      Great Location, Very Good Value

Left on 09/15/2011 for a stay in May 2011

My wife and I had been to Paris once before, but only for a couple of days. I wanted to take her back for her 60th birthday and this time stay a little longer. I heard about Vacation In Paris on Rick Steves' Web site and here on Trip advisor and spent a couple of months looking at the Web site, before deciding on the St. Honore apartment.

Dealing with VIP was very easy; we were able to pay by check in us dollars (although you can pay by credit-card via the Web as well.) The key to our apartment (along with instructions) arrived about two weeks before we left.

The apartment was pretty much as it appeared on the Web site (although everything appears smaller in person). It was clean, and everything worked just fine. The best part, though, was the location; a half block from the Louvre, right in the center of everything.

The only disappointment was that the beautiful church across the street was being renovated (something that happens continuously to all of the buildings in Paris), so we didn't have the beautiful view that we'd hoped for out of our windows. Still, though, it was a delight to spend a week in an apartment, compared to a hotel room. If we go again, I'll definitely do the same thing.

      Wonderful apartment in Amazing location!

Left on 09/15/2009 for a stay in September 2009

This apartment was perfect for us in everyway. It fit our family of three nicely, was clean and updated. The location could not have been better, we could walk everywhere and when we were tired of walking we just took a quick break at the apartment before going out again! The balcony was the best for people watching! We even got to watch a wedding take place, it was great fun. If you are heading to Paris, this is the spot you will want to call home!

      A little bit of Paris

Left on 08/13/2009 for a stay in July 2009

The apartment was much smaller than I thought it would be but it was absolutely wonderful for our seven night stay. It comes furnished and is quite comfortable. The location was incredible. Our only challenges were working the washmachine/dryer and the balcony was a little disappointing as there was just a tiny space with one chair and no plants (needed a box of gereniums). However, we did just fine hang-drying our clothes on the rack and we would have felt very conspicuous sitting on the balcony anyway since everyone from the street could see you. All in all, it was perfect for our visit and I would absolutely stay there again. We had such a lovely time.

Very Nice Apt. - GREAT Location

Left on 05/25/2009 for a stay in May 2008

This historic, charming apartment has a great location just blocks from the Seine, Louvre, Metro and others. The neighborhood has everything close by - restaurants, cafes, grocery, bakery, laundry facilities, shops, etc. We loved the balcony and having the old church across the street. A useful information book was on site and a contact person was available to answer our questions. The only negative was the apartment washer/dryer was broken, but laundry facilities were just around the corner. Thank you, Vacation In Paris; we loved the apartment and you made the rental process so easy. We hope to stay at the apartment again! Highly recommend!! You'll love it!

Excellent Value for Money Paris Rental

Left on 05/22/2009 for a stay in June 2006

With 3 adults and 1 child, this Paris rental was the best accommodation we had going through Italy and France. The arrangements made with Vacation in Paris was the most convenient as the keys were mailed to us before we even left the Philippines. The location was great, walking distance to the Louvre (which was excellent as we found out that you need more than one day to enjoy this phenomenal attraction), the Seine, Latin Quarter and public transportation. The apartment was just the right size for us in fact we did not even get to use the bed in the loft. It had everything we needed except for the manual of the washing machine :-) Overall I thought the apartment was an excellent value for money especially in a city like Paris. Merci Beaucoup

      Perfect Paris Location

Left on 05/13/2009 for a stay in April 2007

I had a perfect month of April in Paris. The location was in the heart of the city, and everthing was cose by or an easy Metro ride away. I spent many hours on the small balcony watching my neighborhood. The apartment was lovely and well appointed and any small problem I encounterd was taken care of quickly. I can't wait to return.

      Great Experience

Left on 05/13/2009 for a stay in June 2008

When we began planning our trip to Paris we first looked at hotels. OUCH! Very expensive. Then we ran across this property. The cost was about a third of what a nice hotel costs. The location is fantastic. A brief walk to the Louvre, the Seine, a great little grocery store, the metro, a taxi stand and many nice restaurants. Totally enjoyed having coffee every morning out on the balcony overlooking the quiet street. The whole rental process worked smoothly. No hassles at all. Given the chance to go to Paris again, we would very likely try to get this apartment again, or another from the same company. Having a kitchen was great. We stayed for 8 days (dad, mom and teenager). We felt safe and secure in the neighborhood and in the apartment.

      Gorgeous apartment, great location.

Left on 05/13/2009 for a stay in January 2007

I still remember opening the door of this beautiful apartment, weary from the trip on the Eurostar with my husband, six year old daughter and seven month old baby and feeling such a wonderful sense of "We're home". Our daughter ran around excitedly, whilst my husband and I did something similar but with slightly less noise. The apartment was so divine, so typically French - everything we had hoped for and more. The view from the balcony was of the lovely cafes, patisseries and boutiques below. we found the position a godsend as we found we were able to walk to everything. When our destination was too far to walk, the Metro was around the corner. Great eateries were all close by, in fact, there was a great pizzeria which we frequented most nights (as we knew the kids would eat it) just up the road. An easy walk back to the apartment with weary children ready for bed.
I can not recommend this apartment and the service we received from Vacation in Paris more highly.

I cannot say enough good things about this apartment and about the service. Our family of 5 traveled to France, Italy, England, and Ireland. This was, by far, our best experience. A wonderful service, a great apartment in a fantastic location. When we got home we told our relatives about it and they used the same service. Highly recommend. We can't wait to go back. It was one of our best memories.

      Terrific Value

Left on 05/12/2009 for a stay in June 2006

This was a terrific apartment within one block of the Louvre. It has a small balcony that overlooks a quiet street. There were five of us, so we utilized the pull out bed and a small loft where my young son slept. We found the apartment expectedly small for five but it was very clean and functional. The pictures were exactly as you find it. It had everything for us to cook small meals and wash our cloths. We found everyone involved very friendly and helpful and had no issues with renting. We certainly would rent either this property or one like it again from Paris Apartments. Well worth the price.

No place like home? Well, you've never stayed here!

Left on 05/12/2009 for a stay in December 2007

My husband and I spent a week in Paris for our honeymoon in this
lovely apartment - a stone's throw from the Louvre and some of the
best shopping and bistros the City of Lights offers. I never thought we
would be able to find an affordable apartment to rent for our 7 days
there. let alone in this incredible neighborhood on the Right Bank.
Nonetheless, I gave it a shot and found that a hotel room - in the
same neighborhood - was quite expensive. This apartment was
perfectly comfortable for the two of us, we were able to cook for a
couple of meals (husband is a chef), and even entertained friends from
Japan who happened to be in Paris at the same time. The balcony is
small but still accomodating - two seats, a glass of wine, a cigarette,
a newly wed couple enjoying the scuttering about of the city below?
Even the rainy weather couldn't dampen what wonderful times we had
while staying in a place that felt - if only for a week (and in my
      dreams) - quite like home.

Left on 05/12/2009 for a stay in March 2008

We had a lovely stay at this apartment while on a 2 week European honeymoon. The apartment was in a great location and had tons of charm. The neighborhood surrounding it is lovely and the balcony is prime for people watching. The bottle of wine was a lovely touch as well.

We have now stayed at this same Apt 2 different times. We have also stayed here during the Christmas holiday of 2007 and we have been very pleased during both times of the year.
As stated the location can't be beat. It is the most central location in Paris that you can stay at, all areas that you want to visit are within a short walk. It is hard not to want to keep coming back to this great City and in doing so stay at this wonderful Apt and its great location again.
