“Very Paris apartment”

“Beautiful historic apartment, terrible management”

Response from the manager It is nice to read that you have so many things that you liked about this apartment, and its location in the Marais. It would be rare that we would have someone not praise our services as well. We pride ourselves on that, and feel we make the extra effort. In this case, we felt that we had done most everything that was in our power. Some special requests were not. We are usually happy to offer early check-in’s to early overseas arrivals, If and when there is no one checking out the same day. When there is, it is virtually impossible to properly clean this large apartment well for an early check in. We made several suggestions about dropping bags, but as back to back tours had been organized by them, she was not able to fit in to what was possible for us. However, in the end, we did advise that we had the apartment ready early, but they then did not come until much later. We, of course, would have liked to find a tour guide that would fill her rather complicated request, and it certainly did not have to be through us, but we could find no one available to fill their complicated requirements . Finally, the moment the guest wrote about finding bedbugs, we did call her, apologized profusely, and gave a substantial refund without being asked.. I had explained that I felt the fumigated apartment which had been declared as free of bugs, was perfect, and so that there was no issue remaining. We had even thrown out the mattresses, and bought brand new ones, so that we could be sure. We have now fumigated again, of course, Sadly, this problem has become epidemic in Paris at this moment. We did certainly not feel that we were irresponsible or dishonest, and honestly, I think we did our best to make up for the situation that arrived on their last night.

“Très belle localisation, mais manque définitivement de soins”

Response from the manager Vous avez certainement le doit de votre avoir, mas c'est vraiment different que les reactions general et de notre avis. Le mobilier de la salle à Manger sont les meubles anciennes de qualité que nos autres hôtes ( et nous) bien appréciée. Ils son bons pour des siècles. Il y a quelques tapis aussi sont de tapis de antiquaire.. Nous espérons que vous le s respecter par ne porter pas des talons. Je doute que il y a des moisissures, mai on va voire avec la femme de menage et rectifier la situation , si nous trouvons une problème.

“Great apartment for large group”

Response from the manager We are pleased to hear that the apartment worked well for you, and that you enjoyed the apartment and your stay. I have a couple of comments or suggestions, that I wish I would have had the chance to apply to while you were there. 1. The Microwave, can be turned to a regular oven setting , and is fine for baking. Recent guests even roasted a thanksgiving Turkey, 2. The living room that you used on the upper floor, is indeed the primary living room. As you suggest, the lower floor is usually offered to the younger ones, and the sitting area there gives them their own space. 3. There is a TV in the living area . Its in the armoire. 4. We supply Nespresso pods for the coffee machine, so you don't have to go search for them. If there were not there for you, I apologize, and will make sure that they are there for next guests. 5. Of course, during major holidays, such as Christmas, museum lines will be longer. Many , however, allow you to book your entry time online and avoid the lines. We appreciated your stay with us, and would be delighted to see you again.
