A very nice area to explore, near the Marais and right next to the Bastille......a very hip area! This is an extra large one bedroom apartment of 80 m 2 will provide lots of space for a group of up to 4 adults. It has everything you need, including an elevator to take you up to the 4 th European floor (5 th US). This and the large westward facing windows allow for lots of bright light and an open feeling and it is a quiet, tranquil apartment.
You are sure to enjoy this area, which you might not yet know, and will be pleasantly surprised to discover it's c...Read more

Sydneywe had a great time.
Left on 01/08/2012 for a stay in September 2011
When we first arrived and saw the place from the outside, we were not particularly favourably impressed, but once we entered the olace, exparienced the security doors and then entered the flat we felt immediately at home so to speak and perfe3ctly safe.
To cut a long story short, we got all you promissed us and the proximity to the metro and the local restaurants were an added bonus. -

San Leon, TxExceeded my expectations !
Left on 05/26/2011 for a stay in May 2011
Great instructions both before and in the apartment. Lots of good eating places on street. Very comfortable and quiet. English tv and phone is a nice touch. Couple of blocks to the Metro. Close to bank, bakery and supermarket. Creperie Bretonne is great place to eat, up the street several blocks. Never felt unsafe walking the streets. Everything it was advertised and more. Renting an apartment is the way to go. Thanks Vacation In Paris

Burlington, New Jerseygreat location and value!

We were able to check-in little earlier since we were arriving @ around 11.30. Nice, clean and comfortable! Would definitely recommend it to anyone and would love to go back myself. We had very nice dinner right across the street at Chez Paul very first night, Le Mirage (Italian) on rue Charonne (once) and highly recommend to check this beautiful Thai restaurant Blue Elephant -5 minutes walk (little on expensive side, but well worth it!).
Felt very nice to go back “home” after long day exploring the museums and the city and just relax on a kitchen or living room with the glass of wine.
There were four of us (all adults) there. -

Washington DC, District of ColumbiaDefinitely will return!

A quite spacious and relaxing apartment in the heart of the Bastille -- cafes, restaurants, Monoprix all close by, easy walking distance to metro and a number of buses. On a lively street but high enough up on 4th floor (with a lift) that not noisy at night. Exactly as pictured but even more spacious. Excellent mattress on bed; good pillows, comforters. Only one word of warning: the step-up-and-over into the bathtub is quite high--bathing small children or making the step up for someone without full mobility would be very difficult. Otherwise, an excellent place to stay, one I will definitely return to.

Left on 09/24/2010 for a stay in September 2010
The apartment was spacious, bright and very quiet (especially considering the many bars and restaurants nearby). The location was convenient to metro stops. When we had a problem with the water heater, the owner called to check that all was taken care of properly which we appreciated. I recommend this highly. It is comfortable and nicely furnished.

Location. Location. Location.
We had everything around the area - Grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, atmosphere, bars, Bastille, The Metro, non tourist area, very safe, etc...
There were 4 of us in our group - 3 adults and one teenager.
The place is exactly as it appears online, very cozy, clean and welcoming. After a hard day of sight seeing and shopping we could not wait to get back to the apartment and open up the floor to ceiling windows and soak up the sounds of Paris.
There was enough room for all of us and we were not in each others way - much better than staying in a hotel.
Turned the TV only once during our 6 day stay.
We will definitely stay there again without a doubt.

Morrisville, NCMy second home in Paris...
Left on 07/28/2010 for a stay in July 2010
If you've ever wondered how it would be to live in Paris, this is the apartment to stay in. Amazingly spacious with all the amenities of home. Save Euros by cooking your own food and even wash your clothes right at home, surf the wireless Internet, and if you need a break from the French TV you have a ridiculous amount of English channels via Sky. Turn the corner and you are on one of the most happening streets in Paris - Rue de Lappe with several pubs etc and as usual at least 2 metro stations are within a 5 minute walk. Don't hesitate, a bottle of French wine awaits you.
