Myself and 6 friends just enjoyed a winter snow in Paris this past weekend. It was incredible. Of course Paris always is and staying at the the athena @ 30 Rue Jacob was the icing on the cake. It was not easy to find an apartment to accommodate 7 adults in a nice area and that did not break the bank. The athena fit the bill. The apartment was spacious, well equipped and decorated with taste. The 2 bathrooms and the kitchen have modern facilities and are fully equipped with all the amenities you may need. The St. Germain area is the place to stay - walkable to every site you may want to venture to. The management staff was easy to work with, attentive and accommodating, My friends and I would return in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone wanting a truly Parisian experience. Warning to those coming with heavy luggage - the apartment is on the 3rd floor of a beautiful 16th century building with a lovely courtyard - however, there is no elevator. Thank you Vincent and Lyn for a memorable stay.
