Spacious, Comfortable Home away from Home
Left on 01/23/2013 for a stay in September 2012
Down the street from Notre Dame Cathedral and a nice walk to The Louvre, Champs-Elysées and more! Located in a "hip" part of the city. Bathroom could not be larger! Home is comfortable, very clean and nicely decorated. Was wonderful to have a modern kitchen. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family!

IrvineNice apartment, but noisy neighborhood
Left on 01/10/2013 for a stay in October 2012
The apartment was large and lovely, well decorated, large bathroom. But, it's situated above a bar, which is very noisy late into the night. That forced us to keep the windows closed and run the air conditioner all night. Not a huge problem. There's a Metro stop (Arts & Metier) about 200 yards away, so that was convenient. The apartment is located on the second floor, and the stairs are narrow and steep.

Short Hills, NJPerfect Paris family hideaway
Left on 05/25/2012 for a stay in April 2011
Our stay at "Marais Haven" was very enjoyable. The location is excellent. We were walking distance to the Marais and the Pompidou. There were multiple Metro stations nearby to access all points of the city.
The apartment itself was very comfortable for a family of 5. My wife and I stayed there with our 3 boys ages 9,7,and 2. The bathroom was spacious and the shower ran without a hitch. There were grocery stores nearby for all necessities. Beds were comfortable and free wifi available.
The only potential downside is the noise at night from the bars downstairs.
All in all, this apartment met our needs to enjoy a comfortable, exciting Paris adventure. We could live like locals, but easily get to the tourist sights. -

We loved the Marais Haven apartment. It is very charming, comfortable, and in a great location. I can't imagine a better way to see Paris. We also need to mention the great customer service Yolanda and Tim provided. We were very impressed in every way with Cobblestay and will definitely use this company again when we return to Paris and will recommend to all our friends. thank you for making our stay in Paris so memorable!

My husband, myself and our three kids (ages 12, 10 & 7) stayed in this apartment for one week and it was the perfect place to spend our Paris vacation. The apartment was pretty and clean, the bedding and towels were nice, and the bathroom was large. There was good water pressure in the shower, and the kids loved the jacuzzi bathtub. We ate out most meals, but did bring in dinner a couple of times and would go out for croissants and eat them in the apartment each morning, so it was nice to have the kitchen and dining table. We loved the location - an easy walk to lots of shops and restaurants, and only about a 15 minute walk to Notre Dame. We also walked to the Louvre and Musee D'Orsay, but that is a bit further.
The only negatives, and they are minor, are the bar beneath the apartment and the laundry. While the street is quiet, the bar beneath the apartment can be noisy. However, not really a problem because the fan in the apartment completely blocked out the street noise. Also, the washer/dryer is very inefficient - clothes would be in the dryer for several hours and still damp. Again, really not a problem; we did small loads most days and let them dry on the rack overnight.
Overall, we loved this place and would definitely go back!! -

CaliforniaA Stay In Paris
Left on 10/10/2011 for a stay in September 2011
The apartment was exactly as pictured. It was extremely clean and very comfortable. We were met by Judy Miller right on time with the keys and loads of information. We spend weeks each year in Paris and have rented many properties-this was one of the best we have rented. Our party consisted of 3 persons-ages one 34 and 2 60.There was noise on wkend from bar below but owner supplied room a/c's that blocked the noise. There was a problem w/the washer/dryer and Yolanda (property manager?) responded immediately-unfortunately it could not be fixed before we left but she offered to reimburse us for taking our clothes to the laundry. The location of the apartment was the only drawback. It is in an area of wholesale bag shops. A larger grocery Monoprix was about 4 blocks away. It was quite a walk to the pedestrian area filled with restaurants, bars, bistros and shops. You definitely had to take the Metro to access most of the tourist sights and interesting areas to explore.

Left on 09/22/2011 for a stay in August 2011
You can easily walk to sights like the Notre Dame and all the cute shops and restaurants in the Marais. Anything else is very easy to access via Metro -- there are several convenient stops nearby, including Chatelet Les Halles, which is a major hub that will take you to most places you want to go. The apartment itself was large and comfortable, and the owner had thoughtfully included little things like an umbrella, a box full of converter plugs for your appliances, and a shelf full of Paris travel guides. The bathroom was enormous compared to most European bathrooms, and the bed was comfy. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to Paris.

Left on 09/14/2011 for a stay in August 2011
I truly felt like an american living in Paris rather than a tourist or traveler. This apartment and neighborhood exceeded my best expectations. The apartment was spacious and the furnishings authentic, useful and even luxurious. The kitchen worked very well for serving four people and made for a real living in Paris experience.
We all loved it. -

We had a great stay here. The apartment was well furnished and clean in a great location. The washer/dryer unit was a little tricky to work and the manager told us it goes on the fritz often. This worked for 3 people total. Great bathroom!

