  This is a fantastic apartment for a holiday rental. It is even better than the pictures advertise. Very spacious and comfortable living room & dining room. The 2nd bedroom was perfect for our 2 kids since it had separate twin beds, and the main bedroom had a very comfortable queen bed.
  
  We loved the area very much. It felt like a lively residential neighbourhood (not tourist central), but was still within a half hour walk or so to Notre Dame, the Louvre, the Latin Quarter. The Filles du Calvaire Metro stop was right outside the apartment building, and was a direct line (line 8) to the Eiffel Tower or Champs Elysees. There were 2 boulangeries within a block (one just across the street), and a large grocery store (Carrefour) a block away. Plenty of other good shopping options on Rue Bretagne nearby, and the twice weekly Bastille market on Richard Lenoir was also very close.
  
  The owner and apartment manager were very easy to deal with. Very organized and friendly. I cannot recommend this place enough.
