Austin, TXGreat Location in Paris
Left on 08/05/2012 for a stay in June 2012
The apartment is located in the middle of everything we wanted to do. We even decided to skip the Paris bus tour when we realized 90% of it went to sites near the apartment (i.e., the Louvre, Notre Dame, etc.). There is a subway stop and a grocery store just a few blocks away. The apartment is older and a little small (as are many apartments and hotel rooms in Paris) and up several flights of stairs but there was no problem accommodating our family of four. There is a television and fast WiFi. Walking out to be greeted by the Seine every morning was definitely a plus.
Jerome was very helpful and always there when we needed extra towels or advice on where to eat out in the neighborhood. When we had an issue from something that had been done by a previous tenant he resolved the matter immediately. Jerome also helped us coordinate our taxi ride to the airport which was a big help since we do not speak French.
All in all a great addition to our incredible Paris experience. -

The Louvre and the River Seine are literally steps away. The apartment is situated between Pont Neuf and Louvre-Rivoli metro stations. The Notre Dame, Hotel de Ville, Tulleries and other major attractions are all within walking distance. There is a grocery and bakery nearby and we were able to make home-cooked meals as opposed to dining out for our whole week's stay in Paris.
Jerome, the owner, was very helpful and patient with us. We were late checking into the apartment because of Eurostar delays but he waited for us and helped us take our suitcases up. He gave us many tips about the city and he was always available when you try to contact him. Overall, we had a wonderful experience staying at this apartment.Response from jerome pariente - 12/11/2011

The location of this apartment was brilliant. It was close to everything we wanted to see and we could easily walk to most of the tourist sites we were interested in. There were plenty of lovely cafes and restaurants close by so choosing where to have breakfast, lunch or dinner was easy. Jerome was very helpful. He met with us on arrival and was available to answer any questions we had. He also told us we could email or call us throughout our time in Paris if we needed assistance. He was very kind in organising our travel arrangements when leaving (very helpful when you don't speak French). Although the apartment was on the small side, we had 4 adults that were comfortable in the space. We weren't spending our time in the apartment much anyway so the size of it wasn't an issue at all. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend this apartment to our family and friends.

Left on 10/20/2011 for a stay in October 2011
Jerome was at the apartment when we arrived. We were late due to delays on the Eurostar but he was very welcoming and even came down to help us up with our luggage (the apartment is on the second floor - walk up, no lift as described on website).
We were travelling with our 13 month old son and when booking, I organised a baby cot via Jerome. He was so kind and had not only set the cot up but he'd made the bed up with sheets and duvet and there was even a little stuffed toy on the bed.
The apartment is in a great location within walking distance of all the main sights and areas like St Germain and the Marais. We would not call it a luxury apartment (we'd also describe it more as 'redecorated' rather than 'renovated') but it is clean and has everything you need. Jerome is a fantastic apartment owner and nothing is too much trouble.

Ottawa, CanadaGreat location and an excellent value for money
Left on 09/07/2011 for a stay in May 2011
The apartment is on the 3rd floor (to a N. American), up two flights of stairs from an interior courtyard. Fronting onto the courtyard rather than the main street, the apartment is quiet with no traffic noise. There is one reasonably large bedroom and one small bedroom, certainly sufficient for the couple who stayed with my wife and I. The kitchen is small but adequate - without an oven though. There was a washing machine and a drier and I think it would be wise to have instructions for them - very different from N. American varieties.
The living room was comfortably furnished; however, while there was a coffee table there was no real dinning room table. All-in-all, we found the apartment comfortable, clean, and convenient.
The location is wonderful, right on the Seine next to the Louvre, a short walk to Notre Dame, we were right in the centre of the area we wanted to see - couldn't have been better.
Their is a television in the living room - and WiFi for the computer - both worked well and were included at no extra cost.
Jerome, the landlord, is very helpful and pleasant. While I might be hesitant in using the word "luxury" when describing the apartment, it is well worth the price and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. -

