Live your romantic experience of Paris in a contemporary top floor apartment. Fall in love with the view during the day and admire the city of lights at night. You will love the warm interior decorated with style and elegance. You will also appreciate its central location.

Up on the top (6th) floor, every room of this apartment has a window bringing light into the bright and colorful art gallery style space. The floors are beautiful, dark hardwood. The ceiling has original moldings and the windows are doubled paneled for peace and qui...et.

You will enjoy some of the artistic touches of Marcoville, a famous French glass artist. See the fish glass hanging sculpture above the dining room table.

The historic building has been modernized with a spacious elevator surrounded by the original staircase. The first thing you want to do is take a look at the large view from the living room where you can see the Eiffel tower, the Panthéon, the Seine river, and even the bateaux mouches! From the bedroom you can admire Paris rooftops and the clock tower of the Gare de Lyon train station.THE LIVING ROOM: features two big windows facing the Seine river.Furniture includes a full length sofa, two cozy pink armchairs, two coffee tables, an antique four drawer commode all surrounded by artwork such as paintings, glass sculptures and fine decorations. There is a flat screen LCD TV in the living room.

BEDROOM: separated by a door and hallway, the private bedroom features a double bed along the east orientation window facing a 4-mirrored wardrobe with plenty of closet space. There is a small TV with DVD player (dezoned for American DVDs) in the closet.

BATHROOM: large stand-up shower with a contemporary sink , WC and wall heater for towels.

OPEN KITCHEN/DINING ROOM: is trendy black and white, modern dining area where you can seat up to 6 people. It is one step away from the kitchen so you can enjoy your guests company while preparing meals.

The price per night listed above is our "average" price per night. Pricing fluctuates during the year based on length of your stay and the season in which you travel. We do not charge extra for additional guest. We have a 4 night minimum stay throughout the year (most agencies require a 7 night stay). The only fee associated with the booking is a $79.00 non-refundable damage wavier fee. We do offer early arrival and late departure for a nominal fee.   I stayed at this apartment with my teenage daughter. It is a lovely small apartment, but it is in the most boring neighborhood I've visited in Paris. Nearly everything was closed after 6pm, no nearby markets, etc. Most of the surrounding buildings are not old beautiful buildings, but 60's style block. The Seine view is off to the side and the Eiffel Tower is in the far distance. I believe that the description said that ti was in the Marais district. It is not. I travel most of the year and I have never before found it necessary to write a review. A vacation in any city is dependent less on the charm/decoration of the hotel/apartment and more on the neighborhood...this neighborhood gets a poor grade, sorry.

It is marked on the map and in the description that it is in the Bastille. This apartment is right up against the Seine and you can walk across the Pont d' Austerlitz into the 5th arrondissement.

  Our stay in Paris was perfect. Drew from Cobblestay and the property owner Michel, were very accommodating and easy to work with. The apartment was a perfect fit for what we needed-a home away from home while visiting Paris.
