Sydney, AustraliaFabulous Location
Left on 01/07/2013 for a stay in January 2013
We chose Montrachet because of the view of the Eiffel Tower and were not disappointed. The view is exactly what you see in the promotional photos. The apartment is small so is probably best suited to couples. We travelled with a 7 and 5 year old and it was ok but had they been older I think it would have been too crowded. The location is superb with wonderful food shops nearby as well as easy access to the metro and RER. My only complaint would be the sofa bed. Most nights we put the kids to bed in the main bedroom and then transferred them to the sofa bed once we were ready for bed but one night they just looked too peaceful to move so we decided to sleep in the sofa bed - big mistake. It was so uncomfortable!! The mattress seems to dip down at the head end so you sleep with your feet slightly raised. Obviously this didn't bother our kids but for any adults sleeping on it it would be an issue. Other than that the apartment was great and provided everything you could possibly need. Our greeter Kevin was very helpful and the Paris Perfect team provided lots of useful information about the apartment and area.

San Diego, CA"Living" in Paris in Montrachet
Left on 12/14/2012 for a stay in December 2012
We stayed at Montrachet in the 7th for 4 nights and it was wonderful. The location was a 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and having the view from every room in the apartment was divine. The apartment is small but certainly sufficient and decorated lovely with a modern kitchen. We loved the neighborhood, close to the bus and metro and fantastic restaurants. We ate at Cafe Constant and au Bon accueil. The first is more casual and both are delicious! I'd highly recommend Paris Perfect - they were wonderful to work with and they have a large selection of apartments."

Priceless...this one word describes the view from the Montrachet apartment. This was our first visit to Paris and we wanted it to be a memorable one. From the moment we arrived and Sam welcomed us to our home for the week, until the last day when Victor's cab picked us up for our return trip to the USa, our trip was perfect. The apartment is perfect - we shopped right in our neighborhood and enjoyed living like Parisians! Old world style with modern amenities. Perfect for a couple. You cannot go wrong in choosing Montrachet for your pied-a-terre in Paris."

charlotteOur Review of Montrachet and the Building
Left on 08/23/2012 for a stay in August 2012
My family spent a week in Paris this month (August 2012) and stayed in the Montrachet apartment. Why would anyone stay in a tiny, expensive hotel room when you have a great apartment and live like a Parisian? This apartment was perfect for my husband, 8 year old daughter and me. Four might be crowded, but three was the perfect number.
The neighborhood is bustling with activity and restaurants, etc. The Metro is a short walk from the apartment. You are provided the code for the front door from the street, and then your keys will let you into the inner building and into your apartment. I felt very safe in this area...actually, the entire city seems very safe, including the Metro. (Just watch out for the gypsies and all their scams. See other forums)
The apartment is a mix of old and new, with classic french furnishings and decor, yet a modern Ikea kitchen (with a small Miele combo washer/dryer). The terrace is very narrow, as is typical of Paris apartments. When I saw the pictures on the Paris Perfect site, I had visions of eating dinner out there, etc. We are all slim people, but it was not a place that you would really want to hang out, even though there's a tiny table & two chairs. I had to climb over a chair to get to the table and the chair on the other side. Very very narrow.
The emphasis is on quiet in this building, because voices carry, and there are full-time residents in the building. Obviously, Paris Perfect guests need to be respectful of these residents as well as other P.P. renters in the building (they have two other apartments in here). You are requested to take your shoes off when you enter the apartment to soften the noise for the people below you. If you are traveling with small children who are going to run up and down the stairs, or run around the apartment making noise, I would recommend you stay somewhere else.
I would also not recommend this apartment for the disabled, as the elevator is tiny and not wheelchair accessible. In addition, one has to step over the edge of a high tub to get into the shower. It was a very nice bathroom, though, and la toilette is separate, in a tiny room next to the shower/sink area.
This apartment had really good water pressure, which may sound like a strange comment but you don't fnd that everywhere! It was very well equipped for cooking, if that's what you want to do, but we ate at restaurants except for breakfast cereal. There is no garbage disposal, so you are asked to take your trash downstairs every day. There's a very easy place to dispose of it, right there off the lobby.
Elevator is small. The rule is "one person, one bag" But it works well and fairly quickly.
If your plane arrives early in the morning, be aware that you may not be able to get into your apartment until 3:30 pm. We arrived at 7:30 am, and the Paris Perfect doesnt open until 9:00 am. Paris Perfect stored our luggage, but we had to wander the city like nomad for hours. Exhausted, we finally just found a shady spot in the park and went to sleep. A long day of being homeless, and it was pretty sad. We were crabby travelers, for sure! What a relief to get into our apartment, and Paris Perfect actually had it ready by 2:30, so we were able to get in there an hour earlier than regular check-in. What we should have done is rent an inexpensive hotel room by the airport, check in there at 7:30 am to sleep for a few hours, and then head into the city.
Paris Perfect recommends a taxi service by a fellow named Victor. We used Victor's service and highly recommend it. The cost is the same as a "regular" taxi cab, and the vehicles were new and smoke-free.
Very clean, well-equipped apartment. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable, as were the pillows. The pull-out sofa bed is very uncomfortable, though. We ended up drawing straws to see who had to sleep out there. Your head hangs down below the rest of your body, and if you try to sleep with your head at the foot of the bed instead, the bar presses into your back. If that mattress could be replaced, this apartment would be absolutely perfect!!! Even with this mattress situation, I'd highly recommend this apartment and would come back in a heartbeat. -

