This beautiful place is located in the ground floor of a very quiet neighborhood. It is just refurbished. It has a double bed in a french mezzanine, (1.40mt) and a double sofa bed at floor level. It can comfortably accommodate up to 2 guests until 04.
The open kitchen is equipped with electric hob, washing machine, microwaves oven and all you need for the occasional cooking.
The modern bathroom is decorated in old French country style. It has a hair dryer, a towel dryer and a shower.

LOCATION: QUARTIER LATIN VERY CENTRAL
The MOUFFETARD neighborhood is very little known to the occasional tourist. It is a little corner where you can live the true Parisian life! There, where Paris was born as LUTECE, lies one of the first streets of the city (Rue MOUFFETARD) which has kept its roots as an open market from the Middle Ages until today! Here the neighbors meet for breakfast under the morning sun, just before buying their fresh vegetables, cheese, wine, olive oil etc... The wonderful smell of the fresh croissants and patisseries mingle with the street artists who dance and sing on Sundays at the typical Parisian music! A very romantic start of the day for those who love Paris!!!

We stayed in La Closerie. It is in the same building, but has it’s own entry from the outside.
The perfect place to stay! The apartment is clean, comfortable and modern with nice furnishings. (it looks exactly like the photos - ttp://quartierlatinapartements.shutterfly.com/paris5me) Big comfortable bed and good pillows. There was access to the building and somewhere to leave our bags until check-in time.
It was easy to book over the internet and Dominique was great and supplied us with lots of helpful information and local knowledge.
There is a bakery almost next door. Many shops, cafes, supermarkets and restaurants in easy walking distance. 3 mins walk to buses and one metro line and 7 mins walk (up-hill) to another metro line. It was just so easy to get to where ever we wanted to go.
The washing machine was great, meant we could easily move on to our next destination with a bag full of clean clothes. Free wi-if (worked very well) and free local calls and also free calls back to australia.
After 2 separate six week trips traveling through Europe this is the best apartment we have stayed in. It was all the little extras that made this the perfect accommodation for our week in Paris.
You must stay here!
One thing to note the staircase down to the bedroom is a little on the steep side. It was no bother to us but at all may be for some people.Response from Dominique D - 06/01/2012

The service we received from Dominique was excellent from the moment we enquired about the availability of the studio until the day we left Paris and received our deposit back. She provided all the necessary information before our arrival (how to get there, keys, tips, etc.) and made our stay very comfortable.
We were delighted when we opened the door of the studio and found it very nicely decorated, clean and with all the necessary things to make our three-night stay special and comfortable. The concierge who lives next door was there when we arrived and told us that we could get in touch in case we needed anything.
The location is perfect. The area is nice and it is easy to get anywhere by bus and metro. There are bakeries, restaurants, bus stops, a Carrefour market and Le Gobelins metro station very close by. Rue Moufettard is only five minutes away so there are lots of choices for dinner after a long day of sightseeing.
We loved the feeling of going back to the studio every night and rest in our Parisian home. We have stayed in hotels in Paris in the past and after staying in this studio we will never consider staying in a hotel again.
The only little problem we had was that the sofa bed couldn't closed properly after the second night. We reported this to Dominique before leaving the studio and she said that it was going to be replaced that day. When we went back in the afternoon to collect our luggage, we were pleased to see that Dominique had already replaced the sofa bed!
We would definitely stay there again and would be very happy to recommend this little gem to all the people we know.Response from Dominique D - 04/16/2012

Dominique, thank you for sharing your beautiful Maisonette. From start to finish you made our stay in Paris straight forward and uncomplicated from the time of our first enquiry to when we left.We highly recommend this Maisonette. The area and locattion are perfect. The Maisonette is very clean, everything that you need is there. WiFi worked well and after a long day of sightseeing it was lovely to come "home" each day to peace and trsnquility. Everything is close by. The Boulangerie on the corner was excellent, Metro at Goblins takes you everywhere you need to go easily, Supermarket and phone shop up the road and Rue Mouffetard for lovely restaurants. It was like living as a Parisian. If we ever return to Paris we would definitly stay here again and will be telling all of our friends about La Maisonette. No faults - just perfect. Merci Beaucoup!

It was a wonderful experience in this maisonette. Everything was straight forward as previously promised. The keys were in a locked box by the door and the code was provided to us via email after paying in the deposit. The flat is on a ground floor and in a courtyard so therefore a bit dark inside with only 1 window, but in Paris you're always on your feet outside and come back only at night. The decoration was bright and lovely cosy. Bathroom as nice as the one you'd have at home. Clean, sparkly, warm and nicely scented. The location is very close to city center, only few minutes walk and you're either by Notre-Dame cathedral or St.Germain Boulevard. There are several bus stops, Cafes, Boulangeries (bakeries) even a Starbucks nearby! Only little disturbance was bright light from a some sort of student accommodation, were bright glare was to be seen up to 2am each night. You have curtains over there, but we are sort of people loving total darkness at night, so it was a bit disturbing. Apart from that, there was nothing to be bothered about. Clean, silent, cosy place to stay.
We had a lovely time and really would recommend this accommodation to anyone. Will never spend a night at a hotel again. Hope to be there next time as well. Thanks Dominique!
