32260Charming apartment and a perfect location
Left on 06/08/2012 for a stay in May 2012
My husband and I stayed here in May of 2012 for a week and a half. It is located on a mostly pedestrian street that is very lively and bustling. Numerous cafes and shops are nearby, in easy walking distance. We were so close to the Seine, it was incredible. Notre Dame and St. Chapelle were also a couple minutes' walk.
The apartment itself was just like the photos. The bed was comfortable, and it was great having two bathrooms available. We stayed for an extended amount of time and found the dishwasher and stove-top came in very handy. The shower was a bit difficult to manage--I would suggest taking a bath. The apartment was safe, secure, and there was an elevator to our floor.
Some minor inconveniences, though not deal-breakers were: no microwave, no laundry facilities, the awkward shower (slanted ceiling, no curtain, water nozzle sprays everywhere), and there was only about a 1/4 roll of toilet paper when we got there. We ended up having to purchase our own toilet paper as well as supply our own garbage bags for the trash. The bed is listed as a double, but is actually two twins pushed together--which can be a plus or minus, depending on how you look at it. Only one set of keys was given to us, which made us rather worried, as we had to be extremely vigilant about not locking ourselves out. A second set would have been nice.
Some pluses were: a nice radiator in the bathroom for drying towels or clothing, dishwasher, stove-top, refrigerator, coffee-maker and internet.
Our contact via email for the rental of the property was a woman named Mariam. She was very helpful and quick to respond to any of my questions. Also, the contact that met us at the apartment was Cesar, and he was very kind and helpful as well, and stayed until we were able to get the internet working (the wireless pass phrase is case sensitive).
Overall, we loved it and truly felt at home when we came back to the apartment. The location can't be beat--right around the corner from a Metro, a BNP Paribas bank just a few strides down the street, a post office about a block away and a very centralized and lively location. A great romantic getaway, or good if you have kids too, as the couch downstairs folds out.
We loved it and I think you will too. -

Great location, nice apartement, good price
Left on 06/03/2012 for a stay in May 2012
We spend one week there. 4 adults and 1 child (5 years old). Apartement and house was nice and clean (except of small mess from reconstruction in an other flat in this house). Morning is there little bit noisy from cleaning street outside. Street is tiny, almost walking zone without cars traffic.
Perfect place fol pancake lovers (about 5 "creperies" in a few steps from house), and there are various restaurants, fastfoods, bakeries ... -

Port Townsend, WA, USAGreat location, nice company, a bit funky
Left on 12/20/2011 for a stay in July 2011
The location could not have been better, we walked everywhere. The apartment had charm, and separation of space. The only drawbacks were a broken stove and poor lighting. The representative that showed us the apartment was great, helpful, interesting. It was a lovely home away from home, cheap restaurants, interesting antique stores nearby, and so close to Ste. Chapelle.

Sydney, NSW, AustraliaQuirky, well-located apartment
Left on 10/27/2011 for a stay in June 2011
Check-in and check-out were handled efficiently, on site, with a very friendly and helpful contact person (Brigitte). The agency was also very helpful. The location is brilliant - short walk to the Seine, Notre Dame and excellent food shops nearby (specialty plus good supermarket, behind a modest facade). Close to Metro and RER B (connection to Charles de Gaulle airport). Apartment is spacious, but with lots of furniture (more than travellers need) so feels a bit cramped. Looks out onto a mostly pedestrian street - nice views from upstairs. Would have been useful to have a washing machine (rather than dishwasher). Bathroom is adequate, but would have liked some sort of shower screen or curtain to contain the water (shower is over the bath). Two toilets (one on each level) is a bonus. The furnishings might not be to everyone's taste, but any item you could wish for is there.

255060Basic apartment in an excellent location
Left on 10/27/2011 for a stay in September 2011
We stayed in Paris for 8 wonderful days and nights. We found the location of the apartment to be ideal – the street is beautiful. The area full of restaurants and bars and close to several Metro stations as well as buses. Best of all it was walking distance to just about anywhere. In short, the location is worth compromising on the accommodation
The apartment itself was adequate. There was nothing fancy about it, but it was clean and reasonably equipped. Kitchen appliances were very old and not user friendly, we would have loved to have a washing machine and toilette paper to be supplied. Other minor issues included the unsafe electricity wiring protruding from the walls, the shower not being suitable for taller people and paper thin windows not ideal for such a lively street. The lack of practical information about the area, such as where the nearest supermarket or launderette are cost us time and frustration. We stayed during autumn, when there was no need for heating or cooling so couldn't comment on these issues.
We found dealing with Sweetkey prior to arrival a little awkward - email communication was slow after we made the reservation. There was no confirmation of the deposit having been paid and the property’s address was not forthcoming either. Once we got there, the lady who waited for us was great though.
To sum it up, it all worked quite well for us. We spent all our days out of the apartment and only used it for our first coffee in the morning and sleeping at night, so the fact that it was basic was not a deal breaker. However, next time we will look for a place that offers more modern facilities and convenience if available for the price and the location.
