I have lived in Paris and am not ignorant to the fact that old Paris apartments can have issues. This apartment has an unparalleled view and that makes it very special. However, the apartment has peeling and rotting wood along the bottom of all the main doors, the kitchen sink was leaking dirty water into a bowl under the sink and the "modern bathroom" had an unbearable smell emanating from the shower. We attempted to communicate all this to Paris perfect both before and after the stay. Our concerns were met with insolence and dismissed. Excuses such as "thank you for letting us know- we didn't know about the sink" and "old Paris pipes can smell" were given. In addition, a hair dryer was missing from the apartment when we arrived. In order to get it replaced, a member of the rental team literally forced his way into the room where my elderly parents were sleeping to verify (what he had already verified upon check in) that the hair dryer was missing. Finally, beware that only 2 keys are given to you. We had 6 people in the apartment, all wanting to enjoy their expensive Paris vacation in different ways; yet, we were forced to coordinate specific timing with keys.

We apologize if you felt your concerns were not taken seriously and believe we did our utmost to handle your issues quickly. Unfortunately, we could not lend you a third of keys. While there are extra keys to the apartment door, the building managers issue only 3 keys for the building door. Guests have been known to lock themselves out and rely on us to retain an emergency set. If we can’t let them in, locksmiths will charge between €300 for a callout, payable immediately by the guests. If the locksmith must break the lock, guests must pay the locksmith up to €1,800 to replace and re key all locks. As a result, we do our utmost to help avoid these disasters.
Yes, the shower drain had an odor when you arrived. Our greeter brought over drain cleaner at once and was told the smell had been eliminated. We understand you have lived in Paris and were not trying to belittle your complaint. In most of the apartments we manage, an odor comes up from the drain if the shower has not been used for a few days. This was the case here and it went away after running water to fill the trap. We were unaware of a drip under the kitchen sink until you notified us. Our maintenance man came over and tightened the elbow joint the following day.
We are sorry you felt our greeter forced his way while your parents were resting. He knew how upset you were about the missing 2nd hairdryer and was trying to help locate it or deliver another one. He sincerely apologized to them when he realized his mistake.
We believe the apartment represented excellent value compared to the cost of a comparable flat or hotel rooms in a 3-star hotel nearby. In addition, our reservationist quoted the wrong price when you enquired. As a gesture of goodwill we honored her mistake and you received an additional 15% discount off the cost of your stay. It was not our intention to shrug off your complaints in any way and hope our rapid response showed our sincerity. Most of all, we hope you had a wonderful time with your family and friends during your vacation stay and reunion party at La Grande Dame. -

This apartment is located in a nice residential area of Paris - a calm retreat from the frenzied activities of shopping and galleries! Midway between Metro and RER stops. Beautiful views of the Eiffel Tower (and a glimpse of the Seine) from the common area, although there was a bit of street noise in that part of the apartment. Back bedrooms were quiet. Lovely moldings and wood floors. Well stocked kitchen and large rooms are bonuses. Also, the Paris Perfect staff were quite flexible about meeting us and getting us settled which was so helpful.

This apartment was very nice, and the location was terrific.
The drawback to this rental was that the air conditioning did not operate efficiently. It was warm in June while we were there. Two of the bedrooms were constantly warm, and uncomfortable to sleep in. The other issue was that there wasn't a mid week swap of towels and linens. The pricing of the apartments are at a level where one could expect that service. There are a washing machine and dryer, but they're not able to handle towels & linens for a group of any size. In all fairness, I did call, and speak to the local management team, and they offered to let me come by the office and swap out the towels - but I didn't want to trek all the way to their office with dirty towels and then bring the fresh towels back to the apartment.
The location was terrific. There is a small grocery store on the opposite corner that is worth it's weight in gold. You can stock up on the basics there, and shop for specialty items on your way home. There is also a fruit stand nearby, and there are decent pastry shops very close by. The restaurants on the street are very touristy (expect similar type of service). The exception to this statement are the restaurants on, and near Rue Cler. This is a fabulous attraction to be near. Complete one stop shopping!!!
The apartment itself was very nicely appointed. All kitchen appliances worked as advertised, and the full size refrigerator was a very nice touch. The balconies are small, but I loved the view of the Eiffel Tower. I've been to Paris many times, but never tire of the view. This apartment is close to a Metro Station (10 minutes on foot). The building itself is very well kept. There is an onsite building manager, and quality of attention shows. The elevator is not to be down played -- although older guests, or guests with disabilities should know that the elevator only goes to a certain point - there is still a flight of steps to be climbed or descended with luggage. However, it is still a huge convenience! This apartment also offers free Wifi...and free telephone service to most of Europe and the U.S. That was much appreciated.
Overall, I would rate our experience as very good. The location is super - I have to be honest though...the grocery store being so close was a wonderful benefit. This apartment would be terrific for a family - very peaceful and safe. -

