Very nice and well equipped apartment in a very happening part of town with cafe's, bars, restaurants and grocery stores as well as different food specialty shops all just around the corner. Metro line is a 1-2 minute walk. The young owner/manager (Vincent) was very nice, professional and helpful- appreciated the kindness of coming by the night before we left to check on us and return our deposit. The apartment has everything you need for a nice stay- frig, stove/oven, coffee maker, dishwasher, clothes washer/dryer, etc. Quiet at night and slept well. Truly, the whole experience was a positive one and I would gladly return. Thanks so much Vincent!!

The price, the location, the owner...all of it was wonderful! This was my first time renting a property for vacation, and I have zero regrets. Vincent was charming and helpful; the flat was perfect for us - four adults and two children. The walking street around the corner has grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants, etc. The flat's washer/dryer was invaluable, and having two bathrooms meant no issues getting ready for a day of sightseeing. We loved being able to phone the us for free from the flat phone. I can't recommend this rental enough if you are looking for local flair and convenience!

Montreal, CanadaClean, well-equipped apartment in a perfect location.
Left on 03/11/2013 for a stay in March 2013
This apartment was the ideal place to stay for 3 adults & 3 teenagers. The king-sized beds were very comfortable and the single sleep sofas were cozy also. Great linens. Kitchen was small but very serviceable, so nice to have some staples already available (dish soap, salt & pepper, olive oil, etc.). The location is truly ideal. The nearby streets are filled with shops for food & drink, pharmacies and restaurants, bistros & cafés. The nearest Métro is only 3 minutes away and it only takes 10 minutes to walk to the Louvre. I hope to return to Paris again soon and will most definitely stay here again. Vincent was kind and helpful, made our experience easy and pleasant. Elevator is very small, as is WC - not suitable for very overweight/obese and/or claustrophobic travelers.

We (4 girlfriends in our 50s & 60s) stayed here the week of September 28-October 4. We loved it! Vincent was wonderful to work with and everything went smoothly. While the room with the toilet is minuscule, there are 2 rooms with sinks and showers so getting ready with 4 women worked out fine. We loved looking out our windows at the street below. This is the perfect apartment if you want to experience the real Paris. Rue Montorgeuil is alive from sun up to late evening with Parisians going about their day. To head for the sites though, the Sentier Metro station is about 2 blocks away.

We arrived after a long flight and Vincent was there waiting for us.
The appartment is in such a great spot, you can just walk to The Louvre and jump on the 'hop on hop off' bus. The decor was nice and modern. We also felt very secure.

This apartment was wonderful. What more could you ask for!! Fantastic location, restaurants all around, very comfortable bedding, great showers and cooking facility's if you need them. But eating out is just so easy with what is on offer just around the corner, and the choices...
Everything is close by from supermarkets to the metro or just walk to all the wonderful sites Paris has to offer.
Vincent was welcoming and most helpful.
Please do yourselves a favor stop trawling the net for apartments and book this one. You won't be disappointed. -

Vancouver, CanadaWell designed apartment in a great neighbourhood
Left on 08/02/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We were really pleased with staying in this very well designed and well priced apartment for our family of 5 (with 3 kids). It is nicely laid out, contemporary and comfortable. It is located in a busy pedestrian neighbourhood which was really fun for just people watching, buying your day's baguette, and wandering around to explore the stores. The only downside really is that the pedestrian neighbourhood is active into the night, which is also part of its charm but can be noisy. It is also very close to Metro stations which was very convenient for Paris touring. The owner was very helpful and super responsive and helped us with little but important things like booking the cab for our early trip to the airport etc. We've been in Paris three times now, and this apartment and its neighbourhood has been our favourite. We highly recommend it!

Left on 04/30/2012 for a stay in October 2011
As a family of 6 travelling to Paris for a week for the first time we could not have wished for a better place to stay than Vincent's apartment. Starting off with easy reservations and friendly advice from Vincent even before we arrived in Paris and right through to checking in and explanations of the apartment, the area, the suggestions and the tips we were off to a good start. At the checkout Vincent was not there and we were a bit worried about getting our deposit sent home but of course it all worked out. The place was tastefully furnished, clean, well looked after and fully equipped with all that we needed. We even loved the quaint 2 man elevator. The single toilet was the only thing that could be improved on. The location was perfect being in walking distance to so many attractions and at the same time being in a relatively quiet area filled with restaurants. Definitely recommend to all.

60958Spacious Newly Renovated Flat in Great Location
Left on 02/21/2012 for a stay in October 2011
I stayed here for 10 days with my mom and dad in October; for 3 people the apartment had plenty of space and was very comfortable. All the furniture/appliances/finishings were brand new and the apartment was very clean and minimal. We ate breakfast in the flat everyday because we could walk just around the corner and buy freshly baked pastries and amazing fruit, figs, and raspberries- then we could walk back up to the apartment and make our own coffee and teas.
It was very convenient having the two separate showers so we could all get ready quickly in the morning, and for 3 people sharing 1 w/c was not a problem. Since we packed light, we also used the washer/dryer combo about halfway into our trip.
Also, we took the metro from CDG airport and changed to the #3 line and got off at Sentier station, which put us about 1 block away from the apartment. With our luggage, it was a very short walk and less expensive than a taxi. Our cell phones ended up not working when we got to the area, so we called Vincent from a phone at one of the cafes. Within 20 minutes he arrived promptly to give us the keys, and in the meantime we had a cheese plate at the cafe and had a perfect people-watching spot on the bustling neighborhood street!
The location was perfect because it is so close to many metro stations, and on some days we just walked to Rue Rivoli because it was not that far of a distance.
Overall the experience was amazing, and it was due to the fact that after a long day of walking and sightseeing, we could retreat to the wonderful clean apartment and have our separate spaces to relax. Vincent is very friendly, professional, and trustworthy. We did not have any problems during our stay. He is fair with pricing, and we got our deposit back; we elected to pay for professional cleaning since we were leaving early to catch our flight. I don't quite recall the cleaning fee, but it was very reasonable, and worth paying so that we did not need to clean the apartment ourselves.
Thanks again Vincent for making our stay memorable!Response from V.R.D. G - 02/26/2012

