This apartment was very clean and modern and close to all sorts of food shops whether you wanted to self cater or eat out. Close to several Metro stations. Lift was a great bonus.
The host was punctual and courteous and spoke English.The kitchen bench space is a bit inadequate if you are cooking for yourself. It was quiet most of the time. We would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay in Paris. -

At first: the apartment looks like it is shown on the webpage.
I stayed there for three wonderful nights - the bed is very good and large. The bathroom is really comfortable and also suitable for very tall people.
The flat is located in one of the most famous streets on Montmartre - la rue des abbesses. Here you find a lot of nice cafes, restaurants and shops. You have two Metro stations in 5 min walking distance. Kitchen is very small but equipped with everything you need if you don't want to cook a four course meal. -

We stayed at this apartment last September 2012 for 3 days with our 9 month old baby. it was very clean, spacious enough for our baby to move around. Cute kitchen with everything you need. Lionel was very nice. The only downside is the elevators do not work, so caring a baby and luggage’s is not the best situation.

It was the first time I'd ever rented an apartment and ended up choosing this one based on a recommendation by a couple of friends who had stayed here recently. I stayed for 17 days so really got a flavour of the neighbourhood.
The location is great - 5 min walk to the abbssess metro station and the streets are lined with quaint cafes, cheese stores and clothing stores. Lively even at night so it wasn't worrying when walking back late by myself but the bedroom window faces the inner courtyard so it is fairly quiet. The apartment itself is compact but very clean and looks exactly like in the pictures. The shower water pressure was perfect and the bed was comfortable.
I didn't get a chance to meet Lionel or his business partner since they were away but Lionel was very responsive to emails and his associate met me at the apartment on my arrival and was very friendly. The elevator (2 person max, or 1 person + 1 suitcase) was fixed and operating during my stay which was much appreciated because even though I always took the stairs down in the morning, it would have been tiring walking up them every evening ... especially on the last day when I was dragging my suitcase around.
Overall, highly recommended. -

Perfect location, less than 5 minute from Moulin Rouge, 200 mtrs away from the subway. Located in a very crowded street but facing inwards which is perfect for sleeping.
Very clean and new. Perfect check-in. Enjoyed Paris. No doubt ill recommend apartment to friends.
Note that there are currently repairing the restaurant just below with the inconvenience of having the pavement closed and a bit of noise during the day.

Had a great 3 night stay, modern and very clean apartment located on a very lively street with every thing you could need close by.
We had the good fortune to arrive during the Food and wine festival with lots of parades and free food and wine tasting on our street.
Culminating in a spectacular 15 minute fireworks display in front of Sacre Couer .
Our meet and greet host was very helpful and spoke good English.
The only observation we would make is that if your stay is longer than 3 nights, Travel lightly, wardrobe space is very limited

A friend and I stayed in the apartment for a long weekend. The location's great, shops, cafés, bakeries and many little restaurants nearby. The appartment is exactly as described and as you see it on the photos. Next time, I'd rent it for a week - it costs hardly more than for a few days.

I enjoyed my stay at this apartment. It was clean and well-maintained, exactly as shown in the photos. It was conveniently located with shops and the metro stop nearby. Lionel was really helpful and accommodating as well. The lift was undergoing maintenance repairs while I was there, but it was easy enough to walk up the stairs.

A spacious, modern apartment

The apartment we stayed at was around a 5-10 minute walk (uphill) from the Blanche station (in the Montmartre region). It wasn't too difficult to find, but there was no buzzer for us to contact the suite. Thankfully, just as we arrived at the apartment, Lionel came down and opened the door for us, so we weren't standing outside for long.
The apartment itself was clean, brightly lit, and fairly spacious. The kitchen area was small, but functional. The washroom and bed area were pleasant (it was nice having a real, queen-sized mattress instead of two twins pushed together). We did have a couple of minor issues during our stay, but Lionel was quick to respond to our needs.
Overall, we were satisfied with our stay at this apartment. My husband and I would consider staying there in the future. -

This is a kind of late review as I promised the owner I left a note here but forgot until today when I went through old emails:-)
We have been renting from the owner Lionel for 3 years now. The previous years we stayed in the appartment rue andre antoine and were very satisfied with our choice. But this time after talking with Lionel we decided to try this appartment instead. The appartment is ideally located in rue des abbesses, almost at the corner with rue Lepic, which is the best part of Montmartre in my opinion. It is well appointed and very quiet. I found it a bit less spacious than the one in rue andre antoine but I liked the location even better and the standard was very good and approximately the same than the other appartment. I still have a hard time deciding which one I liked best but one thing is certain, we will be staying again in one of Lionel's appartments the next time we are in Paris.

