Studio Archives is located at the epicenter of the most lively part of the Marais: rue des Archives. Hôtel de Ville, BHV retail shops, Trendy shops, Metro line n°1, they are all here at hands.
As you may expect, Studio Archives is part of a typical Paris building from Le Marais; recently refurbished, it comes equipped with all the necessary amenities and exposed beams. Last but not least, the place is very quiet so it means you can sleep as you wish even though the area is always on.

My three "20 something" kids stayed in apartment at 12 Rue des archives, which i had easily booked from australia online. Fantastic position, close to Rue de Rivoli. Apartment in the heart of shops and cafes. Lively area. Metro Hotel de Ville 5-7 minutes walk.
Apartment is up two flights of circular stairs, so difficult access for some. Clean, compact, attractive apartment, with small kitchette with all facilities, good sized living area with sofa which flattens to double bed. Good sized bathroom underneath mezzanine with queen bed. No washing machine, but launderette less than 10 mins away.
Owner and agent were most obliging, meeting us on arrival. Owner left us a laptop, which we didn't need, but was most generous! Wifi was excellent connection.
Having only one key to apartment was the only problem. I was visiting, kids split up at times, so one key was an occasional hassle.
Paid a fair price for such a convenient position. Paid more last year for a smaller hotel space, in a similar position in the Marais, but we paid extra for a balcony. Insurance of about 30 euros I recall for 6 nights stay, was required, in addition to rental.
Marais, and 12 Rue des archives, a great place to stay!

Paris was beautiful!! We can not wait to return!! The Studio archives was great. Suited our needs perfectly. Centrally located in the Marais area, it offered a vibrant neighborhood full of life, both day and night. It made for easy walking to several areas and was also convient for transit.
