      Comfortable and convenient...just like home.

Left on 05/03/2013 for a stay in April 2013

Upon arrival, we were greeted by our gracious hosts and shown around the apartment. The rooms, especially the kitchen, are spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The location is super convenient; lots of nice brasseries, boulangerie, and a supermarket across the street. Lovely shopowners who made us feel like part of the community. The metro is a couple of blocks away, so commuting is a breeze.

My group of 5 adults had a lovely, comfortable stay; I would definitely
recommend this flat for your stay in Paris.

      The best French hospitality!!

Left on 04/29/2013 for a stay in April 2013

Laetitia and Patrick's place was absolutely a haven away from home! The appartment was fully equipped with every comfort you would normally take for granted. They thought of everything from a bottle of chilled water in the fridge to a complimentary bottle of wine welcoming the weary traveller to their beautiful home and city. The appartment is not only well kept but has a sauna and steam room to help you unwind after a long day of sightseeing. We are a family of four and my kids were right at home with the computer and wifi that was generously available. The unit was conveniently located between two metro stations and was close enough to all amenities including a supermarket which was just across the street. With plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, finding some delicious place to eat was never a problem. This was our first trip to Paris and I know it won't be our last. I would definitely love to rent this place again and recommend this to anyone who is looking for a home away from home!! Thank you Laetitia and Patrick and we look forward to seeing you again.

      Amazing Vacation in Paris

Left on 04/21/2013 for a stay in April 2013

My family was very excited to get to see the city of Paris. Things started off great as soon as we landed at the airport because Patrick was waiting to take us to his and Laëtitia's apartment. They were both very friendly and professional, but most importantly, they were helpful in every way to make sure that our stay was free of issues. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with kitchenware, and is the perfect size for a family of 3 or 4. There was a grocery store across the street which helped us to save some money by not eating out for every meal. The metro was within 100 yards of the apartment, and an amazing bakery was just down the street. The steam room and sauna were great, as well as all of the other amenities in the apartment. All-in-all, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay; this apartment definitely deserves 5 stars!

quiet, calm, glimpse of normal Paris life in normal Paris neigh

Left on 04/02/2013 for a stay in March 2013

You can read the other reviews to get the details on the convenience, the layout, the amenities, and of course, the warm and efficient hosts (they respect your privacy, but you always feel you can call them if you need to). Trust me, this place lives up to the reviews and surpasses them. But what I like is: this is not, repeat not a touristy neighborhood. From day 1, you are living, shopping, moving around the city more like a resident, you don't feel like a tourist. If you've ever strolled through Paris and looked at the apartment buildings and wondered, "what's it like to live there?" then this is it. In addition to the basic reasonable price, you will have built in savings by eating breakfast and (many?) dinners there, and justifiably "splurging" at lunch. Great boulangerie with incredible bread, everything to feed yourself (or pack a picnic) is steps away...even a decent Chinese takeaway joint up the street near Boucicaut Metro stop. And don't even start me on the Velib thing! 8 euro "membership" for a whole week...this is the most economical transportation in the world and there's Velib stations all around the apartment. Finally, to those who wonder, "should I go in winter?" yes. This place is equipped with sauna and "steam" bath (to quote the movie "Victor Victoria" "the bathroom is a religious experience." So after a long day pounding the paving stones and sauntering through the museums, you come home to spa like pampering.

      Great for longer stays

Left on 03/17/2013 for a stay in October 2012

I stayed at Patrick&Laetitia;'s apartment for 5 months as I was taking a patisserie course at a nearby school. The apartment is in a safe neighborhood and convenient for transportation (metro lines, Tram, buses are all within 5-15 minute walking distance,). There is a G20 supermarket right across the street. Rue Lecourbe market 2x a week for the freshest fruits/produce, meats, fish, cheeses etc. Organic foods store Naturalia close by. Pharmacies, post offices, banks are also within just a quick jaunt from the front door.

The apartment was comfortable, and equipped with everything you need at home. There are 2 levels: kitchen/living room/toilet at the top level and bedroom/shower/sauna in the lower level.

Kitchen- It was very important for me to be able to cook something other than breakfast at home and the kitchen served me well. There is an induction cooktop, fan-assisted oven, microwave. Dishwasher and washer/spin dryer too.

