Located between Heaven and well.......Heaven! This is the best of St. Germain area and Luxembourg Gardens on the Left Bank! What a great location, making walks to most major sights a breeze. And what a handsome apartment it is! A spacious 54 m 2 (580 ft 2 ), which is in, tip top condition having been remodeled not too long ago. Maybe the first eye catching feature is the extra long solid oak wood dining table, which has a long bench on either side, making it so versatile and practical for everyone. Besides plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the meals, you ca...Read more

Left on 02/22/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We stayed in this apartment on Rue Guisarde for a long weekend in February, 2012. What a great apartment! It was our first time in Paris. The apartment was large, clean, and in the middle of it all. There were 20 or more restaurants within a block of our apartment. It was a little noisy at night, but we couldn't hear the noise from our bedroom. Markets, the metro, and all sights were within walking distance. We brought our Ipad and found recommendations on Tripadvisor on different restaurants to try. We were a few blocks away from a market. 2 of the best chocolatiers were within 2 blocks of the apartment with macarons to die for. Vip was really easy to work with. I would tay here again without hesitation, and would recommend this specific apartment to friends.

Brooklyn, NYwhat's not to like?

The location couldn't have been better - smack in the middle of St. Germain, with about 100 restaurants within 2 blocks, a bakery and gelateria right across the street, Monoprix and the subway 2 blocks away.
The apartment was really nice. Very comfortably furnished, with big rooms and comfortable, high-quality bedding. The living room had a comfy couch and big flat-screen TV. The bathroom was excellent, with great water pressure. The kitchen was very modern, albeit a bit small. Our only quibble would be the music from the restaurant downstairs. Not blaring, but audible til about 11 pm a few nights a week.
The owner was also very nice and very helpful. Our daughter left a favorite stuffed animal behind, and she went to the trouble of finding it and shipping it back to us. Thanks, Elisabeth!
We're definitely planning to stay here again. -

LondonCosy, comfortable and right at the heart of the action
Left on 11/18/2009 for a stay in October 2009
This is the second booking I've made with Vacation In Paris and everything
about the service I received was as good as I remembered from my first
booking. Vacation in Paris not only has the best selection of apartments for
rent in Paris but also the most efficient, reliable, friendly and responsive
service I've encountered. Even though I am UK based and Vacation in Paris is
in the US, everything about the booking went without a hitch.
I chose the apartment because it looked attractive, with good quality
furnishings. On arrival, the apartment is better in real life than in the
pictures. The living area is large and comfortable. The bathroom is
unusually spacious for a Paris apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean
and there were lovely fresh linens laid out. The wardrobes in the bedroom
provide lots of storage space. All the amenities are just right - the TV with
DVD player and cable channels, the efficient central heating and powerful
shower, and a small but well equipped kitchen. The flat itself is handily on
the first floor, so no long walk up.
I chose the flat because I know the area well and I knew it to be ideally
located. From here you can walk 10 minutes to Le Bon Marche department
store or 10 minutes to the art galleries and boutiques of Rue de Jacob etc.
Metro stations 2 minutes walk away are served by 2 different lines. The
street on which it is situated is at the heart of a small network of quaint
streets that become extremely lively in the evenings - lots of bars and
restaurants. This can get a bit noisy well into the early hours - so you have
to go with the flow and enjoy the fact that you're at the heart of Paris
nightlife. It certainly enhanced rather than detracted from our stay. There
are extremely good bakers and restauraunts and a covered market for
groceries within a stone's throw. This is a great apartment to chose if you
want to immerse yourself in real Parisian life for a few days - in possibly the
most well-heeled district of Paris. -

Of the apartments I've stayed, this was my least favorite.
The location was difficult to find and the apartment dark inside.
While there was nothing wrong with it, others I've stayed in through your company have been better.
As ever, the apartment was clean and neat. I always appreciate the care with which the places are kept up.
Your service in making sure the keys reached me on time was superb. Vacationinparis always makes my trips better!
On the plus side, the bathtub in the apartment was great!