Small studio on the fourth floor. It's quiet and comfortable for one or two people who are looking to spend their nights there to get a good sleep. Kitchen is not set up for serious cooking, but was enough for us to have breakfast, and there are lots of grocery stores close by to stock up the fridge. Bathroom was decent size. Tv had mostly French language channels, but also a few English language news channels. Internet connection was fast enough to make VoIP calls, so we didn't need to get a cell phone.
The bad: Unit is on the fourth floor, and the elevator didn't work. The DVD player also did not work.
The good: The location of the apartment is excellent. Stores and restaurants right outside the place. Subway stations abbesses and Blanche are within 5 - 10 minute walk, so you can quickly get to anywhere in Paris.Response from Apartments For You - 08/26/2012

Groovy little apartment in the heart of Montmartre. Lionel was very responsive from the very first contact and this gave us full confidence. This apartment is especially well located; just a stroll from the Metro. You fall out the door and into great little cafes, restaurants and a range of fromageries, charcuteries, patisseries... and walk down Rue abesses turn the corner and look up to Sacre Coeur.

I will comment on how it was with a baby which might be helpful for others.
Pros
- very nice apartment - exactly like pictures
- Lionel was great and accommodating
- Kitchen has everything needed. Which is a major plus because we ate in alot with having to be back for the baby to sleep. ( No oven though. )
- Internet is fast
- lots of space in the very nice bathroom ( this comes in handy later )
- the neighborhood is the best thing about this apartment. There is a really good butcher, bakery and grocery store right outside the door. Great for picking up a meal to eat at night. Also Sacré-Cœur is right down the street a nice 15 min stroller one morning. Boulevard de Clichy is there with all american amenities if you want that type of things. ( A Starbucks is nice every once in awhile because the French coffee is great but really small :)
- there is a fan above the stove which is handy to create a bit of static noise for the baby as it is really quiet other wise.
Cons
- If elevator is broken it is really awkward to get stroller and baby stuff up and down small stairs. Also the lights are on a timer and go out right in the middle of you carrying the stroller and groceries up. It is pitch black if the lights go out night or day.
- We had to put the baby in the bathroom until it was time to go to sleep as there wasn't really anywhere else. Not a huge deal as the bathroom is very nice.
- TV and DVD player not amazing. Not to many "good" channels if you are in for the night and looking for something to watch. Dvd player had a few issues ( Lionel you probably should replace it soon. )
- Not sure why but it was kind of warm in the apartment. We had the very big window open most of the time which is ok but at night was not as easy because the windows have to be shut in order to use the blinds. ( Which you may want to use for Romantic evenings in Paris ;)
Overall we were really happy with this apartment and enjoyed being there.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is on a very active street with restaurants, cafes, boulangerie, fromagerie etc. Yet the apartment was very quiet and peaceful. In the evenings we might go up to here buskers on the steps of the Sacre Coeur, attend the evening vespers there where the nuns lead a beautiful musical liturgy then step out of the sanctuary to watch the Eiffel tower sparkle in the distance. We recommend the apartment highly.

Very nice and lively neighborhood, the apartment was nice and simple and clean, set in a great neighborhood, you have everything close to you, from different wine and cheese shops to restaurants and boulangerie and clothing stores, etc. Very close to metro station. The apartment itself doesn't have good natural lighting and since it's very small it's not a very pleasant place to stay in during the day, but we didn't mind it, because we were there mostly to sleep at night, and it's comfortable and quiet. Overall I think it was a very nice and easy rental experience.

This was an amazing apartment! Location was good - very close to the metro. The bathroom was clean, spacious with a great shower (three shower heads!). The bed was comfortable. Great, big windows opened onto a quite inner court yard so you could sleep with the windows open and not be disturbed. The kitchen utensils were a bit bare - no cutting board or knives for example. Making it slightly more challenging to enjoy the hot baguette and cheese from the local shops - but we managed. The booking process was simple and emails were responded to promptly. The elevator is broken - so two flights of stairs up and down. There is construction in the building, so if you were planning on sleeping in on weekdays that will be a challenge.

The Montmartre neighborhood was the perfect location in Paris! Transportation to all the "must see" sites was easily available using the Metro. Within a block of the apartment we were able to purchase food for breakfast and gourmet dinners, which were quick to prepare in the kitchenette. We spent most of a day exploring the immediate neighborhood. The Montmarte cementary is worth a visit and the climb up the hill to the Basilique du Sacre Couer provides a magnificent view of the city. The apartment accommodates three people.

