Large , very well equipped apartment, the bathrooms and kitchen were modern. It is less than 10 minutes walk from two metros. Collecting the key was very straight forward, partly because Patrick sends a very comprehensive information pack after you make your booking. Patrick is a very friendly and helpful person. He is on the ground floor of the building so when we needed to ask him questions we could find him.
We did enjoy the apartment for its convenience and allowing me and my family to experience what it's like be a Parisian for a week. -

Having stayed in some much smaller spaces in Paris this apartment was a joy. Loads of room, and that was with 6 of us staying. Very clean, tidy and great value too.
Few minutes walk to the nearest Metro which will take you anywhere, and near enough a main road to make it easy to get a taxi if you so wish. Handy little supermarket 2 minutes away, as well some great local patisseries and shops. A massive mall is nearby too.
Very friendly service, excellent information provided by Patrick on how to get to the apartment as well as all the local facilities.
Have already recommended this apartment to friends, and will stay here again when I'm next in Paris for sure. -

Searching online from half way around world, I found the photos of Patrick's little apartment, close to Chinatown, and was entranced by the simple contemporary sunny apartment. We traveled by car, so parking would be expensive, yet we were able to park within 2 blocks. The views out the windows were charming and the dogs enjoyed a little park, with nearby atm 3 blocks east. The apartment appeared a little "rougher around the edges" than the photos revealed, however, everything was in working order. A great price for what exceeded my expectations, as far as size, cleanliness and amenities. i really liked the quiet location and tall windows with lots of light. The stair climb was dicey in the dark, but strings of light on a short timer helped once we figured out the timing. Patrick was clear, kind and professional, all the way through our experience. Would definitely stay again...

Since the beginning of inquiry for the availability of the apartment, Patrick has made it quite easy for us to get the information about the apartment and the neighbourhood and also to get to the apartment. There are two apartments for rent in the same building and we got the one on the second floor. We were 5 (2 of which are above 60) and I should say that the apartment is comfortable enough for 5 people to stay. It was quite clean, spacious and had everything we needed. There is a supermarket nearby and also bars, bakeries and eateries within 5 min. walk. It takes about 10 min. to walk from the nearest Metro station (Porte d'Italie) to the house.

Other photos & reviews convey adequately. Our "trip logistics" may provide additional information for varying traveler requirements:
- Group of 3 adults with 2 medium-sized dogs
- We drove & therefore used our vehicle as transportation (in addition, we took the dogs everywhere so we opted not to attempt the metro)
- Stayed for 5 nights on the 3rd floor apartment (which is actually the "4th floor" by american standards)
The apartment was spacious & the 2 separate bedrooms (on opposite sides of the apartment) were a welcome change from a crammed Parisian hotel room. The photos are accurate in depicting the features/amenities of the apartment, however, they appear a bit outdated. Some of the reviews disclosed the apartment was renovated in 2009 or 2010; by 2012, the apartment is showing some 'wear'. (Though nothing that would preclude me from renting here again or recommending it; it was just that upon first inspection, the apartment didn't "dazzle" as the photos showed.) I expected the apartment to be a bit cleaner (there were water spots on most appliances/countertops and dust had accumulated on various surfaces), but the linens appeared fresh & clean. There were various used kitchen items for use (coffee filters, cereal, sugar, honey, etc), as well as used toiletries. ***The photos depict a Nespresso/Nescafe coffee machine in the kitchen. During our stay there was only an american-style coffee pot.
- The internet was fast & worked throughout the apartment.
- The staircase is quite narrow & old (might pose a challenge for those carrying a lot of luggage or those with issues climbing lots of stairs).
- The apartment is located in the 13th arrondissement, just outside the Boulevard Périphérique. Since the apartment was further from the center, we were generally able to find curbside parking in the neighborhood within a block or 2. Patrick mentioned there is a parking garage nearby, but these are usually 25 euro/night & a longer walk to get to/from. It took approximately 30-40 minutes to drive to our sightseeing destinations in the center of Paris.
- While we did not find any restaurants within walking distance nearby, we really enjoyed dining in nearby Chinatown (also in the 13th arrondissement). The possibilities are endless and the pricing is generally better than typical French fare.
- Though we weren't able to socialize with Patrick as other guests did, he was extremely responsive & quick to all our e-mails and requests. -

Great rental accomodation - a bit far from metro so bring walking shoes! Excellent host though and very reasonably priced. Amenities were great too, bedrooms spacious and comfortable. Bakery around the corner is great even though staff are a bit eclectic. We will be back for sure!

This is a spacious, light and airy apartment with bars, eateries and shops all near to hand.
Easy access to transport
Patrick and his son Pierre were very helpful and quick to get back to us with any information we requested. Would happily return here on future visits to Paris -

Patrick has 2 apartments in this building and has done a great job of renovating both of them. They are modern, spacious and comfortable. A short walk to the metro and 20 minute ride and you're in the centre of Paris. Supermarket and large shopping centre is literally 5 minutes walk. Patrick is friendly, accommodating and helpful without being intrusive. My husband and I stayed here with a friend and this particular apartment could accommodate 3 more people comfortably. We highly recommend this rental to everyone. We were able to view the 2nd floor apartment and that was even nicer than this one. Thanks for a great stay, Patrick. See you next time we're in Paris!