This apartment is in a fantastic location in the heart of Paris. It is small, but beautifully equipt with everything new and lovely. The kitchen is great with a full sized dishwasher, fridge and clothes washer/dryer. It even has an induction cooktop. Things like dishwasher powder and clothes washing liquid are supplied. There are 8 (or maybe 10) place settings which is nice. We traveled with 3 teenagers, and there was enough room, with two double bed rooms and then two single sofa beds in the sitting room. There wasn't a lot of space left over, but it was enough. It was good having two showers and a separate toilet. The towels were new and fluffy and big. There is a lift to get to the flat but it is very small - getting 3 people in is a squeeze.
The location is amazing, just off a pedestrian street full of food markets, partisseries, fromageries etc. It was a delight to wander around buying supplies for breakfast or dinner. there are also lots of restaurants. It was an easy 10 minutes walk to the Louvre or the Siene, and close to 2 metros.
Living in this apartment for 5 days we felt like Parisiens. It wasn't a touristy area, but so close to everything.
Vincent was helpful and did what he said he would. I was a bit worried about sending so much money ahead, but there were no problems and we got all our deposit back -

My family and I had a fantastic stay in this apartment. The apartment itself is excellent. Super clean, well laid out and has everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. The apartment's location is superb. Around the corner from a choice of bakeries, supermarkets and restaurants, and within easy walking distance of many of Paris's landmarks. Great value for money.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this accommodation. Vincent, the Property Manager, was very easy to deal with and the made the process of paying the bond and accessing the property very simple. -

293974Great Location, Really Nice Owner/Manager, All of Paris is at yo
Left on 12/02/2011 for a stay in November 2011
This is a really nice, clean apartment ideally located in a pedestrian mall but with taxi access. No road noise, and despite it being in a popular and frequented neighborhood, the apartment is quite quiet. The apartment is well laid out and ideal for two couples (the bedrooms are separated by the living room). This is not an old musty antique filled Paris walk-up. In fact it's rather Spartan. This is a good thing. The apartment feels very spacious given its footprint. The kitchen works well and the showers are modern and large. The only minus would be the single wc (located separately from the two shower bathrooms). The only other drawback might be the tiny elevator in the building; it's glass and does not feel claustrophobic but many an overweight american might take issue with it. All things considered this apartment is well appointed, well laid out, very comfortable, and exceptionally located.
The owner/manager, Vincent, is a prince of a fellow. He speaks very good English and he's remotely charming. He will take care of things for you. On the downside he is a touch absent-minded but since he's so likable one tends to overlook that characteristic. Ultimately he's a great guy.
In the final analysis this place is a great value. If one goes to Paris for a week's stay and budgets $100 a night per couple one usually ends up with a tiny cramped and questionable hotel in a not so great location. This apartment is light years beyond those two star hole in the wall hotels; at the same price. If one wants to experience Paris more like a native and one is on a budget this is definitely the way to go. I can't recommend the apartment, and Vincent, highly enough.Response from V.R.D. The apartment is located in a great location with lots of shops, cafe and supermarket. Nearest metro is 3 mins away and RER station 5 mins away. There're some great restaurants and great shops in the neighbourhood.
The owner is very good in English and helpful. The condition of the apartment is good with a nice kitchen except there was some problem with the drain in the kitchen.
Need to note that although there are 2 bathrooms in the apartment, there's only 1 WC which may be kind of inconvenient sometimes. -

My gf and I recently had a week long stay at Vincent's Montorgeuil flat.
The apartment is located in a Parisian pedestrian street only 15mins walk north of the Louvre.
Meaning your away from all the tourists and traffic. There are several boulangeries, cafés and restaurants all conveniently located near by.
Vincent was just brilliant, always around in case you needed him. The flat came loaded with free international calling, Wi-Fi, satellite TV and even hair dryers amongst other amenities.
I'd highly recommend that you book this flat if you wish to experience Paris the Parisian way. -

CanadaIdeal location and newly renovated apartment
Left on 04/16/2011 for a stay in April 2011
Stayed 10 days at this apartment and had a great time! The apartment is located next to Montorgueuil Street, a pedestrian street with loads of cafes, fantastic food and restaurants (make sure to try l'Epicerie, our favorite in that area).
If you like to walk, you can easily reach many of Paris' highlights on foot, including the Louvres, the musée d'Orsée, the Tuileries, Notre-Dame de Paris, George-Pompidou, etc. If you don't like to walk, there's a subway stop a few minutes away. The Paris subway is great, so it's pretty easy to go anywhere.
The apartment was recently renovated and everything was super clean! The kitchen is very well furnished, there is a washing machine, which was very convenient, and there are loads of extras which you may or may not need such as wifi/cable TV/telephone with many free international calls, etc. Overall, the apartment wasn't cheap but it's very good value if you consider what you get and the location. An equivalent in a hotel would be at least twice as much.
The only (minor) cons I can add is that the pillows were really big cushions, so very uncomfortable. It would also seem pretty small for 6 people, but it's certainly perfect for 2 couples of less. Also, the deposit was pretty high and having to sign a complicated lease/inventory sheet was a bit annoying and worrying, but Vincent proved completely honest and helpful.
Overall, I really recommend this place for an authentic Parisian experience in a perfect location! I would gladly return anytime! -
