Lake Havasu City, AZWhat a wonderful apartment
Left on 05/07/2013 for a stay in January 2013
I almost hate to write a review because I don't want too many people to know about this gem of an apartment. We stayed here in January 2013 and fell in love. Bernard and his wife are just lovely and their apartment is just perfect.
We actually would have booked it again for our trip in July, but sadly it was already booked for our dates.
The apartment is clean and very well taken care of. The market is just around the corner and the metro is very easy to access.
The view is to die for - it is breath taking and can't be beat.
You can't go wrong with renting this apartment! Check in/out was easy and getting to the apartment is very easy.
It snowed a lot during our visit in January and the apartment stayed warm and was very cozy. The terraces and balcony and the view can't be topped!
We will return to this apartment again some day!
Merci Bernard! -

We were searching for a partial rental week rental and Bernard was nice enough to work with us. He even called to the States to clarify some of the rental information before we left. During our stay we met his family and couldn't have felt more welcomed. The neighborhood is bustling but quiet part of the city w/ open markets, cafes and stores. the view was just fantastic and all city transport was nearby. What a way to enjoy Paris...

The owners met us upon our arrival, even though we were early. They were easy to work with, pleasant and helpful. The apartment is clean, modern, well-appointed and spacious with plenty of storage. The bed was very comfortable and our 16-year-old rates the sofa bed as "perfectly comfortable, compared to other sofa beds!" We were worried about being located so far from the tourist attractions since this was our first trip to Paris, but we enjoyed the local experience, especially being so close to the rue de Levis market area. The metro stop was within a block and easy to navigate. The local bistro (Le Petite Villiers) that the owners recommended was very good and made us feel welcome, even though only one server spoke English. The very best part of the apartment is the balcony overlooking the Eiffel Tower and the terrace on the other side, offering a full panoramic of the city. If it had been warmer, we might never have left the terrace!

Left on 03/31/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We've stayed often at vacation rentals in Europe, so we searched carefully and had some particular requirements before making a booking on this trip. The owner, Bernard Schuhl, was a pleasure to communicate with and the booking process was short and sweet. It was a genuine pleasure to meet him on arrival. We knew immediately that we were dealing with an honest and ethical owner.
This apartment didn't just deliver a view and a terrace. The spectacular views front and back were jaw-dropping. The Eiffel Tower and arc De Triomphe from the front floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors ... and the white dome of Sacré-Cœur Basilica from the rear terrace. It must be one of the finest views in Paris.
Inside, the apartment was just as described. A modern, well-equipped kitchen meant we could prepare the finds we'd discovered in nearby markets. The bathroom was spacious and updated, with a huge shower. The bedroom could be separated from the living area, but we'd left the divider open to enjoy the spaciousness and views. Up-to-date technology included WiFi, flat-screen TV and a phone that allowed no-charge calls back to Canada; all thoughtful amenities.
This apartment is situated in a fantastic district with one of the most magical streets in Paris just around the corner. We'd learned about Rue de Levis while searching for the perfect apartment, and being so close to this fascinating street was worth the trip alone.
Other wonderful moments came from sipping a glass of wine and watching the sunset from the apartment's remarkable rear terrace ... or taking our next glass of wine to capture the sparkling lights of the Eiffel Tower from the terrace on the apartment's other side.
We were fortunate to find this gem ... but also as fortunate to meet Bernard and his wife, Madame Schuhl. They're lovely people and you can see immediately that they've put a great deal of attention, professionalism and love into this beautiful apartment to ensure you discover the best of Paris. -

Left on 02/26/2013 for a stay in February 2013
This was the first time that I have ever booked an apartment when on vacation. So booked off of pictures and reviews left me a little apprehensive. After staying in this apartment I would definitely book it again on future travels to Paris. We were there for our honeymoon and this apartment did not disappoint!
Checking in was very simple. The owner met us outside the apartment orientated us to the apartment, how to work all the appliances (they are different in France!) and then took it a step further and walked us into the neighborhood to show us where we could go and where locals go to get groceries, bread, cheese and of course the wine!
The apartment was located very well on the edge of the 17th arrondissement bordering the 8th but more importantly the Metro was about a 2.5 minute walk away at "Villers" where you can pick up both the 2 and the 3 line so getting around Paris was a cinch.
The amenities of the apartment were more than adequate. Washer/dryer - microwave/oven, induction stove top etc. Water pressure and temperature great. It was decorated very modernly, clean (think Scandinavian design).
The neighborhood that it is situated in is very safe as well. 11th floor with elevator (you don't get that everywhere in Paris).
Great place I don't see how you could be disappointed renting this pad.