Location is everything and this flat couldn't be better. We stayed as a family and it was great to be able to wander along to all the major attractions some only minutes away, such as the Louvre, Pompidou Centre and Notre Dame. Paris Plage is right outside the door, great when footsore and wanting a break you can go and lie on a "beach" and watch the world go by.
The flat is off a main road so I had worried about noise but it was to the back of the building and perfectly quiet.
Late night stores nearby to stock up on supplies and a big bonus in the heat of summer a full sized freezer and fridge to keep everything in. The kitchen is small but I was still able to cook up full dinner for the family a couple of nights, when not sampling the many restaurants nearby, again within a pleasant evening stroll from the flat.
Jerome meet us on arrival and was very helpful providing maps and guides to the city, the flat was clean and tidy and even had tea/coffee provided to get you started. -

Yes this apartment is ideally located but the owner needs to update his advertisement. The extras that are advertised aren't there like a DVD player, computer game console or phone. The washing machine did not work properly and the apartment is grubby. I don't think it had been properly cleaned before my arrival. The owner was still putting on the bed linen when i arrived and yet when he fininshed in the room there was still rubbish under the bed. The bathroom needed a good cleaning as there was hair in bath plug, the toilet seat needs replaced as it was hanging off. I was disapointed but on the plus side it is centrally located and only a short walk to all attractions.

I'm really sorry to read your reviews and I must say that I am quiet choked by what you wrote. About the DVD player and the video game I used to have them in my place but they have been broken in the first months so I decided to cancel these divices concidering that is not essential to enjoy Paris. On the other part wich is the most important one, I would really appreciate you to tell me before and I would accomodate somethig for you and have the place done once again and properly under my personal watch. The cleaning lady was a new one just for early august, I was not happy with her work so I cancelled our colaboration. You must know if you read all the previous reviews that I am really attached to the confort and wellness of my guest and I'm quiet fast to react if there is any kind of problem and I have been awarded by Flipkey for the quality of my services.

This was a perfect place. Not only was the residence itself beautiful and clean, but the location is absolutely unbeatable. No hotel could be more central to Paris than here. Almost everything you want is within walking distance. We got up in the morning and walked 2 blocks away to get fresh croissants, a late night creperie was right next door, and we would just walk across the Seine to get oysters from Huitrerie Regis.
Jerome was professional, kind, understanding and has a very cute dog as well. A wonderful owner.
Next time we go to Paris, we will certainly be staying here. Like we have a place in Paris!Response from jerome pariente - 08/13/2011

My husband and I, along with another couple, recently stayed in this apartment in Paris.
Although the kitchen area is small, we only ate breakfast in the apartment.
The best feature of this apartment is its location- being so central to all the sightseeing attractions in Paris we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. The only times we needed to catch public transport was to visit Galleria LaFayette and Sacre Coeur, and then the bus stop was nearby.
There are many restaurants nearby and also a handy supermarket just a couple of hundred metres away.
Jerome was an excellent host- before our holiday he was very prompt in replying to my emails. It was the first time we had used Flipkey so I was a little unsure of procedures. (I would certainly use it again!) On arrival Jerome was there to meet us and was very helpful with planning our stay and on-going train travel.
We all enjoyed our stay in this apartment and would certainly consider staying there again on a future holiday in Paris. -

The apartment was very clean and easy to reach except building has no lift. The washer was an added bonus. The near by restaurant and Louvre Museum were value-added. The apartment was very quiet. Ideal for 4 but 5 could easily manage the space. Thanks for a great place to spend a few days in a great city at a good price

The best things about this apartment are definately it's amazing location and it's lovely owner Jerome, who was so friendly and easy to deal with. We stayed for 4 nights and though we found the apartment a little on the small side for us, thought it would be perfect for 2-3 people. The apartment was very secure, clean and nicely furnished and was located in a typical Parisian building, which made us feel more like locals rather than tourists.

First,I would like to compliment Mr.Pariente on his professionalism. His assistant met us at the apartment on time and was very helpful. The location was outstanding, across the street from the Siene river and the Louvre. Plenty of restaurants and shopping just out the door. The apartment was really nice the kitchen had all the utensils needed to prepare breakfast and lunch for a family of five(5).The beds were extremely comfortable and the building was clean and quiet. I had stayed in another apartment in Paris before and this was "head and shoulders"above it. I definetly would stay there again on future trips to Paris.

