Les Halles is a lovely, quiet, and bright two-room apartment (46 m2) on the sixth floor. All the rooms branch off of a central room that has a very contemporary look and feel. The front hall (5 m²) gives onto one of two bathrooms, the toilet, a storage room, and the living room. Two windows overlooking the yard fill the spacious living room (28 m² - southwest facing) with natural light. The living room features a leather sofa-bed, designer glass-top coffee table, beanbag chair, and marble fireplace flanked by built-in shelves. Les Halles is in the heart of Paris, between the Louvre and Beaubourg's Georges Pompidou Centre. Shoppers are spoilt for choice with a vast range of shops, as well as the famous shopping centre, the Forum. With its many bars and restaurants, the neighbourhood also has plenty of nightlife. The Seine and Pont Neuf are a short walk away. With several buses, the Métro, and the RER running near the apartment, it is easy to get around the city. The apartment is situated at the corner of Rue des Halles and Rue des Déchargeurs (a small, quiet street just off of the busy Rue de Rivoli shopping street).