This is the Parisien way to go! The cute little apartment in Le Marais, which is an up-and-coming type of scene by itself, has an interesting touch of technology to its quaint and cute cobblestone environ. The cafes nearby are wonderful - very friendly to travelers, very appreciative of any effort I made to speak French. The boutique shops around Place Vosges were very nice to shop at. The museums were great as well - too bad the Picasso one is under renovation until next year!
Another thing we really liked about the location was that it was literally a two-minute walk from the Metro station - St. Sebatian-Froissart stop for Line #8. The subway system is extremely convenient to get everywhere in Paris.
Although we never had a chance to meet the owner of the rental, we were in constant communications. From the day of arrival in Paris up until we left, Caroline was very attentive to our questions. On the first day, she actually had the apartment ready for check-in way before the 4pm time. On our last day, she booked us an early cab which arrived very promptly at 4:15 in the morning. In between, she addressed all of our concerns and needs.
The flat itself is well furnished, and we particularly was happy that there was a washer/dryer system in the apartment. Although we never used it, it was a great backup plan to have. The shower offered great water pressure, although the heating could last a little longer. Though we rarely used the kitchen, it was completely outfitted with any kind of silverware and dishware necessary. One thing that was a bit bothersome but something we got used to after the second day was the cold floors. The living room/bedroom portion of the apartment had wooden floor, which was just fine. The bathroom/kitchen portion had tile floor, which was actually pretty cold, both at night and in the morning. I would suggest a nice pair of fuzzy slippers to counter that.
All in all, a fantastic little place to settle for a great visit to Paris! -

Was met at the apartment by Judy. She was great and showed us around the huge apartment. She also gave us some restaurant recommendations in the area and where the nearest metro stations were. The apartment itself was clean, large and modern. The location can't be beat - located a few blocks away from Pompidou Centre and Les Halles (a huge transit hub). We were also able to walk to Notre Dame, the Lourve & the Rivoli.
Would definitely recommend this to others! -

We really enjoyed this apartment and found the Cobblestay experience to be outstanding. A representative met us on time at the apartment and we were able to get the keys at 8:30 a.m. after our flight from Washington, DC. The apartment was in great condition and it looks as good in real life as in the pictures. The location is perfect.

A lovely modern clean fashionable apartment. Very homely and spacious, but it was advertised as being in a quiet street. This was certainly the case during the daytime but it is situated above a bar which became very noisy at night until about 2 am.

I stayed with 2 friends in this apartment in early Sept. Apartment is gorgeous- just like the pictures! I was also surprised at how large it was, since I expected most European apartments to be small. In such a trendy, safe neighborhood near many shops, restaurants. When I come back, I'd love to stay here again!

This property is in a great location within two blocks of two different metro lines and a 10-12 minute walk to the heart of the Marais or Chatalet. The condition of the property is outstanding, great furnishings, modern appliances, neat bathroom and Jacuzzi. It worked for our family of five as our kids are comfortable sleeping on pull outs in the living room and as a group we spend very little time in the aprtment during the day. The only drawback is that the apartment is located in a walkup on the middle of a narrow block which does not provide much natural sunlight and offers no view (but we knew what we were getting and beleive this is reflected in the price), through there is a great skylight with electric shade in the bedroom. Judy- the management agent met us on our arrival and was very helpful at getting us aquainted with the apartment as well as helping us later on during the week when we had a need for some logistical assitance.
From beginning to end, Cobblestay delivered an exceptional user experience. Great reservation system and personal communications, great follow up, the apartment was ready and clean as a whistle on our arrival. I do not see how a rental experience could be any better. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Paris and intend to rent a Cobblestay property again. There is no reason to look elsewhere. Merci!

Broadview Heights, OHGreat time was had in Marais Haven
Left on 08/19/2010 for a stay in August 2010
We stayed here in early August so a number of the restaurants and shops on rue des Gravilliers were closed for Summer Holidays. The street was quite quiet both during the day and night.
The apartment was beautiful with far more room than we expected. There was plenty of space for a family of five. We never felt like we were on top of each other. The kids found the fold out beds were among the most comfortable they had ever slept on.
The bathroom was as advertised, spectacular and bigger than most European hotel rooms.
The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, etc. The convection microwave oven was something new to us but the instructions that the owners provided with the apartment were very good and we had no problems using it or any of the other appliences.
Judy was very helpful when we moved in. She gave us a tour of the place and answered all the questions that we had.
It was a very enjoyable experience and I would have no reservations about staying here in the future. -