Office- I was able to scan ad print bec. the home office has a PC,printer, and office supplies. The printer broke down at the most inopportune time during my stay. Laetitia suggested I email her the docs and she printed & took them to the apartment. Soon after the printer was replaced with a brand new one. Wi-fi is reliable and up 99.9% of the time.

Bedroom- Comfy bed,new pillows, clean fluffy quilt. Roomy shower with steam bath. Quietest place in the apartment because it is below ground level. It is my own little oasis where I can have a peaceful rest after being on my feet all day.

Patrick and Laetitia do their best to make your stay problem-free. I needed sooo many documents for my student permit and they provided all I needed and more. One time I locked myself out of the apartment and Laetitia saved me by coming to the apt to let me in. Accessibility/helpfulness/friendliness 10/10. They are wonderful and my husband and I hope to keep in touch :)

Happy to recommend this apartment to friends/family.

This was my first experience with FlipKey and I was a bit skeptical about the apartment. The pictures looked great, but we felt it was too good to be true. Well, I'm glad we took a chance because the place was perfect! It was the perfect place for our short stay in Paris. In a cool, locals neighborhood and close to both the metro and anything else you might need. I will definitey stay here again and recommend to my friends and family.

Great little flat for visiting Paris!

Left on 08/12/2012 for a stay in August 2012

Highly recommended for couples and small families wanting to visit Paris for a few days.

We're a family of four, and stayed there for 5 days in august 2012. It's just so great having our own kitchen and not having to drag the kids to find a restaurant every day, particularly after an exhaustive day walking around Paris.

The flat is well placed - the Metro's a few minutes walk away, and there are local shops across the road. It's extremely well appointed and comfortable, unlike most self-catering apartments: an ultra complete kitchen, both beds (double bed downstairs, and the sofa bed) are comfortable, the bathroom has a great walkin shower, there's a PC and Wifi, two TVs, a library of DVD and books ... you get the picture.

      Wonderful Stay!

Left on 07/26/2012 for a stay in July 2012

Our family of 4 and our adult friend had a perfect stay at Patrick & Laetitia's place. We stayed at several places during our European trip, and My Paris Home was by far the absolute best. Our Paris trip started with Patrick picking us up at the airport. He told us about everything and anything and was extremely friendly. The apartment has everything you could possibly need and more. They even gave us laundry detergent. The beds were comfortable also. The apartment is even better than the pictures show. The apartment is in a non-touristy,quiet neighborhood with a grocery store right across the street and lots of shops close by. The metro is less than 5 minutes away. We could get anywhere in the city in a few minutes. Patrick also drove us back to the airport and let us checkout several hours late since our flight was in the evening. For free! This apartment really made our visit to Paris so much better. The apartment was stocked with guide/travel books, reading books, tons of movies, etc. We felt completely at home and would stay again in a heart beat. Thank you Patrick and Laetitia! And Toma!

We enjoyed our stay at this location. Great location surrounded by nice bakeries, eats and walking distance to Metro, River Cruise and Eiffel tower. Clean house and thoughtfully furnished. Nice quiet, safe, neighborhood.

The only complaint we had was the shower. There was a smell and it feels like less clean than the rest of the apartment.

Left on 07/13/2012 for a stay in June 2012

We are a family of 5 who had a lovely time staying in Letitia and Patrick's very comfortable 2 level apartment. We chose this apartment because of its proximity to the Eiffel Tower which was a 20 minute walk away. We walked all over Paris from here as the location was central and a good walk into the major shopping strips. There are 2 metro stations close by and a convenience store across the road which was very handy when we were preparing our own meals. The kitchen here is really well resourced with coffee and cooking appliances. We celebrated our son's 13th birthday here and bought the best strawberry tart from a local patisserie. The kids really enjoyed the free wifi and computer facilities when we were "home". As a family of 5 we fitted comfortably, the fifth bed was a fold out that our 9 year old slept on. In a quiet yet convenient location, we would definitely come back and stay here again. As an added bonus Patrick picked us up and drove us to the airport for a fee which made our trip stress free.