Left on 05/05/2011 for a stay in April 2011
Stayed at Jerome's apt in early april, 2011, but only for 2 nights. Comfortable apt for family of 5 (3 adult children),but the main feature was location - 1 block away from the Louvre, 4 Blocks to Notre Dame, on the Seine river just above Pont Nuef bridge, with 1 block walk to metro station. Numerous sidewalk cafes in the area, including one just beside the entrance that had great breakfast crepes! Jerome was there to meet us and provide instructions and keys spare city maps, along with hint on where to find the nearest market. Jerome had provided good directions to the apartment and detailed instructions on access. Apt details : 2nd floor walkup apt, away from street (quiet); working wireless (amazing how connected we need to be!!); tiny kitchen area (but we didn't eat in the apt), comfortable beds in the 2 bedrooms and the 2 sons (23 & 25) seemed to have enough room on the convertible living room sofa. Jerome was flexible on exit time and we were able to leave bags in the apt on our last day (we were on the 6:00 pm train to Rome). Since it was a short stay for our family, we were being tourists most of the time and didn't spend much time in the apt. The size might be a concern if it were a longer stay or if we were trying to eat meals or were in the apt for extended time.
An added unadvertised bonus is that a Hospital emergency room is about 4 blocks away (right by Notre Dame)...minor medical visit, but it was convenient. -

We could not have chosen a more beautiful place to stay in Paris. The location is great, just across the Seine and minutes from the Louvre museum, we were able to discover the Paris of our children who have fallen in love. Historic sites, shopping, greal local restaurants and beautiful nearby vistas all around the apartment. Thank you Jerome for your hospitality and your help to discover these wonderful places. We are definately coming back!

Wow! It was so great to step out the front door and have the Seine in front, the Louvre just a block away, and to be just a short walk to Notre Dame and the metro (Pont Neuf or Louvre-Rivoli). Unfortunately our plane was delayed and the RER was out of service, so we were 4 hours late arriving and Jerome had to wait with no way to reach us. Thankfully he was patient and let us in and made us feel welcome. He was very helpful and even arranged for a taxi to pick up the 6 of us on our last day. Jerome's English is excellent and when we let him know we needed some kitchen items (more silverware and a pitcher) he was quick to accommodate us.
The apartment is small for six, but workable. (We had 2 couples and 2 teens.) The toilet area is very small but it was nice having it separate from the bathtub and sink. The beds are not King size. They are doubles... or at least what we call doubles in the U.S. Jerome gave us directions to the grocery store and we used the kitchen for simple meals. (There is a stove top, microwave, and refrigerator but no kitchen table to eat at.) There is a close Boulangerie and we loved getting our breakfasts there. The apartment was up two flights of stairs and was very quiet and secure. While maybe not luxurious compared to the Ritz, it was clean and comfy/cozy. I hope some day I get back to Paris and I'd stay there again in a heartbeat! -

Very nice flat in a house on the embankment just 2 houses from Louvre. Located in an old house so you can feel real parisian life from the inside. It's easy to go everywhere without using transport, everything is close to the flat. And besides owner is a cool guy always ready to help you. So our stay was very pleasant, I liked it more than previous stay in a 4*** hotel in Paris.

First of all you are right on the Seine... one block from the Louvre! You cant get any better than that and just a 10 min walk to Notre Dame. The beds were very comfortable and very quiet inside the apartment. The kitchen is small- but it worked for us. There is not a dining table but a breakfast bar with two chairs. We love to eat our ways through cities so this wasnt an issue for us as we went out for dinner every night but one. It was a perfect apartment for us to explore everything by foot except for the Eifel Tower but there are several metro stations very near. We even took the train out to Disney Paris as the trainstation RER was a 10 min walk away. Very convenient also for getting to and from the airport this way. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend renting from the owner as he is very friendly, accomodating and helpful. I have already recommended this place to all my European friends.
