In the 7th arrondissement, just a few blocks away from the Eiffel Tower, stroll along rue Cler and you are transported to the Paris of movies, of Charles Trenet's songs and Audrey Hepburn and Fred Astaire dancing under the stars. In this picturesque cobblestoned street, pretty street stalls jostle with neighbourhood cafés, bakeries and flower shops in a cityscape that hasn't changed in a century. Pick up a filled baguette sandwich and a bottle of wine and head off to nearby Champs de Mars for a picnic under the arching legs of Gustav's great tower; nip out in the morning for freshly-baked croissants and a bunch of flowers.
The classy 7th has a little of the feel of Manhattan's Upper East Side. It is home to the French National Assembly and many of Paris' government departments – and the mandarins who work there. Here on the left bank, you also have the Musée d'Orsay and Musée Rodin and a slew of expansive parks and green spaces. Nothing quite beats going for a jog in the early sunshine round the Champs de Mars before taking breakfast up to your own apartment in the heart of the city.

What a nice time we had in this one bedroom apartment! The kitchen was very well equipped and the furnishings inside gave us a comfort feeling like we never expected. The manager off the apartment made sure that we had everything we needed for our 4 nights stay. The area is perfect as it is close to the Eiffel Tower and Napoleon's tomb. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from right on Grenelle street and the open market on Rue Cler is simply brilliant!

It was so nice to have our own Parisian apartment for our first trip to Paris. It really made us feel like home and experience the authentic way of life. The furnishings inside the apartment are of high standard and the bed is very comfortable. We enjoyed every moment that we spent there and wish to return as soon as possible!

There have been a lot of apartments to choose from on our list but we finally went for this one and we are so happy that we did! It's so nice to wake up and see the Eiffel Tower first thing in the morning, have breakfast on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful districts of Paris! Everything is within walking distance and the welcoming staff was so helpful with hiring a shuttle service when we wanted to go to Versailles. Thank you again for everything and hope to see you soon!

This apartment has given me the best office that I could imagine in Paris. Traveling is not always easy and staying in checking in in hotels after long hours of flight can most of the times be so discomforting. It is the first time I tried renting an apartment and apart from being so comfortable it also was very cost affective. Thank you to everyone that made my stay so pleasant! Will surely come back to this apartment and recommend it to friends and family!

Very romantic apartment! Me and my wife spent our honeymoon here and we will never forget it! The brilliant weather made it possible to have dinner on the balcony and gaze at the beautiful lights of the Eiffel Tower! Many shops and restaurants on the same street! We loved the market on Rue Cler as we like to buy fresh food and do our own cooking! Everything from the welcoming staff to the amenities and living space of the apartment was perfect! Thank you and we hope to see you soon!

This is a large 6th floor apartment in a secure building with a (tiny) lift. It's set up for 2 but we managed to squeeze our daughter in using a large sofa as her bed. A medium to firm queen sized bed is partitioned off almost from the living area. All windows face west which let the sun in during the afternoon but wooden shutters on all of them block out light totally if required. A view of the top half of Eiffel Tower out any of the windows became "magical" at night with the light show from it. Kitchen is seperate again, a good size and fully equipped except for a microwave. Bathroom is adequate but shower is basically only useful as a handheld. Toilet is distant from bathroom and has no basin located near it. Tv (limited english channels) and WiFi worked well.
Huge disappointment was the noise. Area is very quiet in general, however apartment above had a party on Saturday night which went til after 4am. Same unit is being renovated so building work noise starts at 8am until about 5pm. This is on going til October.
Location was great. 50m from LaTour-Maubourg (Metro Line #8). 5 - 10 min walk to Les Invalides and Eiffel Tower. 2 -3 supermarkets within 2-3 mins. Dining is close no matter where you are in Paris but we found good restaurants close to the apartment in Rue amelie, Rue Cler, Bd rue la Tour-Maubourg. Fresh fruit and veg available in Rue Cler.
Would have classed apartment as excellent except for noise. Would stay again after October. We booked through a manager but have since found you can book through owner.