Light, airy, modern comfort in a great location

Left on 07/05/2012 for a stay in July 2012

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Paris; it is beautifully designed, the space feels light, airy and spacious, and it comfortably accomodated our family of five without feeling crowded. Everything we could possibly need was provided down to some needles and thread. The sauna and steam room were very nice bonuses as were the various English guides to Paris and its history and the collection of Dvds. We also discovered a great Paris market happening on Sunday on the ajoining street.
Patrick and Laetitia clearly care a great deal about their guests comfort and are very considerate hosts providing all the information necessary to make your stay in Paris a good one. Laetitia greeted us with a bottle of wine upon arrival, nice after a long day travelling. In every way the apartment exceeded our expectations and our only wish would be to return.

      The perfect apartment

Left on 07/03/2012 for a stay in June 2012

My family and I were extremely pleased with this apartment. First off, it was situated in a great neighborhood, with a supermarket just across the street, a bakery and a lot of restaurants/bars were nearby as well as the metro station. Secondly, there were five of us in this relatively small apartment but we had no problem with it because everything is so very well put together and organized. We loved the shower as well as the kitchen, we had fun going to the store and buying groceries you can´t find in our home country and cooking together in the kitchen which was very well equipped. We used the computer with the Wi-fI a lot and in the evenings it was so nice to be able to choose a movie/book/TV show from all the collections available in the apartment.
The ease and comfort we found in this apartment and its surroundings plays a big part in out possible return to Paris someday.

      Lovely Home away from home

Left on 07/02/2012 for a stay in June 2012

The host was very prompt and helpful in answering to our queries prior to our arrival. This proved to extremely helpful for us, as we were first timers in short-term holiday apartment rental.

The apartment is simply lovely - clean, full equipped with everything you would expect in your own home, and perfectly sized for 5 adults. This apartment is a short 5 mins walk from the nearest metro, with a supermarket just right across the road, and plenty of cafes/restaurants and bakery within comfortable walking distance.

The best part able this apartment is its cleanliness and how it feel totally like a home we could live in.

It would be perfect if there were night curtains in the living room, and hot water supply in the shower room will never run out.

The best group lodging that I have stayed at!

Left on 06/19/2012 for a stay in May 2012

My friends and I went on a trip to five European cities, and of the 5 lodgings that we stayed at, this was by far the best one. The landlord, Patrick, escorted us in his nice VW mini-van from the airport all the way down to his lodging, and also drove us to the train station to catch the Chunnel on the last day.

We were amazed when we got into the lodging because the interior design was so modern and beautiful. It is a place that I would like to have of my own one day. The best part is that there is an indoor sauna and shower room that converts into a steam room...what more can you ask for?! The kitchen was also very contemporary looking and furnished with nice appliances. We were greeted with a bottle of wine when we got there by Patrick...such a great host!

One more thing...Patrick has a binder full of useful information for using the household items and even going around the city...fantastic!

I would definitely recommend this lodging to anyone and I would come to stay again when I visit Paris again. Thanks Patrick!

This was a great apartment that delivered everything as advertised. Although not in the center of all the attractions, it was very easy (3 minute walk) to walk to the metro station to go wherever you needed to. The apartment was comfortable for our 3 adults and 2 kids, although note that there aren't any doors between the upstairs or downstairs rooms, so keep that in mind. They also provided us with a crib for the baby, which we really appreciated. There is a small grocery store directly across the street so we were able to stock up on some initial food/drinks immediately on our arrival. Overall, our stay in Paris here was wonderful.

We spent a week in this apartment and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect...close to metro stops, restaurants, cafes, shopping, grocery stores. And, the apartment is stocked with everything you might need. The kitchen is excellent. The spa (steam room and sauna) were most welcome after our cold wet days being tourists in paris.

The stairs down to the bedroom/spa/shower are a bit steep, but my mom (who is nearing 70) was able to negotiate them to get downstairs for the shower and spa...she just took her time and went carefully. The toilet is on the main level with the kitchen and living room.

The bedroom is spacious and the creative lighting make up for it being below grade with no windows.

We had a wonderful stay and would happily stay in this apartment again!

The flat comfortably fit 5 people. Close to the Metro stop, and right across from a small supermarket. Lots of small eateries around, so we never had to travel far to get our breakfast.

