Whether you are celebrating an anniversary, enjoying your honeymoon, or just traveling with a good friend or longtime companion, this stunning showcase apartment for two is ideally located along the edge of the Third and Fourth Arrondissement the newly minted NoMa district the ideal spot to enjoy a rich slice of Parisian history, shopping and nightlife.

Located on the Rue de... Bretagne, this spacious apartment sits in the North Marais (NoMa, the Right Bank neighborhood also known as the Temple and Arts-et-Metiers Quarter. This area has a long and storied history dating back to the days of the Knights Templar, the religious/military society that once owned most of the Marais. In medieval times, artisans and craftsmen took refuge in this area, as royalty had no authority to collect taxes within the Templars jurisdiction.

Today, this up and coming area is home to excellent restaurants, fashionable shops, and trendy art galleries, which have taken over many of the neighborhoods former ateliers (workshops) of the leather and jewelry industries. In this area, locals and tourists enjoy attending evening Vernissage or previews/openings as many of the art galleries host exhibitions, where guests mingle with critics and members of the press, discussing the shows while enjoying canapes and wine.

After a busy evening of Vernissage, return to the Rue de Bretagne and take a quick elevator ride (or grand and winding stairs if you prefer the dramatic) to this Housmanian buildings third floor. Step through this apartments double doors, shake off the evening in the large, traditional foyer, and ease into the living area, where you willl find serenity, luxury, and plenty of space to relax. The grand and elegant living/dining area is wrapped in soft whites and rich grays, trimmed with royal burgundies and blacks, and crowned with intricate, turn of the century molding and flourishes. Lean out one of four floor-to-ceiling, double-door windows and watch the vibrant street scene, or simply unwind in solitude with a bottle of wine, late night treats and a good movie on the large flat screen television. And with all that space, this apartment is great for entertaining, cocktail parties, and hearty meals prepared in the up-to-date kitchen, just off the large foyer. The 3rd arrondissement has become in the past several years one of the preferred areas of Paris for residents of the Capital as well as visitors in the "know". As the 4th arrondissement has become increasingly saturated with chic and expensive boutiques and restaurants from the Place des Vosges to the very exclusive Ile de la Cite, the 3rd has come into it's own. Bordered by great boulevards on its northern eastern and western boundaries, the atmosphere of the old Marais still dominates here with its array of narrow cobbled streets. Restaurants and cafes, markets and boutques in this district are more reflective of a true Parisian life style than are other more frequented areas. That's not to say that the 3rd is lacking in major sites of interest, some of which include the Archives Nationales, the Carnavalet Museum, the Conservatoire des Arts et Metiers and the Picasso Museum. Food shopping streets also abound such as the rue de Bretagne with it's well known open market of Les Enfants Rouges and the rue Rambouteau, while the famed rue Montorgueil is not far away. Art galleries have also established themselves here in force and on particular nights of the week one can take in the contemporary art scene sampling one gallery's exhibition after another while enjoying wine and champagne during the frequent vernissages or "openings" which take place within the 3rd arrondissement.

  This apartment is located in a fabulous area near great restaurants, grocery and incredible shopping. It is a 15 minute walk at most to the Seine. The apartment is lovely and is exactly as pictured online.
  The French doors open to the street and it can get a little noisy but in the bedroom there was no noise at night. The living room/ dining room is very large and has seating for several people, 6-8, comfortably. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is more than adequately supplied.
  The hosts were waiting for us when we arrived at the apartment, which is a minute walk from the Metro. They were vey friendly and helpful upon arrival and during out stay. There is a lift.
  There was no security deposit required as there were no issues open our departure.
  There is no clothes dryer but there is a laundromat within 2 minutes walk if needed.
  Definitely will rent this apartment again.

  This apartment is beautiful!!! its a bit (but not far at all) off the beaten path very close to everything quiet street and amazing sun light. Arts et Metiers is a wonderful area cafes everywhere. This is the 3rd time I have rented from Jose at Rent Paris now. everything has been 100% professional and easy.
  I own an adventure travel business and I need my clients to be in good hands. Leaving nothing to chance. I will rely upon Jose for Paris. Be sure to check out the other apartments.
  Here is a tip Gerard the driver posted on the website is an amazing and very worthwhile service if your new to Paris or want to get from point a to B with ease and comfort I suggest using his service he speaks excellent english and is very friendly. Don't miss the Pompidou only 3 blocks away and most tour attractions within walking distance. In Paris there is an adventure everyday Chouchou for dinner at least once great food and live jazz music. if you come in the summer be sure to take the ferris wheel in the Tuileries small Parisian carnival for a unforgettable view of Paris. avoir un merveilleux voyage David-sf
