right by an entrance to the main Paris metro line, line 1. There's even a merry-go-round next to it for the kids! You are less than a block from a hidden gem in Paris, a small tree lined square, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, also perfect for relaxing, - Place St. Catherine’s.

This is of course a very comfortable and functional apartment. Please note that in order to take the pictures, a wide angle was required, so some space may be a bit smaller than they appear in the photos. We also wish to note that the outdoor small garden area is superb in the summer and nice weather; in winter of darker months it may appear a bit ‘uninviting’. It does always provide a more ‘open' feel to the apartment though. The bathroom is small and has sliding doors that open directly to the bedroom, so does not provide complete privacy. Because both the bathroom and WC room do not have windows to exterior, they can at times seem a little ‘humid’. Some of the outside areas and especially skylights are cleaned by the building maintenance company. In general we wish to add that while very comfortable and functional this property is not in the pristine state it was when the pictures were taken, and has been ‘worn a little’. It will be clean and spotless of course.

  Very small,but on the ground floor. Located in the Marais convient to the Place de vosges and the Bastille. Many cafes and bistros. Bus stop directly in front of the street door. Took the bus every where didn't have to deal with subway steps. Small court yard with bistro table.

  Just spent 6 nights here and had a wonderful experience in Paris. Although the apartment is small ( as I am sure most apartments are in Paris) it was very well equipped and oh so convenient to everything. The metro is across the street as is a grocery, bakery, and cheese store. The cafes and restaurants in the area were great.
  We couldn't figure out how to use the stovetop but found the portable one worked just fine for the little cooking we did. The apartment could get a little stuffy unless we left the door to the patio open. It was amazing how quiet it was at night.
  For first time visitors to Paris this location was fantastic.

  This is a repea rental for us. I cannot say enough about the location and th nearby services. apt.is small but compact and very well equipped. It is nice to have the W.c. outside of the shower room as it doesn't disturb a sleepingpartnerif nature calls during the night. The apt is very quiet though this trip they wee installing an elevator in the building and the workmen did make some noist but as we were leaving and they were gone when we got back it did not disturb us in the least. The courtyard even inNovember was a pleasant place to relax with a glass of wine.Several good bistros very neaqrby . I did not use the washer becaue I know how slow European ones are and the laundramat is right next door. I would not hesitate to recommend this apt and also Vaation in Paris . They are a joy to deal with!!

  Excellent property, while typically small. it has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic with access to everything from Metro to some of the best dining in Paris. Big bonus with this property is the open courtyard, very private, where you can have a wine (or 2) and a baguette and relax after seeing the sights of Paris

  This is a charming apartment is a wonderful location. Less than a city block away are great bistros with all kinds of food. You can easily walk to the Place de Voges where there are more places to eat or relax, a wonderful bakery right across the street, and a metro stop and taxi stop at your doorstep. The bed was very comfortable, and the outdoor courtyard was great for sipping wine after a hectic day in Paris. The only problem we found was that the hot water is not very plentiful, so we had to wait between showers. Also, be sure to bring a clock, as ther is none in the apartment. Don't be put off by the hallway, once you open the door you are really in Paris!
