One of the best locations in Paris, right in the heart of it all, and yet better still, with transport just close by... St. Germain des Pres or Mabillon only a 2-3 minute stroll. This is a superb flat, nicely renovated with tasteful decoration, large living spaces, air conditioned bedrooms, two bathrooms and set on a quiet courtyard with green ivy gracefully framing the windows...Some of you may recognize the St. Sulpice location from its mention in the Da Vinci Code... Typical of this area, the building dates back to circa 1600's, with all wooden structures, f...or which the owners have reexposed the ceiling beams and vertical wall supports, to add lots of character. It is on the 3 rd European floor (4 th US) with stairs only. They spared no expense in assuring quality renovations, with a very modern kitchen, renovated ceramic tile floors, over sized king beds in both bedrooms, which can also be split into twin beds, and quality craftsmanship throughout.

Simply a large, very comfortable apartment 66 m 2 , furnished with exquisite taste, from which you can explore all of Paris, with most major sites only a short walk. The Louvre is just across the Seine about 10-12 minutes, the d'Orsay Museum only 5 more minutes, the St. Michel area is only 10 minutes away as well, and the island just another couple of minutes more. Of course you are in the heart of St. Germain, probably the favorite neighborhood for most visitors, with so many shops and bistros, cafes and the busy boulevard by the same name. This is a lively spot and although the apartment is three flights above the street, some may find it too noisy. Even the famed Luxembourg Gardens are only a short stroll of about 4 minutes...

This fine property offers great versatility in sleeping configurations. The two bedrooms can be made up with four twin beds, or two king size beds, or any way you wish! There is a queen size foldout sofa sleeper in the living room, which is of excellent quality with a thick mattress to ensure a comfortable rest. This means a total of 6 adults can easily stay here and enjoy lots of space and comfortable sleeping arrangements. There are also large and plentiful closets in the two bedrooms, not only for clothes but to store your luggage as well. Likewise, the two bathrooms provide flexibility of use as well; one bedroom has its own en-suite large bathroom with shower, sink and towel warmer and sink. The other bathroom has a large shower as well, towel warmer and is most conveniently located near the entryway, making it easily accessible by guests in the second bedroom or anyone using the living room sofa sleeper. Please note there is only one WC, however it is independent, separate from the bathrooms, and is also near the entryway, for easy access by any of the guests.

Appointed with several relaxing leather club chairs, decorator hand made drapes, recessed lighting, a modern style dining table and coffee table in the living room, an open kitchen with countertop, separate entryway, new modern style bathrooms, a few choice pieces of antique furniture and high ceilings, this fine home is sure to please even the demanding guests!

  I've stayed several times in a 2-block radius of this location in the 6th arrond. This apt was perfect for us, a family of 5. The apt itself is comfortable; especially like the arrangement of two separate bedrooms each with its own bathroom (if anyone sleeps on the fold-out bed in the lving room, they share the front bathroom). The single, but in a separate mini-room, toilet worked for all of us. Kitchen was perfect; washing machine, with drying rack set-up was fine. Altogether very comfortable for our 7-day stay. A couple of minor problems we encountered were taken care of quickly and easily by the local contact person.

  Bright, Spacious and Comfy in Excellent Location

  My husband and I stayed here for a week in July with our two children (ages 15 and 11). We loved the bright rooms, the stylish decor and the modern amenities. It's very well-located, only one block from the Metro and a 20-minute walk to the Louvre and Notre Dame. There are dozens of interesting restaurants nearby, along with a supermarket and one of Paris's best bakeries. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We would love to stay here again the next time we visit Paris.

  Living the Parisian Life

  My family and I had the most unbelievable holiday in Paris at 48 St. Sulpice. The apartment was situated perfectly, as it was close to all the exciting tourist attractions, all the vibey restaurants and funky shopping streets. It was wonderful on Easter Sunday hearing the ringing of the bells from St. Sulpice - very romantic! The apartment could be a bit noisy until the early hours of the morning, due to the restaurants and bars, but for us, this contributed towards our experience rather than detracted from it.
  
  The furnishings were extremely tasteful and every cooking utensil we required was exactly where we looked for it. We had such great night's sleeps on the extremely comfortable beds and stunning linen - this included my 18 year old son, who slept on the sleeper sofa. The one drawback, for the kids at least, was that we couldn't get the flat-screen TV to work. A huge plus, for this apartment is the non-stop supply of hot water. This is essential when there are quite a few of you sharing.
  
  We really had a holiday to remember. Thank you.

  We enjoyed the convenient location (Metro, MonoPrix, restaurants, cab stand, shops, Jardin du Luxembourg) and atmosphere (even with the French out of the World Cup, there were lots of fans in the street, bars, and cafes). A couple of hiccups on check-in, easily fixed by the vendor, we think.

  Convenient and Comfortable!

  Steps away from the Metro (but the stairs to the apartment are not for the
  faint of heart) we were happy to return to our home away from home each
  day. Everything was as it should be and then some. Don't underestimate the
  importance of Air Conditioning especially if you need quiet and go to bed
  early! The street is active in the evening. The windows shut out the noise
  perfectly, but imagine if you needed the windows closed on a hot day! An
  A/C unit in each bedroom made the entire apt very comfortable.
  
  We have two teens ( a boy and a girl,) so having the second bedroom with
  two separate beds was essential. The second shower was a wonderful time
  saver too! Could have put another person ( or two) on the sofa in the living
  room. It would have felt tight but manageable. With the four of us we were
  very comfortable. Our hosts made sure we had everything necessary for our
  stay, and were available to us should we have needed them.

  Wonderful Apartment, Hope to Return

  This is a well-kept, centrally-located apartment that felt like home. We
  were able to walk everywhere -- ten minutes to the Seine and the Louvre,
  which we loved to do late at night when there were few people and beautiful
  lights. Several Metro stops are also nearby, although we didn't use them
  very much. The apartment is on a safe, charming street with cute little
  shops and great restaurants all around. (You can see it on MapQuest via the
  "street view" feature). It is a very comfortable space for four, and it could
  accommodate a few more in the living room. There is a beautiful little treed
  courtyard. The street is lively but not overly noisy. The air conditioning was
  a nice perk. The renovation is superb -- 400 year-old tile floors, beautiful
  old beams, a ton of character. It's a third floor walkup, which might bother
  some, but we were fine with that. Overall, this was a great experience, much
  nicer than a hotel would have been. Elisabeth, the owner, is wonderful. She
  met us, showed us around, gave us her cell number and was available if we
  had any questions (we had a minor issue with the lock at first -- we weren't
  turning the key correctly, since it differs a bit from the U.S. -- and she was
  there in five minutes to help out). In all, this was a terrific experience.
  Whenever I return to Paris, I hope to make this place my home.