BahrainPerfect Choice
Left on 01/20/2013 for a stay in January 2013
This is the perfect Paris flat.
We're a family of 4 with two small children. We found this flat an ideal choice. It's even nicer than it appears in the pictures and is exactly as described in the listing. The views are exceptional: Paris rooftops with landmarks everywhere. The flat is done to a very high standard. The amenities are all spot on (in addition to the list above there's also a printer and a travel cot). The living and sleeping areas are conveniently laid out and very comfortable. There are electric shutters on all balconies. The bed and sofa bed are excellent quality. The kitchen has absolutely everything one might need. We didn't cook but there's everything there to prepare a full meal for several people. It's even stocked with basics including tea, coffee, sugar ...etc. The bathroom is beautiful with a door onto the back balcony and window in the shower! There are also toiletries including shampoo..etc. The laundry/storage room has a very good washer dryer and is stocked with washing detergent.
The area is lovely with shops and cafes just around the corner. The metro is very near as are many bus stops There's also a taxi stand just across the street.
Our children enjoyed the flat very much especially spotting the Eiffel tower every time they woke up or walked in to the flat. They also enjoyed their first sofa bed experience and disappearing into the bedroom and reappearing in the kitchen courtesy of the extra door to the bathroom. The flat is safe for small children although if you have a particularly clever small child you may want to make sure they don't see you opening the door to the front balcony.
Mr. Schuhl and his family are very gracious hosts. They were in the flat to welcome us with a tour of the flat and amenities. They provided us with a printout with access codes to the building and wifi and even a number for an English speaking doctor! The booking process was smooth and Mr. Schuhl was very accomodating.
This place is not to be missed!

My wife and I had been talking about visiting Paris for quite some time, but when our son and a friend went to see the Tour de France, and raved about their accomodations, even teasing us with video of their apartment taken with his iPad, well off we went. We were not disappointed as the modern fully equipped apartment had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay: plenty of room, a complete kitchen, great shower, tv (which we never used!), and a complimentary wi-fi which we did use to send lots of pictures back home. The views from the two terraces were spectacular. In the morning, we would sit outside and watch the sun come up looking east to Sacre Coeur while we ate a fresh baguette, fruit, and pastries purchased just two block away. In the evenings when we returned, we were treated to nightime views of the Eiffle Tower and the central city from the west facing terrace. Although we spent hours walking, we did take advantage of the metro located just a few block away to extend our range to places of interest. It was an easy walk to surrounding markets, cafes, and wine and cheese shops, which added a truly local flavor to our stay. Mr. Schuhl, his wife, and his daughter were truly welcoming and explained the features of the apartment, places to see, and restaurants to visit, and were just a phone call away if we needed anything. Great visit! We look forward to doing it again.

Sydney, AustraliaWonderful apartment for a stay in Paris
Left on 08/22/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We are a family of 3 and what an absolutely wonderful apartment and place to stay whilst we visited Paris! The views were fantastic - the Eiffel Tower and arc De Triomphe on one side and Sacre Coeur on the other. Enjoyed alfresco dining on the balcony...we didn't want to go out! The apartment was immaculate and everything was provided including a fully serviced kitchen, wonderful big bathroom and walk in shower (with views), luxurious linen, very comfortable beds, wifi and the list goes on...it was just fabulous! The location was also fantastic with a great supermarket, lovely cafes, bars, bakeries, restaurants and metro station only metres away from the building. It is a very safe and quiet neighbourhood too which was important for us. Bernard and Olivia were the perfect hosts and such lovely people. All our questions were answered, communication prior to and during our visit was prompt and reliable. If we required any help during our stay, they were only a phone call or SMS away. A huge bonus for us was watching the fireworks display from the balcony during Bastille Day.What a show! If visiting Paris, this apartment is very highly recommended. When we return we will stay here again for sure. Thanks Bernard and Olivia for allowing us the privilege of staying in such a wonderful apartment .

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the apartment. The owner and his daughter were extremely friendly and cooperative. Inspite of our delayed flight causing us to reach late at night they greeted us well. The place was extremely clean and the view from the apartment was spectacular.

Left on 05/30/2012 for a stay in May 2012
This is a beautiful apartment, exquisitely designed, clean and new, in a fabulous location. We think that there are very few, if any, other properties with similar views in Paris. Rue Levis market (all needed provisions can be found here) and restaurants are just around the corner. Graciously, the owners gave us a short tour of the area when we arrived.
There is a convenient Vinci parking garage within steps of the building, but we had not made previous arrangements, and having arrived on a holiday, it was closed for us. M. Schuhl helped us to find an alternate spot to park (very close) before the garage reopened.
The Villers metro is within a very short walk, and only 4 stops away from Opera on Line 3.
We sincerely felt fortunate to have found this listing, and hope to come back very soon.