Best rental I have encountered during my Europe trip

Left on 05/18/2012 for a stay in May 2012

Being a tourist from america - I was alright with the lackluster rentals I encountered during my stay in Italy. But when my friends and I showed up at our Paris rental, we were blown away by Patrick's warm welcome. He made sure everything with arranged efficiently prior to our arrival to his lovely abode. He picked us up at the airport after asking for my arrival time prior to me even leaving for Europe. He chatted with us on a very personable level and made us feel like we were his friends from abroad. He made us feel we were able to call him if needed for any help. He also provided us with his services to mail some heavy car part items that my friend wanted to ship back to the United States. He went above and beyond what was expected of a landlord/property manager.

The living space was kept in pristine condition. The bathroom was very clean. The space was well cared for and it looked exactly like the photographs he provided. He was able to think of all things that would ensure anyone's stay here would be most comfortable. Including towel warmers, straightening iron for the ladies, endless supply of towels and other amenities, so on and so forth.

The best part was at the very end of our trip while Patrick was driving us to the train station. He asked us for our opinion on how to improve his space. He wanted our honest opinion and I really felt he took it to heart and I believe he will make the arrangements to ensure the next group of visitors will find all things to their liking. Fyi - our only comment was the bed on the bottom floor slipped off its frame (typical Ikea framing system, absolutely not the fault of the owner).

My friends and I would very much recommend this place to anyone...

The kitchen has everything you need and even more, the sauna feels fantastic when u come back tired in the evening, the neighbourhood is quiet and safe with Supermarche just across the street and bakery and Metro station - 2 or 3 streets away.
If I ever come back to Paris I will definitelly stay in this flat again.

      Fantastic Place to Stay

Left on 04/22/2012 for a stay in March 2012

Anyone looking for accommodation to stay while in Paris, no need to look any further! Charming Paris flat is a fantastic place to stay.
When we arrived Patrick & Laëtitia were waiting out the front, they showed us in and explained everything we needed to know in great detail.
The kitchen was fully equip and extremely clean, beds were comfortable and bathroom, well what can I say, it was massive with the best shower ever!
The flat is located on a quiet street and only minutes walk to a metro station - It's only a short metro ride to the center of Paris! There is a grocery store right across the road and a patisserie about 2minutes walk.
We would definitely stay here again!

This flat is in a great location, decorated amazingly, clean, and so very comfortable for our family of 5. The house book was so detailed and the recommedations were right on target. The only dislike was that we didn't have enough time to use the sauna! And trying to keep the kids excited from their days, quiet in the apartment at night. We would definitely stay here again. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

Patrick and Laeticia allowed us to stay in by far one of the best places we have stayed in all of Europe!!! Amazing place. Wonderful hosts. Great location! This apartment is amazing!!! If you have the chance...Stay here!!! We felt like it was our place. Sauna!!! Steam shower!!! Both large enough for at least 5!!! Close to Metro. Grocery store literally across the street. (Went to the store in house shoes and no coat---that close, 30 second walk). We would stay here once a month if it was closer to us in Italy!!! Perhaps even more!! The pictures do not even do it justice. Everything you need is here! Travel books, maps--our lifeline---hehehe, dictionary, etc. Oh, forgot to mention, there is a printer hooked up to the house computer so you can book tix online to anything!!! All the museums and prominent attractions allow you to go online in advance and book everything. You can do it before you get here, but no reason since it is all within arms' reach! That is just the essentials. Now the kitchen...Amazing!!! I prepared fantastic pasta in the evening, superior breakfast in the morning, (great bakery nearby for the best bread, desserts, and whatever you desire). We spent all our days sight seeing. (Hence, close to Metro---about 8 minutes walking slow). Very easy to navigate. We felt like we lived in Paris!!! We cannot possibly say enough good things about this place!!! Seriously!!! (And I am very picky!!!) very... Hehehe!!!

Thank you Patrick & Laeticia!!! Big Huge Hugs!!! You both rock!!! So does your place!!! If you are ever in Vicenza, Italy---or New York---let us know!!!

