The location of this apartment was excellent. The check in was very efficient and friendly. The apartment did look like the photos however the photos don't represent the state of the furnishings. The bathroom and bedroom were in good condition however the rest if the apartment left much to be desired.
Overall the apartment resembles that of staying at grannies. If you fancy staying at grannies while in Paris that would not be an issue. The cleanliness was a major issue. The utensils in the cabinet were obviously not washed for a long time, ditto with the glasses gathering cluster of dust. There were leftover meat and ice cresm in the freezer.The chairs and sofa was in a poor state. There is no lights in the kitchen. The nylon floor rugs have seen better days. The wifi does not work though there is sfr and freewifi options to select from only connection we had lasted less than 1 minute per day. -

Stayed at this apartment in early November with my wife and another couple. We are all in our 30s and this was my third time vacationing in Paris. Apartment was beautifully decorated (we're even going to borrow their design idea of exposed beams in the ceiling!). Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of space for two couples. Location couldn't have been better. Loved the free phone amenity. We will definitely return to Paris and will absolutely try to rent this apartment again when we do!
Also, the company that arranges the rental could not have been easier to work with. -

Great location. The apartment we had is not the one shown in this listing. Ours had only one bedroom, with one bed. lease says 2 beds with box springs. the stairway up 4flights of stairs is steep with badly worn treads. Furnishings very humble compared to the one pictured. No phone, no paper towels, no ironing board provided,as listed. We loved being in Paris so ignored the inconveniences of things that were missing. Since WiFi disconnects often would be nice to have a simple password for logging on. The sofa bed is a comfortable trade off.

I would give 4 1/2 stars if I could. Let me just start by saying that our stay here was really great and the reason fo 4 1/2 stars are a few minor issues. The location is amazing on Ile St. Louis right near Notre Damn and many other Paris hot spots. My wife and I loved the feel of the island and the opportunity to live like patrisians for a week.

Our family (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed in this apt for a week early July. It was at the end of 2 months in France staying mainly in vacation rentals, and during that time we've found that it is usually the little things that make the difference in how comfortable a stay is. This apartment might be fine for 2 people who intend to be out late every night but there were a lot of little problems / annoyances that for us added up - only one bedroom, not 2 as advertised; wifi is available but continually drops out; toilet door didn't close; no dustpan if want to sweep floor; bedroom light didn't work; shower curtain needed a wash (smelt of urine); no bedsheets provided for warm nights; pillows without covers; clothes drying rack broken; window shade blinds broken; only drinking glasses were wine glasses; no sharp knife or chopping board in otherwise well-stocked kitchen etc. The biggest problem though was the late night noise from the courtyard (restaurant staff emptying bins, chatting) and if on the sofa bed lots of noise from the stairs from neighbours coming and going and from the plumbing from other apartments. I ended up sharing bed with kids in the bedroom to get some sleep. The location is lovely but almost anywhere in central Paris is, and I'd try somewhere else next time.

This second floor apartment is in a fantastic location on the Ile de St. Louis, in the center of Paris, close to many beautiful sites, outdoor cafes, markets, and of course the Seine, with its wonderful riverside walks. Despite this, the apartment was quiet with very few street sounds being heard except for occasional sounds from the interior courtyard. It is a comfortable apartment for two people, somewhat less for four people in that it necessitates the use of a fold out sofa (of good quality) in the living room (this is the "second bedroom”), as well as having limited space for the placement of suitcase contents. It was clean, and well stocked with linens, towel, and kitchen equipment and appliances. Everything in the apartment worked fine, however the Wi-Fi was very weak, and required frequent log-ons, password re-entries, etc. The owner, Jean Francois, was easy to make reservations with and responsive to our needs, and providing very good directions to the apartment. Overall, a very good apartment in a fabulous setting!

As said in the headline, this was a great little place and the location is within walking distance of most major landmarks. The only thing that was a bit misleading was that the ad said that this was a 2 bedroom, but it's actually a 1 bedroom with a pullout sofa in the living/dining room area. The ad also said that there was a washer and dryer, but there was actually no dryer. Fortunately there was a drying rack that we found in the closet. Neither of these things were a big deal at all and I would still recommend this place to others, but felt that I should point out these minor discrepancies.

The flat is at easy walking distance from most places of interest. The area is very lively, full of restaurants, creperies and shops. Notre Dame is almost round the corner. It is great to cross the Seine every day in the morning and in the evening to walk back home!!! The flat is very well appointed, the washing machine and the dish washer worked wonderfully, the beds proved very comfortable and the linen fresh. It is on the second floor, when you get to the front door just push it open, the bells to the different flats are inside in the corridor. We did not know that and stayed outside ringing the only bell on the front door until the next door neighbour told us to push it open.
Jean Francois is very friendly and gave us advice on what to do and where to do the shopping. He even let us leave our luggage in the flat till our train time.
The only thing that could be improved is the wi-fi. It kept getting disconnected from time to time. However, it was easy to get online again. We will definitely rent it if come back to Paris. We did feel at home!!

The area is very quiet and lovely. Its very near to the metro, Quartier latin, Notre Dame etc.. We had a nice time with our children at Paris. Please visite the Tour Eiffel at night.

The house was very nice, and spacious for an appartment in Paris. The people who were there to welcome us were extremely nice. The house is situated in a lovely area : a Island with the river Seine close to subway (cite),shops and nice restaurents, Seine and Hotel de Ville. But, as in most cities, you have to bring earplugs. The area is quiet, We had a wonderful time. The owner was very punctual in responding to any queries I had via email and I would not hesistate to stay hwere again. Thank you very much for helping have a wonderful Parisian experience we will not forget.

The apartment is small for 5, but ideal for 3 persons. Very downtown, very close to everything in Paris. Apartment is fully equipped and there's anything you need in shops "around the corner".