I traveled to Paris last week with two girlfriends.. I have been to Paris many times and always stayed in hotels.. They convinced me to change course and book this apartment. It was perfect Paris for a variety of reasons.. First, having this much space was wonderful beyond words.. whether having an espresso in the morning sitting in the living room after running 10 seconds away to get morning pastries, returning at days end dog tired and having a glass of wine with the girls in the living room or checking my email in the den while admiring the Eiffel Tower right smack out my window... none of this could be duplicated in a hotel setting. Plenty of space for us to have our own space and enjoy time together as well. Their pre information is super helpful. I was amazed how many of the local restaurants were rated in the top 100 of Trip advisor and the one that was not so good was also noted in their book.. Their suggestions of booking Victor to take us to and from the airport were perfect. Lists of local markets were so helpful as well. We had a washer/dryer, hairdryers, espresso machine.. everything was perfect for one's stay including a bottle of wine waiting when we arrived. Communication was very easy through email. I even found an english speaking cooking class through their suggestions...My original thought was that it was not as convenient as other locations I've stayed at. however, once I got the bus routes down, it was a snap to get anywhere.. One block the other direction is the Seine and it was just heavenly spending time on sunday afternoon walking up and down the paths along the river.. I hope to return again soon and would not hesitate to stay here or at another Paris Perfect property.Seeing the base of the Eiffel Tower (about 2 blocks away) up to the grandeur of the whole thing both day and night was an unforgettable experience. Only one caveat here.. their list of helpful numbers includes a local taxi service (G7?) which we booked ahead one night for dinner out of the area.. it was 24 E to get there and 11 with the return cab the restaurant booked for us.. I would probably not use this service again.

Imagine walking into this beautiful apartment and discovering the Eiffel Tower perfectly framed by your living room floor to ceiling windows! Amazing. Cannot say enough about La Grande Dame. Great service from the Paris Perfect people, including all the information you need about the neighborhood, metro, markets, shopping , museums, restaurants, and on and on. Great, comfortable beds...Modern bathrooms.with lots of hot water... Hair dryers... Dvds...travel books. We can't wait to return!!!

Our party of five just returned from a wonderful stay at La Grande Dame. It was everything Paris Perfect said it would be and more. Paris Perfect anticipated our arrival and had everything ready, even the dining room table was set for us. Their welcome was very warm and appreciated. The apartment could not have been lovelier, and the marvelous direct view of the Eiffel Tower was breathtaking! It was very spacious for five with everything one could possibly need. The beds were extremely comfortable and the living and dining rooms very inviting. The decor of the entire apartment was lovely. We could not have asked for a better location or a more beautiful apartment. Staying there greatly enhanced our enjoyment and stay in Paris. We all loved it and would return in a heartbeat. I celebrated my 50th birthday with 5 other girlfriends - La Grande Dame was the Perfect apartment!! Where else in Paris could you find 3 bedrooms with 3 full bathrooms and a view of the Eiffel Tower to die for!!
The location was exceptional.Close to wonderful cafes, boutiques,speciality stores and one minuet walk to the Eiffel Tower and the Sienne tour boats!
We also had a very memorable day of cooking with Diane anthonissen recommended by Paris Perfect. It was definitely one of the highlights of our stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn some classic French cooking - whatever their skill level!
Our only complaint was at the biginning of our trip when we were to be picked up at the airport by Victor taxi service arranged through Paris Perfect.After waiting for over an hour and a half,and many phone calls and texts( which I had to pay for at an international rate ) we ended up taking local cabs to the apartment. On the way back the following week we tried to give Victor another chance to prove himself, however to our dismay we waited outside a cold apartment with all our luggage for at least 30 minuets before Victor showed up! I think Paris Perfect needs to recommend another taxi service!
All that said, I would highly recommend Paris Perfect and in fact I will be planning on taking my husband to Paris next summer with Paris Perfect! -

La Grande Dame (Paris Perfect) is a great, large apartment in a convenient location with the Eiffel Tower for a backdrop. We were seven adults who never felt crowded. We met for breakfast each morning in the dining/living room and planned our day. The staff of Paris Perfect had the apartment ready for our early arrival. No small feat since another party checked out in the morning. It's a great place to stay and, once unpacked, made for a relaxing vacation.