Thank you Patrick and Laetitia for a wonderful say in your lovely Paris apartment - we had a great time. Everything was as advertised - the apartment was clean,in a good/safe location, well laid out, with every "mod con" available for our use. We almost felt as though we "lived in Paris" during our stay, which was a very nice experience. Letitia's "taxi service" from the airport was excellent - she made us feel very welcome and during the drive, pointed out some places of interest as well as some local places to eat, which was useful. There is nothing we didn't like - we will be back! Thanks again.

The greeting and the information provided about the apartment and necessary points to know were very good. Also the service provided by Patrick during our stay was excellent. He didn't have no trouble to come and helps us with our problems with the power outage, a really good man.
The home was very nice designed and even more equipped with all the necessary electrical and kitchen equipment and anything that we needed for living( as well as food and cleaning supplies).
The location of the apartment was very nice located between two metro stations, but also wasn't to far from the Eiffel tower. A neat thing was that there is a market right across the street.
The best thing was the help that we got from Patrick and all the equipment that we had in the apartment, really nice.
Would recommend for everyone to stay there.

The apartment is close to the metro and only 20 minute walk to the Eiffel tower. I have not stayed in Paris before and the apartment is small but enuff for a family of 5. We did no use the coffee maker. I have suggessted to Laëtitia to make stairs non slippery if possible. Patrick has written all the instructions in every detail possible. We will stay there again. Amazing!!!

Left on 01/04/2012 for a stay in November 2011

I had the pleasure of staying in Patrick and Laetitia's flat for 6 weeks while I attended Le Cordon Bleu this November and December, and it could not have been more perfect!! Patrick and Laetitia were amazing hosts from beginning to end!! When my husband and I arrived for my first weekend we were greeted warmly by Patrick and driven straight to the flat.. which was amazing since we had hardly slept on the plane (from the U.S.) and dealing with a car service or public transportation would not have been fun!!

I was so scared to move to Paris for 6 weeks but Patrick had everything, from how to work all the apartment gadgets, to the best neighborhood shops and restaurants in a welcome packet that was greatly appreciated by me!! It made me much more comfortable!!

When we arrived at the flat it was immaculate! Cleaner than most hotels!!

During my stay, the kitchen was perfect(and quite large for a city flat!)for me to practice all of my recipes, the spa was wonderful to relax in after a long day at school and the space was wonderful for my husband and I, my mother in law, and some friends on each weekend when I had visitors!

I was, for the most part, staying in the flat alone, as my husband had to go back to the U.S., and I felt incredibly safe since Patrick and Laetitia were close by and answered every call and or question I had!

I would and am staying there again!! (in just a few weeks!) The neighborhood is so friendly and the location was perfect for me, as I did not want to be in the heart of the tourist section.. however.. getting to the tourist area is quite easy by metro...so it was a great escape from so many people... also the neighborhood restaurants and shops have lovely people that will recognize you from day one and help in any way they can!!

Whenever I am in Paris.. I will stay at the flat.. my experience couldn't have been more perfect!!

      Thank you Patrick and Laetitia!!

I was concerned when my arrival time changed, but you were very flexible and arranged for the last minute change in my arrival time so that I could meet up with my kids who were arriving from different places. Having stayed at other hotels, hostels and rentals..we found you flat superiorly stocked in the kitchen (spices, oils, pans, general cooking necessities)and entertainment amenities (metro maps, tour information pamphlets, phone, computer, printer, dvds, books, ipod chargers etc.) Although it was a bit of a walk to the Eiffel Tower, the nearby metro made our travel very easy. The convenient location to the grocery store, bakery, cafes, atm and metro made for an enjoyable stay.

a typical cafe near the flat a view you will find when strolling from the apartment the corner of the street where the flat is located. there is a metro station to the left or the right of this corner and a supermarket across the road