The Montrachet apartment was wonderful for our stay in Paris. My husband and I were celebrating a special birthday as well as a "second" honeymoon, and the Montrachet provided perfect accomodations. It is beautiful with lots of character, but also had all the modern conveniences. And the views are outstanding! The neighborhood is charming. It is close to all that we needed including groceries, restaurants, pharmacies, markets, and public transportation, without being too noisy. We had a lovely time! The Paris Perfect team was terrific. They were pleasant, helpful, and engaged in providing a great experience for us. We will definitely use them again. Thank you!!!"

Left on 02/27/2012 for a stay in January 2012
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Paris, and there is no question in our minds that living in an apartment was far superior to staying at even the fanciest hotel. Montrachet's view of the Eiffel Tower was stunning, and the apartment provided us a very private and cozy retreat, with a charmining Parisian neighborhood atmosphere. The apartment's central location made touring the city a snap and gave us ready access to fabulous bakeries, pastry shops, cheese shops, cafes, and parks. We miss our apartment!

We stayed a week at Montrachet a couple of years ago. I was just looking at the Paris Perfect website and it brought back such wonderful memories. We were celebrating my birthday and my husband and I had a fantastic time. The flat was immaculate, so convenient, and the atmosphere was simply magical. The hourly light show of the Eiffel Tower was imcomparable. Can't wait to return!

We celebrated our 35th anniversary in Paris and our Montrachet apartment made for a wonderful week. It is beautifully decorated and has a well equipped kitchen. The bedding and linens are all top quality. Our greeter did a great job explaining details of the apartment and the neighborhood. The view of the Eiffel Tower right out our windows was magical, especially when the lights twinkled on the hour. Immersing ourselves in the local area made for a special trip. There are many wonderful restaurants nearby, and a favorite was Cafe Constant. Also, there is a great pastry shop right across the street and a wine shop nearby too. We plan to return.

Adelaide, AustraliaPerfect for our Honeymoon!
Left on 06/03/2011 for a stay in April 2011
During our honeymoon we stayed here for a week and it was absolutely beautiful and relaxing. This was our second trip to Paris and we wanted a more relaxing trip then the first with less sight seeing. Montrachet exceeded our high expectations!
We ate food on our balcony, cooked food in our kitchen and enjoyed falling asleep with a view of the Eiffel tower! The street you are on is fantastic. It's lined with cute French stores and the Rue Cler markets are only a few blocks away. We bought some fresh flowers for the apartment from there.
Paying more for the apartment over a hotel probably works out fairly even because we did all our laundry in the room and cooked some of our meals. Plus the view and location are just amazing.
If I am ever in Paris again, which I'm sure I will be, I'm not going to bother looking for an alternative. Montrachet is perfect. -