The pictures you see in the ad is exactly what you get. Now the location if you want to live like a Parisian this the place,one step out of the door to your right you have a fresh fish restaurant and next to that I a fresh fruit and vegetable stand and you can smell the strawberries 2 blocks away now to your right you have a cheese shop and many other great stores. Now here comes the best right across the street there a restaurant called " Cafe Bruant" Now Lionel had recommend a few great places but we fell in " love" with this place the food is out of this world !!! Also the metro is 3 blocks away walking by more great stores pastry shops etc. The metro to all the great sites are all about 25 min.
Now here is the best service ever the day we need to leave and go to part 2 of our stay in Paris is was raining and I tried to get a taxi for about a hour so me and my girlfriend said lets call Lionel and get this he had a taxi there in 9 min wow... That's service!! I can not say much more that this place is great!!! -

My husband says that the decision to rent this apartment rather than a hotel room during our recent trip to Paris was the best decision we could have made - and I agree! We loved this apartment! We felt more like citizens than tourists. The apartment is just as lovely and clean as the photos portray, if not more so. There are three metro stations conveniently located nearby. We walked and used the metro all week without any problems. The street on which the apartment is located is adorable, lined with cute cafes and charming bakeries. The queen size bed is super comfortable and the bathroom is very spacious. The free WiFi was strong and we had no trouble connecting. Lionel was so helpful in recommending places to eat and directions to different locations. It was so nice to have a "home" to go back to at the end of long, exhausting days, rather than a cramped hotel room. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything about this apartment was perfect, the location was fantastic - close enough to the action but away from the traffic and packed tourist streets but with lovely bars and restaurants aplenty. Everything was very well spec'd, really comfortable and very clean. Even though we booked very last minute our contact person was easy to contact - and very friendly. We had an amazing time - it really couldn't of been any better - have already recommended to a friend.

I stayed in this apartment for 3 days just before Christmas 2011. I shared the apartment with my parents and we found the accomodation to be very clean, modern, comfortable, well appointed and spacious.
The apartment is based in the Montmartre area which is so lovely and you can literally walk out of the front door into a thriving little artistic community full of lovely shops, markets and cafes/restaurants.
The owner Lionel is also fantastic and met us on arrival. He showed us around the apartment and how all the appliances worked. In addition to this he marked the Metro stations close by on a map and recommended good quality, local restaurants and taxi services etc.
On all levels we had a fantastic experience and can not recommend this option highly enough. I'm a seasoned traveller and have very high standards and this apartment and the service provided by Lionel exceeded my expectations -

Apartments For You were extremely helpful and efficient, allowing us to rent the apartment at very short notice as we had another booking cancelled 4 days before we were due to arrive.
The apartment was small but nicely decorated and overall very good value. The location was fantastic with lots of lovely cafes, bars, shops and interesting sites close by. We were very happy with the apartment overall and would recommend it. (Although they could do with buying a couple of wine glasses for the kitchen and perhaps some bean bags or something comfortable to sit on!) -

The service was perfect. First time in my travellife, that W-LaN made noch problems at all. Everything was fine in the apartment. If you leave the apartment you are at once in a superbe Paris-atmosphere with nice cafés, bistros, shops and not far away from the next metro station.

It was not the first time I stayed in one of their apartments and of course not the last time(!), but the first time in this one. I past 5 days in mid september for a business stay. The apartment is very well located at the rue des abbesses, it is chic and modern, very well maintained, has a wonderful shower, a comfy bed, is really quiet (as long as the neighbour is not singing Italian songs throughout the courtyard... ;-)...No! that is absolutely not disturbing, it is very charmful!)
I really recommend it (and I know so many possibilities to stay in Paris because it was almost my 50iest stay in the city of lights...).

Chices, sehr zweckmäßig eingereichtete appartement. Allein die Kochnische ist so klein, dass man sie besser nicht benutzt. Das ist bei der Lage der Wohnung allerdings áuch nicht nötig.
Was schön wäre: echte Lappen um das Bad/ die Küche zu wischen. Die zur Verfügung gestellten Einmaltücher erfüllen den Zweck nur mäßig. -

The location is super great, the street is full of coffee shops and nice atmosphere.

it does have everything you need for a romantic getaway in Paris...but I wouldn´t recommend it for more than a couple or maybe a couple with a small child, but not more than that because it´s not really big.

our apartment was perfect. great location clean spacious and comfortable . and great service from the owners they met us to help us in to the apartment when we arrived and explain where everything was and were very helpful with any questions we had. i thoroughly recommend apartments for you