When planning our family of 7 trip to Paris we quickly decided that an apartment would be more fun than 4 hotel rooms. And as it turned out, even a better value and we were all together and living as Parisians! The Grande Dame was amazing! It was even better than the pictures showed. Comfortable, beautifully decorated and the best location you could ask for! It was such a treat to glance out the french doors and have the Eiffel Tower right at your reach! I swear, it seemed closer each day!
With a party of 3 couples and one single the bedrooms were perfect. The pullout loveseat in the study was very comfortable and had the best view. Our mother had that room and thought it wonderful to fall asleep in the glow of the Eiffel Tower.
The very adequate kitchen was nice to have. The grocery store a block away provided us with the things we needed to start our day. A "few" pastries also made their way into the apartment for late night snacks!
I would stay here again in a heartbeat...in fact I would love to own it and call it my own home in Paris! -

“What can I say except the apartment La Grand Dame is unbelievable! It is decorated so beautifully and still very comfortable for a family of seven. The location of the apartment is perfect - very centrally located to all of the sights in Paris. The view of the Eiffel Tower is amazing, especially at night. In the mornings we opened the 'floor to ceiling' windows and it was like we were residents of Paris - enjoying our morning coffee on the balcony listening to all the 'sounds of Paris'. I would highly recommend this apartment to any one traveling to Paris with a large family. The Paris Perfect staff was great from beginning to end.......very professional and very eager to help us with anything we needed. Whenever we make another trip to Paris, we will surely stay in the La Grande Dame apartment. The apartment made our trip perfect! "

This lovely Paris Perfect apartment lived up to her name!
Where to start?!? The location is wonderful~close to the bus, metro and train. The view of the Eiffel Tower is better than these pictures! Lovely at night on the patio or in the morning with coffee! The beds are wonderful with scrumptious sheets and pillows and extra comforters for those chilly evenings~The showers are like those in a high-end spa hotel and plenty of hot water and soft towels!
The kitchen has everything one might need for a meal at home~You just can't beat the view!
When you stay at a Paris Perfect apartment you can be sure everything will be truly Perfect! -

The apartment we rented was beyond expectations. It was wonderfully airy and
spacious, tastefully decorated and furnished with all the things necessary to
make our stay most comfortable. The apartment was very conveniently located
just steps away from the Eiffel Tower, close to many cafes and shopping, and
near to the Metro and the BatoBus. The crowning glory of La Grande Dame was
its exceptional view of the Eiffel Tower, a view we marvelled over during our
stay, never growing tired of it!
The people at Paris Perfect couldn't have been more accomodating and they

We had a wonderful stay - the apartment was perfect for us. We loved the living areas, the view (of course!) and the amenities (internet, free phone calls to the US , laundry, etc). The location was absolutely ideal - a short walk to many grocery shops and restaurants. We hopped on the Batobus nearly every day and the train to Versailles was right there too. I'd book it again in a heartbeat. Some other nice touches: the large movie collection, the games, the grocery cart, the umbrellas, and the printer in the office (for our boarding passes). We spent many happy hours sitting on the terrace. It is an amazing place!

The apartment was as advertised - lovely, spacious, with a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower. It was set up in such a way to maximize the efficieny of the bathrooms and worked extremely well for our very "mixed group" (ranging in age from 29 to 86). The information provided by Paris Perfect, both about the apartment itself and the neighbourhood was extremely useful. We loved the neighbourhood which felt very familiar to us because of the extensive "orientation" provided by Paris Perfect. We ate at a number of the restaurants that they recommended and were very satisfied with all of them.
The apartment is located right around the corner from the Branly museum and for anyone who likes to visit gardens, I can highly recommend both the grounds of the museum and the green wall. The Branly gardens provide an extremely interesting "counterpoint" to a more traditional French garden.
The only drawback from our perspective was that it was a bit of a "hike" to the nearest metro station. Not a problem for anyone who is reasonably active, but for the 86 year old member of our party, it was somewhat of a "trek". The "bateau buses", however, provided us with a great alternative and cut down on some of that walking time.
We really enjoyed our stay in Paris and are already planning our next trip. Needless to say, we will be consulting Paris Perfect to find the right apartment! -

We had a wonderful experience. Our room overlooked the Eifel Tower, and was one block away. We had 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. My aunt and uncle were on their first trip to Paris, they are 84 and 83 and it was great. Our apartment was very clean and well appointed and had everythink we could possibly need. It was on the the 6th floor with an elevator. The staff at Paris Perfect recommended Michael, a local tour guide and he was outstanding. Worth "his weight in gold". We used public transportation, and saw everything we wanted to. We would recommend Paris Perfect to everyone, and have done so.
