If you are looking for the perfect Parisian experience, look no further! This signature apartment is located in one of the oldest and most central part of Paris - the second arrondissement, near the famous "Les Halles", in the pedestrian part of the renowned rue Montmartre lined up with designers boutiques, restaurants and cafes. There isn't more quintessentially Parisian than this district. The Montorgueil area is the most hip and trendy area in Paris right now and probably hosts the largest number of restaurants, cafes and live theaters you can imagine. It's... a vibrant pedestrian area in the heart of Paris, like a village, where the rich heritage of Paris collides with the modernism of a busy center city that never sleeps.

Some of the city's best produce, meat and fish markets can be found here, along with renowned pastry shops like La Maison Stohrer founded in 1730, cozy bistros, boutiques, and bars diverse enough to please hipsters and traditionalists alike. You will find many small and warm places where to eat, drink, converse, socialize or just to people watch.

You will be walking distance from many museums including Le Louvre and Centre George Pompidou, Museum of Modern Art, and a short metro ride from all the other sightseeing in Paris such as the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysees, Notre Dame. And of course, the access from the airport couldn't be easier with a direct train ride from Charles de Gaulle airport.

The owners of this one bathroom, one bedroom apartment renovated (June 2009) it in the spirit of a designer loft, with 12 foot high ceilings, huge windows overlooking a peaceful courtyard, wood floors throughout, steel stair case, new modern kitchen and bathroom.

The apartment is located on the 2 nd European floor (3 rd US) of a 18 th century building and offers the quietness of the countryside in the heart of the Parisian effervescence. You will enjoy approximately 670 ft 2 of living space comprised of a bedroom with an oversized queen bed, a bathroom with both a bathtub and a walk-in shower, a large living room with a comfortable 1.4 meter wide sofa bed that sleeps 2 young children (not teenagers) or a single adult and an open kitchen.

All appliances are new and modern, including a combination microwave/conventional oven, refridgerator/freezer, dishwasher, combination washer/dryer. There is free Internet access via Wi-Fi, free phone calls to North America and many major countries worldwide, satellite TV with English speaking channels. Amenities include a hair dryer, toaster, coffee machine, wireless phones, flat screen TV, trolley to do your groceries the "Parisian way"..etc..

Everything you may need is conveniently located at your door step, from groceries to gourmet shops, post office, bakeries, cafes, and restaurants.

  Clean Modern apartment in a Fantastic Location

  My husband and I recently stayed at this apartment for 9 days and we loved the location in a charming building on Rue Montmartre. The apartment is located in a neighborhood packed with restaurants and shops and is walking distance to the Louvre, Notre Dame, Le Centre Pompidou, the Seine. It is also convenient to more than one metro stop, so transportation is easy. We loved hanging out at the many cafes, restaurants and bars down the street, around the corner, and a block away on Rue Montorgueil, and had a croissant and cafe creme almost every morning from the Boulangerie just a few doors away.
  
  The apartment is clean and modern and very quiet since it faces an interior courtyard. The bed is large and comfortable, although situated in a loft so it can get hot at night. The bathroom is big with a luxurious shower and plenty of hot water. We did have a brief issue with the hot water heater not working our first night, but we were able to fix it by turning the knob on the bottom to fill it up. The apartment is well furnished for a couple, but I wouldn't recommend it for more than 2 people -- there is not much privacy between the two rooms due to an open window in the loft that overlooks the kitchen/living room and the structure of the bathroom, which is open on one side to the staircase leading to the loft (the toilet is separate and is not affected by this). Also, although the kitchen table has four chairs, the living room is furnished with a couch only and two floor cushions for additional seating. These minor issues are easily overcome by the fantastic location and the other amenities offered in the apartment.
  
  Overall, a great place to stay in beautiful Paris!

  Lovely apartment. As long as you are aware of the height issue in the loft you will have no problems. The location is fabulous and close to shopping transportaion and major sights. I thoroughly enjoyed the bathtub, and the shower was great! They could use instuctions for heat- there were none, but we figured it out.

  All the preliminary information about arriving at the apartment and receiving the keys were great. The location in Montorgueil was perfect since we cooked all our own meals - and access to the butchers, seafood merchants, and fruits and vegetables in the local market was wonderful. The kitchen was more than adequate to make great meals - porcini with papardelle, ombler de chevalier, pigeon. Being close enough to walk to many attractions such as the Pompidou Centre, Hotel de Ville and near a metro was also great. The apartment was very comfortable for the two of us - except the ceiling for the loft bed was low.

  I often come to Paris and rent from VIP.
  This was a new location for me and just adjacent to a fabulous street of food markets and very convenient to the metro.
  The stove and cooktop I couldnt quite figure out, but the rest was great.
  For 2-3 people great space, though not a whole lot of privacy - it is a loft afterall!

  Wonderful Location, Clean and Modern, Plenty of Hot Water

  We stayed in this flat over for a week surrounding New Years. The beautiful
  creaky wooden floor gave the place a warm feeling. The kitchen is concise
  and could use a bit more lighting, though we found all appliances easy to
  use and where you'd expect them to be located.
  
  Despite being 6' 4", and not able to stand fully in the loft bedroom, the bed
  was comfortable with nice linens.
  
  Enjoy safety with the double locks as well as the locked doors to the
  entrance. There's plenty of lighting through the courtyard, up the stairs,
  and in the intimate elevator.
  
  Most of the other people living in the building go without notice. There was
  once instance where someone was dragging their suitcase down the stairs
  outside the main door to the flat. In all, it was quite with no plumbing noise
  or cooking smells from neighbors in any direction.
