Completely renovated in January 2007, this apartment features a perfect base for art lovers on the Left Bank. It's literally right behind the D'Orsay Museum and you can see the statues from the window.

This apartment is ideally located Rue de Lille in the 7th arrondisse...ment behind the museum Orsay, only one block from the Seine River. Rue de Lille is a trendy street, full of Art Galleries and stylist fashion stores. Short walking distance from the Isle Saint Louis, and 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment is the Louvre museum, Tuleries Garden, Place de la Concorde and Place Saint Germain des Prés. Extremely central location - you won't even need the metro. If you'd like to hop across town the bus and metro are within minutes. Anything you can dream of is right outside the doors: bakery, butchery, supermarket, restaurant, cafe, doctor. If you are looking for luxury, the left bank stores on Rue de Bac are a short 10 minute stroll away.

This tastefully newly decorated and elegant 55 square meters 1 Bedroom apartment is on the ground French floor of a 19th century Hausmann style building. It has a modern luxury decorated large living room, dining area for 4, modern kitchen and a large bath with separate showers and double sink, separate toilet.Washer / dryer in the apartment.

We loved the apartment and I have already recommended it to friends. The location is perfect and my boyfriend was able to use his computer for business so he was happy. It was just a dream.

We had a wonderful one-week vacation there with our 3-year-old. The location is perfect, across the street from Musee D'Orsay, close to everything - we walked everywhere. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well-stocked all with necessities - linens, dishes, cleaning supplies, maps and current city guides. Laundry in the apartment is a big bonus, especially with a toddler. A small grocery store is just around the corner on Rue de Bac, less than 5 mins away. We would love to return.

This was a great ground floor flat for our family of 4 (two teens). Completely as advertised in a central section of Paris. As a person sensitive to sound, I was worried about being on the ground floor, but the neighborhood is relatively quiet and we slept like babes. Musee D'Orsay itself is an outstanding experience. To see an entire room of Van Gogh's is to understand what all the fuss is about.

The price per night listed above is our "average" price per night. Pricing fluctuates during the year based on length of your stay and the season in which you travel. We do not charge extra for additional guest. We have a 4 night minimum stay throughout the year (most agencies require a 7 night stay).   As the description states, this apartment is literally steps from the Musee d'Orsay, and also the coveted amenities of Rue du Bac. Yet despite its ideal location in the center of Paris, it is very quiet. The apartment was very clean and has all the conveniences of home, i.e. WiFi, flat screen TV, fully-equipped kitchen, bathtub and shower, etc. The unit is located on ground level, so opening shutters/windows is dependent on weather, time of day, etc., which is a downside and causes unit to be dark. Ground floor is a plus for baggage, however. In-apartment phone was not functional to us as promised; luckily we had some international minutes on a cell phone for business calls we had to make. Meeting of concierge went as planned, but more neighborhood information would have been helpful. Working with Cobblestay on rental agreement couldn't have been easier. Privacy element, ability to 'live like a local' in a coveted area, and comfort and amenities of unit ensure that this will not be the last time we rent through Cobblestay. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

  Superb location, only a couple of minor hiccups

  On arrival, we were met by a company representative who showed us through the apartment, she was american so language was no barrier. The apartment is beautifully furnished, is very large by Paris standards and is extremely well equipped - in our weeks stay, we did not want for anything. Location could not be beaten, the name says it all, we were able to walk to most of the top tourist attractions and there is a Batobus ferry stop next to the Museum. Our only minor beef was with the TV - it had connection to Orange cable, but didn't work properly - sometimes it connected automatically, other times it dropped out after a couple of hours and for the last two days, did not connect at all. Also, because the unit is on the ground floor it has maximum security, especially on the windows which open on to the street - we love fresh air, but were unable to open them. It did, however, mean we got a great nights sleep! All in all, an excellent apartment, without these minor blemishes we would have given it five star rating.

  Absolute Convenience & As Lovely as advertised

  It was crucial to me that our accommodations in Paris be just right, since I was traveling with my dear friend who has stage 4 cancer and has wanted to see Paris her whole life.
  
  We botched the reservation process by contacting the owner independently on a different site as well as contacting Cobblestay on Tripadvisor.com, and weren't sure, only two days before our departure, that we even had a reservation! We were very impressed when Cobblestay C.E.O. Drew Graham called us personally on a Saturday to confirm that all was well. Thank you, Drew!
  
  The apartment is lovely and well-appointed. There is an ample coat closet, drawer space in the bedroom, and a well-stocked linen closet. The kitchen, though not large (they never are in Paris), is amply stocked with all the supplies necessary for basic cooking at home.
  
  The large bathroom contains a luxurious tub, a big shower (even by us standards), and a double sink. There is a separate room with toilet and washbasin, so you can take a leisurely soak after walking all day without, ahem, "discommoding" your traveling companions. ;-)
  
  We found only two faults in the apartment. The new heavy coffee table in front of the sofa could not easily be moved to open the sofabed. Also, the refrigerator makes a lot of noise when it kicks on, making it it a bit hard to fall asleep. These are minor issues, easily fixed, and I'm sure the management will see to it before my next trip, since we mentioned both to the excellent Judy.
  
  Judy was ready for everything we threw at her, from our earlier-than-planned arrival, to a phone call to request the best place near the apartment to see the Eiffel Tower light show in the evening, to recommendations for restaurants and nearby markets, to English-language cab reservations to the airport before our departure. She's an absolute gem.
  
  I'd highly recommend the flat. It really is large enough for four people to stay there, unlike a lot of properties in Paris that claim to sleep 4.
