A gorgeous apartment on one of the oldest streets in Paris which includes a large living room and two bedrooms totally remodeled to accommodate six in luxury. 3 minutes by foot from Notre Dame Cathedral, Sainte Chapelle and the rue de Buci market street. The apartment is also located barely 7 minutes from Saint Germain des Prés and the Louvre and d'Orsay Museums.Whilst the King and his Court were on Ile de la Cité, the church and students had to find land for the University; they chose the left bank and the Sorbonne was built. As these true scholars spoke Lat...in, the Latin Quarter was born and remains today.

The area is at the corner of Boulevards St Germain and St Michel, the building on rue de la Harpe, in the one of the most evocative and romantic streets of Paris....a series of cobblestone streets that give the place it's very unique charm. The streets have little traffic and are very lively. Restaurants, bars and even a jazz club line the streets. A romantic scene!

The apartment, an extremely quiet and bright penthouse, is located on the 6 th European floor (7 th US). The building is over 400 years old but nobody really knows the exact date, probably around 1600; records have long been lost, but there is an elevator. The building has been recently restored to its original beauty and enhanced with warm tones of beige that complement the parquet floors and the original high beamed ceiling restored and has two doors for added safety.

A typical old wooden door gives entrance to your apartment and you are in the living room. A large sofa, that also sleeps two, best for children or young adults, is facing a beautiful limestone fireplace which is decorative only, several comfortable chairs, large wooden dinner table that easily fits six, and a fully equipped kitchen with an enchanting view on the street below. It’s the perfect setting for romantic dinners and lazy mornings in. An original beamed ceiling rises over the entire living and dining room.

The decoration is a tasteful mixture of classic furniture.

A charming brown stone as the kitchen counter, closets filled with everything needed to make that oh so Parisian dinner. It features a built-in microwave, full size dishwasher, convection oven, coffee pot, toaster, and a four burner electric induction stove. Not to mention the clothes washer and separate dryer conveniently located side by side. The kitchen of this apartment rental in Paris comes complete with all of the pots, pans, and utensils you’ll need. Also included is a full complement of porcelain dishes, cutlery, glasses, and quality linens to set an immaculate table.

The passageway ( click here for FLOOR-PLAN ) leads to a bathroom on the right and the guest bedroom. This bedroom has its own private shower and washbasin. The unique feature here is a direct view of Notre Dame Cathedral!

The master bedroom has an extra wide queen size bed, a small desk in the corner, a pretty wall and table lamps to make working or lounging in bed a pleasure. A large window shines natural light and provides romantic views of Paris rooftops. A second flat-screen TV and dual-standard DVD player and parents can entertain themselves here while children socialize in the living room.

The master bedroom features an en-suite bathroom decorated in beige tile and features a toilet, a sink sunk into a curved counter, and a full size bathtub/shower combination with both fixed and flexible shower heads behind sliding glass doors.

This special apartment is only meant for one or two families travelling together. If any member of the group is under 25 years old, there must be a least one parent of that person in the group. Failure to abide by this rule may result in the local Property Manager refusing to allow the guests entry into the property and all rental payments will be forfeited. This request is based on the property owner's requirements.

This is one of two properties that we offer that occupy the whole top floor of a historic building right in the Latin Quarter. Together, the apartment can accommodate 10 person. The other apartment is ID 227 .

  Amazing apartment In The Heart Of The Latin Quarter

  I just had a wonderful 10 nights in this apartment over the new year period and could not be more positive about the experience.
  
  The main appeal of the apartment for me was the location. It is literally within a minutes walk from the St Michel Metro, the Pont St Michel, the fountain, hundreds of restaurants, Notre Dame, Shakespeare & Company, Abbey Bookshop, etc, etc. There are two supermarkets within easy walking distance, pharmacies, bakeries, Boulevard St Germain. The Louvre and the Jardins des Tuileries are a twenty minute walk away. There are bars and nightclubs within a few minutes walk as well. As far as I can tell, it would be difficult to find a better location in Paris.
  
  The apartment itself is comfortably furnished and very cosy. It is smaller than the pictures allow you to appreciate but it was certainly large enough for our use. The kitchen is fully equipped and user friendly. The television has cable and a multitude of channels. The wifi worked but was a little bit temperamental at times. If i had to make a criticism of the apartment it would be that the bed was too hard for my liking. A personal preference, I know, and the only thing I can say that is negative about the entire experience.
  
  I had no problems at all dealing with Vacation In Paris. In fact, every contact I had with them was positive. The on site manager is also a wonderful person, available to help whenever you might need him and an excellent source of advice for the local area. I'm always a bit wary leasing international apartments sight unseen but I can attest that this company is truly professional and would not hesitate to either recommend them or use them again myself the next time I'm in Paris for an extended period.
