First, the positives: This apartment is in a fantastic location near many pedestrian streets with lots of shops and restaurants. The shower was great, nice and powerful.
Now the negatives: I was so disappointed with this studio. I had seen the pictures and thought I knew what to expect, but the whole place felt in need of a makeover. The shelf under the desk was precariously positioned on a big cushion (futon, I guess), and a mirror on the desk was just propped against the wall and nearly fell on my husband. The bed wasn't the greatest, but the pillows were terrible, totally limp. The shelves in the closet had a coating of dust probably from work that was being done out in the hallway.
I would never recommend this apartment, and unlike most reviewers, I don't think I would ever use this agency again either. I found them very rigid and rules-oriented. Every communication seemed to be filled with what I must do or must not do. Not customer-friendly or accomodating like other apartments I have rented in Paris and around the world.
To give you an example, the very dog-eared visitor's guide stated very clearly on the front that the apartment manager is to be contacted Only in Case of Emergencies! I would have liked to ask for a sink stopper for the kitchen sink (had to use a saucer to wash dishes) or some decent pillows, but it seemed clear that requests were not appreciated. I have rented many apartments all over the world, and I would have to place this one near the bottom of the list. -

This is a nicely furnished, well kept efficiency. It overlooks a lovely courtyard area, is convenient to restaurants and shopping and is a block from the Pompidou Museum. While very small, it served my family well. My two daughters and granddaughter stayed there for eight days in May. Probably better for two people but the three managed despite being a bit crowded. There was so much to do and see that they mostly slept in the unit--delighted by the setting in the heart of Paris.

My husband and I really enjoyed our time here. This apartment is in a really great part of town, about 1 block from Centre Pompidou, with lots of restaurants and shops on the street...and a quaint little grocery if you want to take advantage of the kitchenette.
The apartment itself was great. The few neighbors we met were as sweet as they could be. For the most part, it was pretty quiet. On the weekday mornings we were there, we woke up to children playing and laughing, which I think added so much more to the experience. The apartment was clean when we arrived, all the dishes, sheets, towels, everything was nicely arranged and waiting for us.
The check in/check out was easy, since everything is done by mail. You just have your key already and show up. Doesn't get much better than that! Then you just mail it back in a pre-addressed envelope.
I would definitely stay here again, it's such a great deal and such a great way to experience Paris! -

The studio apartment was exactly as described and shown on the Vacation in Paris website. It was a small studio and well equiped and decorated in Ikea fittings and had a nice big window that looked out over the sqaure and to the Pompidou Centre which is very close by. Although we arrived at 8.00am and it had not been cleaned we were able to leave our bags and come back at 1pm. The only complaint I had was that the hot water was not as hot as I would have liked in the shower but it was fine in the kitchen. It is suitable for either a couple or single person. We stayed two weeks and spent a lot of time out and about but did cook some evening meals there and it was adequate.
Vacation in Paris was a very well organised and efficient company to deal with and the apartment was in an outstanding location very close to Forum Le Halles Shopping Complex, lots of boutiques, the Pompidou Centre, a supermarket, laundromat and surrounded by wonderful restaurants, bars and patisseries. The apartment is in a very secure complex and easily reached by two lifts. It is very close to all of the major sights particularly Notre Dame, St Germain area and the Louvre, as well as the nightlife in the Marais area. It is also very close to two Metro stations - Les Halles and Rambuteau. We would definately recommend the area as a great place to base yourself in Paris.

This apartment is in a very nice building in a great, lively and convenient neighborhood. On the top floor of an elevator building, we heard no noise from other apartments or from the outside when the windows were open. Very clean, and a comfortable queen-sized bed. Kitchen was well-equipped. It's small, and the pictures on the VIP website were very accurate.Our only complaint is that there was no soap for bathing -- since there was ample cleaning and dish soaps, it seemed odd and was annoying to have to go out and buy a bar of soap.

My son and I spent 6 days in this studio. It was very clean, efficient, and had a great location. The TV, internet and phone worked great. It is a small and spartan studio, great for sleeping and breakfast. A perfect Pied a terre in Paris. It is located less than a minute from the Pompidou center, close to Les Halles for easy access to the airports and has excellent shopping for all necessities (Monop, bakeries and cafes) all within a few steps. I highly recommend this studio for those that need safe, clean and convenient place to rest their heads and eat breakfast before exploring the wonders of Paris during the day.