      Great Stay in Paris

Left on 10/13/2011 for a stay in September 2011

We had a fantastic few days at the Charming Paris flat. We were very lucky with our stay the weather turned freakishly tropical at the end of September and it never dropped below 29/30. The apartment is beautiful and very stylish it does feel more like a home then a rented apartment. Their are many home comforts in the flat which Patrick does not mention on his website, he also provides a full book case, Dvds, basic provisions and six verities of cooking oil!!. Also a full selection of shampoos and conditioners in the bathroom all of which were greatly appreciated. The flat is very handy very central and close to the metro links, only a couple of stops from the Eiffel tower which was great. The flat has a supermarket across the road and also a lovely bakery just around the corner everything fresh and tasty why can't we make bread like that in the uk!! The high lights for us were climbing the Eiffel tower by foot which we highly recommend as its half the price usually no queue and great fun (360 steps) visiting the Galleries the Louvre was fab. Top tip if you visit the Paris museums on the first Sunday in the month they are all free. We also visited the Monet Garden's in Giverny (you can book this by coach from Paris) this was amazing and we also visited the Moulin Rouge. The Moulin rouge contrary to reports was actually a really fun night we just booked for champagne and the show which cost ÂŁ87 and we all loved it fab. Top tips don't forget your comfortable shoes, I think we all suffered from tired feet syndrome so the Sauna and steam room at the flat was a lovely treat to look forward to at the end of the day. All in all we had a wonderful time and I think we picked an excellent apartment to stay at. I will be looking out for Patrick at the London marathon till then au revoir

What a gem this is. It had a supermarket opposite, a bakery around the corner and metro near by to get to all our trips around paris. The apartment was lovely. It had a steam room and sauna and all mod cons - ipod docking station, hairdryer, cd player, computer and printer, etc. It also had a starter pack of things like tea, coffee, stock cubes, oil, bottle of wine, water etc. This was great as meant we didn't have to take them with us or buy bottle of them just for a couple of days. It would have been helpful to know just how many things were avaiable before we went - and Parick says he will let people know in future. Why have all these great things and not tell people! I have never stayed in an aprtment with so many things avaiable - it was very much like home from home - even down to cds, Dvd's and books been on the shelves to use. Patrick and his partner were really friendly, helpful and informatative. Nothing was too much trouble. A lot of thought had gone into this place. I would say that 5 would be pushing it a bit much and think that 4 would be the most in the space - but that's just my view. I would highly recomend it.

Quirky layout, quiet but acoustics in apartment mean no privacy for guests. So many extras included - cooking ingredients, tea, coffee, docking station, lots of gadgets including internet. Patrick and Letitia really nice people with good English, helpful when we couldn't work gadgets, reliable lift to and from airport and trustworthy. Patrick's apartment is located in one of my favorite neighborhoods of Paris, the 15th arrondissement, which is residential yet lively and only a few métro stops away from Opéra and the Champs-Elysées. At first I was mostly attracted to the spa (which really is a unique feature in Paris!) but the whole apartment was just wonderful to stay in. The kitchen is very functional, with all the appliances you need, and the bedroom is very spacious and cozy. I have already recommended it to friends and family for their future visits.

The best holiday apartment we have stayed in

Left on 09/25/2011 for a stay in September 2011

Since 2009, we have stayed in holiday apartments in Rome, Florence, London, York, Paris and Vienna. This is quite easily the best apartment we have stayed in. Patrick is a great host. He genuinely wants you to have a good time in Paris and in his apartment.

He picked us up at the railway station (an optional extra service), took us to the flat, and spent a significant time explaining all the fatures of the flat. (BTW, Patrick speaks perfect English, for all those (including me) who are too lazy to learn French).

It is the best equipped flat we have seen. Often we need to buy things like kitchen paper towels, dishwasher soap, washing machine soap, etc. Not here. Everything was provided.

The flat has a dry and a wet sauna, which we didn't use, since it was summer. But I can see it being an attractive feature in winter. The closest supertmarket is a 10-second walk from the front door, and closes at 9:00pm. Another supermarket which closes at 11:00pm is a whole 45 seconds away - gosh!! We cooked a few meals ourselves, in the well-equipped kitchen.

The entry to the flat is on the ground floor - just 3 or 4 steps to the front door. The bedroom and bathroom/sauna are below the living and kichen area, and are accessed by steps.

The Lourmel tube (metro) is 3 minute walk from the flat. From there you get to Concorde in about 16-17 minutes. A lot of the Paris sites are within striking distance of Concorde. The others are on metro lines that connect to Concorde. So the location is great.

There is a phone in the flat. So you can make local calls (and I believe some international calls - check with Patrick). This saves you roaming charges on your mobile phone.

The next time we visit Paris, we will be staying here again. Thanks Patrick.

The best accommodation we have ever found in Paris!

