We were very happy to stay at that studio, we feel our self at home over there. And I would like to underline one more time that I like to communicate with VIP staff. You, guys, are very friendly, precise and attentive in your response to customer requests!

This was the third time booking our Paris rentals with Vacation In Paris. The company itself is quite good, very reliable, and efficient, so no complaints and no regrets; we will definitely use them again.
The apartment itself boasts superb location of the picturesque rue des Carmes with the breathtaking view to Odeon, a few steps away from Maubert Mutualite and basically to everything else one wants to see and experience in Paris. The apartment itself is quite tiny, and we mean by the Parisian standards. Also, quite a few things need renovation; the level of upkeep won't let us to rate it more than three stars. The lack of Wi-Fi is pretty inconvenient too. One shall also be aware of the pretty high noise level caused by the late night revelers, quite often extending into the wee hours, and though it is expected from the Quartier Latin neighborhood. it is a bit too much.
However the location and the rather affordable price are the two key factors that made us to decide to 'recommend this vacation rental to a friend.' -

Los AngelesI loved it!
Left on 11/10/2009 for a stay in October 2009
No 19 is a charming, small flat, the location is great, it is an extremely short walk to Notre Dame and Ile de St. Louis, the Metro Maubert Mutualite is 2 very short blocks away, there is a fabulous patisserie/boulangerie and a cheese shop right by the Metro station. The flat was clean,
plenty of towels, bed was comfortable, the shower, although tiny, worked very well, with lots of hot water and good water pressure. The students congregate at the ZigZag Cafe below, and you can hear them well into the night, but they were happy sounds and I liked it. The only thing I did not like is that the front door doesn't close easily, but that is a very minor issue. I highly recommend this flat. -

Winchester, VirginiaNice apartment in a great neighborhood
Left on 05/21/2009 for a stay in November 2007
Nice one-room studio apartment with a small bathroom and kitchen. Very comfortable bed (it was either a full or queen-sized quite comfortable for two). Kitchen had all the appliances we needed. Bathroom was a little cramped, but sufficed. Apartment sits a couple of floors above a small bar/cafe, so there was occasional noise, and the owner should definitely consider a better sound dampening window or shade. Best part of the apartment is the neighboorhood -- just a couple of blocks from Place Maubert in the Latin Quarter. I would definitely stay here again.

Boston, MassachusettsGreat location

The studio is well situated for the tourist in Paris, within walking distance of metro, RER, la Seine, grocers, markets and just downhill from the Pantheon. My husband and I stayed here before the studio renovations, and we found the facilities adequate, though the bathroom required brighter lighting. The main caveat is the noise from the downstairs bar/cafe, where activity continues into the wee hours--not bad if it's winter and the windows are closed, but in the summer ... !

MaineSmelled like smoke
Left on 05/12/2009 for a stay in April 2008
This studio was OK, but our stay was essentially ruined by the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke in the apartment. All the bedding and furniture was impregnated with the smell, and it made being at home in this apt. pretty unpleasant. We had to open the window all the time, and since it was pretty chilly outside, that wasn't an optimum solution.
The smell aside, the apt. was nice enough for its price. However, I think in the future I will prefer to spend a little more money for something nicer. -

Montclair, CACozy apartment in great location
Left on 05/12/2009 for a stay in December 2007
This quiet, cozy apartment is in the old Latin Quarter of Paris, just a block from the oldest building (early 1400s!) of the University and two blocks from the Pantheon. The nearest Metro is about two blocks in the other direction, where there is also a weekly open market and a smattering of small, but very good, pastry, bakery, cheese and meat shops. Just another couple of blocks away is the great student area of St-Michel, with its wonderful street food, Notre Dame, the Sorbonne, the great medieval museum, etc. Especially for a history buff, couldn't find a better location. The apartment was very comfortable and clean, with a nice bottle of French wine awaiting my arrival. Everything worked exactly as promised in the apartment. I'm not sure where the third person would sleep, but it's certainly very comfortable for one or two. The kitchen is adequate for preparing some nice meals with all those fantastic goodies from the outdoor markets! Couldn't have been happier.