"We loved our stay in the Montrachet apartment. The Eiffel Tower views, especially when it did it's sparkle show every hour, were magical. It was such fun to get to know our little neighborhood. And the information booklet in the apartment was well done and very helpful. The kitchen was very well equipped. We loved our Nespresso and plan to get one at home. One new thing we learned on this trip to Paris is not to be afraid of the buses! We had always taken the Metro around Paris (as well as walking, of course). The buses are easy, clean, not crowded and you can see where you're going. We will use the buses as much as we can from now on. The buss stop is right across the street on avenue Bordonnais. Les Fables de la Fontaine is an especially wonderful restaurant. And Chez l'Ami Jean and Le Violon d'Ingres. All should be booked ahead. We're looking forward to our next visit to Paris and to a Paris Perfect apartment! "

My apartment, the Montrachet, through ParisPerfect was fabulous! As this was my first time renting an apartment through the internet, I was a little afraid that it might not be all that it was represented to be. I couldn't have been more pleased. When Sarah opened the door and I walked in, and I saw that incomparable view of the Eiffel Tower, I knew I had made the right decision. It was so relaxing to be able to just get up in the morning and have my coffee as I planned my day. The little bakery across the street had the most wonderful almond croissants and creme brulee. For two weeks it was my little home away from home.
The staff is so very helpful, and the office is a two minute walk from the apartment. I would recommend ParisPerfect to anyone who is looking for a much more personal stay in the wonderful City of Lights! -

“My daughter and I spent an unforgettable week in your apartment. We were celebrating our birthdays, which we share, her 18th and also her graduation from high school. It was the trip of a lifetime! We completely felt like we lived right there in the city, and were not tourists! Everything about the apartment was beautiful and we had everything that we needed, including the most fantastic view! Your staff was always so attentive, paying attention to every detail and made the entire arrival process very simple. The location was wonderful - Rue St Dominique was such a lovely street with everything that we needed, and more! Thank you so much for such an incredible trip. We will most definitely rent from Paris Perfect again whenever we return! "

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed staying in the Montrachet during our three weeks in Paris. It was exactly as advertized and perfect from beginning to end. We took many of the recommendations in the information booklets that were provided and we were very pleased. All the necessities of life were within a few steps of the apartement.
It was such a surprize to find how close we really were to the many places that we wanted to visit. Especially the Eiffel Tower. We watched the dazzling light show many times from the apartment windows as well as from the park at Champ de Mars. The neighbourhood was very safe and we felt comfortable walking to the park and to the Tower on many nights.
We hope to stay at the Montrachet again in the future. Many thanks to Sarah and Lisa for their professionalism, thoughfulness, and cheerful assistance. -

Our family really enjoyed our stay in the Montrachet apartment. The view was incredible of the Eiffel tower - very romantic at night, (could lay in bed and watch the light show!) I loved having a little balcony to enjoy a glass of wine each evening. The location was excellent - close to the river, transit, many sites, cafes and shops where you could walk and buy anything you needed. The Paris Perfect team was very helpful in making sure we were happy and available to us. The info they sent us prior to our trip was especially useful - helped us plan our activities ahead of time and alerted us to the best places to eat and shop. The apartment was pretty and we enjoyed the extras - Expresso machine and bottle of wine welcoming us. I really felt like I got a taste of what it's like to live as a Parisian for the week!

!!!! YES, Paris was Perfect !!!
Philippe and Madelyn,
Montrachet was wonderful, the neighborhood was fantastic, your city and it's people were absolutely the most friendly and most cordial during our entire stay.
We visited as many of the suggested places on your list as time would allow.
The restaurants were fantastic, Rue Cher with it's shops were a wonderful treat. We made the Brasserie directly across the street from our apartment window, our people watching place each afternoon. We would sit and talk about the sights we had seen and the people and places we had visited. Their staff was wonderful. Thank you for a spectacular vacation in your apartment, we are already talking about coming back as soon as possible!Kevin -