Left on 09/13/2011 for a stay in September 2011

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay, with the nicest hosts you can imagine.

We regularly go to Paris, having tried many types of accommodation, and we can safely say this is our favourite option. From our warm welcome, to the wonderfully equipped apartment, we literally found everything we could have needed. The attention to detail (cleanliness, design, quality and comfort) make this feel just like home.

Location is excellent: we thought it might be a bit far, but its across the road from the metro, and thus has a lovely quiet area whilst letting you be in downtown Paris in a matter of minutes. An added bonus is the shops nearby (supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, restaurants) which have long opening hours for France, and thus allow you to capitalise on the apartment's facilities. The area is very safe.

Our family ranged from 20 - 60, and everyone agreed our new home really made the weekend special. Five of us fitted no problem, and the fact the house is so well stocked (kitchen appliances, Dvds, books, computer) made each of us feel very much at home. The sauna and steam rooms are a lovely bonus on the side! In fact the pictures don't fully show how lovely this place is.

We had never rented an apartment using this system, and were cautious at first. Our hosts Patrick and Laëtitia did everything they could - from before we arrived to our departure, to make us feel welcome and completely looked after - without ever intruding. They found us a solution for parking (vital in Paris!) and gave us plenty of advice on the area.

This might sound like an overly positive review, but genuinely this is one of the few times we have been 150% happy with rented accommodation. We travel a lot worldwide and are well aware of the ups and downs of finding a good place to stay.

We wish Patrick and Laëtitia the very best of luck in their business, although we must admit we hope this doesn't get too popular as we want to come back here again ourselves :)

Excellent place for family with young kids

Left on 08/07/2011 for a stay in July 2011

This is a 2 level flat with the bedroom being in the basement - which meant, it was truly quiet. Patrick and Laetitia have painstakingly retrofitted the house for a rental and have done it well. The lighting in the downstairs room compensates for the lack of natural light. The selection of songs and Dvds is enough for a trip 4-5 days long. For a trip in Paris, there really never need be a time to see TV! The location is very close to Lourmel(Metro) and even Boucicaut(the other Metro Ligne 8 station) with a Boulangerie and general purpose store sprinkled in between. We also had to use the pharmacy close by and got advise and correct medication from it for a sudden medical condition I developed. The fully functional kitchen was thoughtfully packed with basic ingredients which made the first dinner a breeze. Lourmel being the last but one stop on line 8 towards Ballard means, late night trips from Eiffel can get lonely, but the area still felt safe. Eiffel was about 20 minutes including walking time so we visited it every other night after it was lit.

I appreciate Patrick's emails, instructions and all e-communication that was required to book the apartment/flat and to reach it. He and Laetitia offer to drop off patrons at the airport for a fee that is less expensive than taxi, trustworthy and with safe driving.

The only warning I'd pose to people who might travel with much older parents is that climbing stairs to get the bathroom downstairs might be tedious.

A charming base to explore Paris

Left on 08/07/2011 for a stay in July 2011

The service was first class from the pick up at the railway station, check in at the apartment, and the final departure.

The amenities at the apartment were comparable with, and in some cases more, than you would find in your own home. The apartment manual provided was fully comprehensive, detailing the operations of appliances in the apartment and providing useful information on nearby cafes and restaurants. Where there was a preference to have meals in the apartment, a wide range of options for purchasing meals and food were given. In addition, the manual gave overall information on transport in and around Paris and suggested places of interest.

The apartment was very conveniently located for us, and close to the Metro. The location in the 15th was charming, providing a community view of Paris.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment, and know, having stayed there, that it would be particularly suited for some of our friends.

We spent four nights at My Paris Home at the end of July. Patrick and Laetitia were very helpful giving us directions as we were driving in with our car. A word of advice, finding a parking space is a nightmare. P & L were very informative with the details of the flat and very helpful with any questions we had. They welcomed us with a bottle of vino. We were a bit surprised being put on the spot about the cleaning fee of 35 euros. The flat is set up with your bedroom downstairs, computer (internet provided) along with a shower, sink, and sauna. We found it to be a huge inconvenience having the toilet upstairs, not too mention the stairs are like climbing a ladder. A toilet downstairs would be at the top of my list, get rid of the sauna. We found sleeping a little quite hot,( it wasn't very hot when were in Paris 20 degrees celsius) it would have been nice to have a window open, but with it being a ground floor unit, we were unable to keep any windows open for safety reasons. The flat faces a street which is fairly quiet, but it also faces the courtyard where we were woken up by people dropping there recycling in the bins which could be heard with the windows closed. The flat is well equipped for a stay, we did try to do some laundry with the washer provided, but it didn't work very well. It is quicker to go across the street where there is a laundromat. The area is close to a metro, supermarket, bakery, a few restaurants, but there is not alot of character for the neighbourhood.

Indeed, this is not the message which you left in our guest book and you did not mention the above during the check out.
We do not wish to comment further but would like to remind you that the flat has just been completely renovated and has several pluses which you will not find elsewhere in Paris (e.g. Sauna and Hammam, computer with high speed connection, DVD collection - to name a few). Even so we take into consideration your comments and will focus on doing our best to satisfy all our future customers.

A new way to explore Paris!

Left on 06/22/2011 for a stay in June 2011

Overall, it is a great flat: very clean, quiet and convenient. Metro station is about 3 minutes away, and Monop(a convenience store) is about 2 minutes away. you can easily navigate around the city as it takes about 6-7 minutes to the Concord square by Metro. Plus, there is a sauna and hammam in the flat; after a whole day sight-seeing, it is a perfect way to relax in the sauna. I definitely prefer to stay in this flat
      than a hotel.

Great two-level flat in calm, Parisian suburb with a beautiful bathroom / steam room and stylish kitchen bar. Good value in Paris where it's easy to stay somewhere really average..

Great pied a Terre in Paris

Left on 06/05/2011 for a stay in May 2011

We had a great time in Paris this spring.
The flat is spacious with all the modern comfort you could wish for (internet, superb kitchen, flat screen TV and Dvds...) and more like the steam room and sauna which were very appreciated after a long day walking in beautiful Paris.
The flat is located close to the metro giving easy access to anywhere in Paris.
Patrick and Laetitia are very welcoming and gave us lots of useful advice at our arrival as we had never been in Paris before.
We would love to go back!

      Great stay in Paris

Left on 05/06/2011 for a stay in May 2011

It was our second stay in Paris. Our first stay was in a hotel, expensive with a poor service. So we decided, this time, to try a flat as we needed space for our 2 children. First of all, we were very pleased by the warm welcome of Patrick and Laetitia on our arrival. The district is central but the flat is located in a quiet street. The flat is clean and nicely decorated. My husband and I really appreciated the spa. It was a great relaxing moment while the kids were watching a dvd of the owners dvd selection. Cool! Everything you need is close (supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, metro stations). We also appreciated the PC with the internet access. The other good thing is that Disneyland is not too far from the flat. It took us about one hour to get there by train and it's easy to find directions. Internet was very helpfull! We were very lucky to have warm and sunny weather so our stay was perfect! It's a shame that baby-sitting is not included in the price ;-) I guess my husband and I will have to come again just the two of us... We enjoyed our family stay and we definitely recommend this flat for families or couples. Enjoy your next stay in Paris!

      Magic weekend

The apartment was lovely and had everything you could need. It was very near the metro making travel to all the sights extremely easy. There are a couple of supermarkets within walking distance and many cafes serving delicious food. Also some nice clothes shops about 15 minutes walk away.

      A wonderful weekend in Paris

Left on 04/28/2011 for a stay in April 2011

It was pleasant to arrive very quickly and easily from Gare du Nord to the flat which is in excellent condition with everything my friend from England and I needed for our three-night stay.

A variety of shops are in close proximity and a small supermarket (3 min walk) is open until midnight. So, after a long day visiting Paris, we were able to eat "at home" in the evenings which was much appreciated.

The flat is very original being on two levels and the bathroom has a choice of sauna, hammam or large walk-in shower which is very pleasant.

The decoration is of excellent taste.

We appreciated the flat's location with metro stations very close and were in the centre of Paris within a few minutes.

A tip: We bought "Paris visit" metro tickets for just 20 euros each at the Gare du Nord which enabled us to hop on and off the metro and buses for three days and offered reductions on several visits.
